There are three memorable moments in Alexandre LeClair’s career so far. The first one is being drafted in the NSFL during the inaugural draft by the Yellowknife Wraiths at 62nd overall. There wasn’t much of an idea as to where LeClair might end up and just being drafted was enough for him to feel pride.

The second most memorable moment in LeClair’s career was when he was traded at the end of the first season from Yellowknife to the brand new Las Vegas Legion. It was not very well known at the time by the public but Alexandre was not too keen in playing second fiddle to Josh Garden. This prompted the Wraiths to trade him away per his request. The trade was a pretty big blockbuster as Tyler Varga & Mark Ramrio were also involved in this trade. Looking back at this today, maybe LeClair was a bit too quick to get out of Yellowknife but other than the current state of the team, his life is much better in a living city like Las Vegas.

The final most memorable moment would have to be happening as we speak. This season has been phenomenal for LeClair as he’s taken over as the primary Wide Receiver for the Las Vegas Legion. Who knows how the rest of the season will shape out but it is already almost guaranteed to be a career best performance for the Montreal native.

The first huge moment of my life came my sophomore year of high school. We'd just beaten our cross-town rivals and I was celebrating with my teammates when coach pulled me aside and introduced me to a scout. "I liked what I saw out there kid, how'd you like to wear blue and gold someday?" I was born in Denver but grew up cheering for Notre Dame - that's where my parents met and that's how I was raised.

A few years later was my next one. I had a solid high school career but when Notre Dame offered me a scholarship I was floored. This was the moment I'd dreamed about since I was a kid. Wearing the golden helmet, basking in the shadow of Touchdown Jesus, touching the Play Like a Champion Today sign. To this point in my career that's probably the biggest moment.

As for on-field memories, it has to be the last regular season game of my senior year of college. Southern Cal had the ball on the 1 with seconds on the clock. We were nursing a 4 point lead on the road. They handed the ball off and the back got stuffed in the line but he bounced it outside. It was him against me, just like the drills we'd done since middle school. I made the tackle and after a conference that seemed like it took forever the officials ruled him inches short. 4 straight wins over SC was an unbelievable feeling.

Ian Bavitz has lead a pretty good career, especially considering he's only been in the NSFL for three seasons. Picking and choosing his most memorable performances can be difficult, but the first one that comes to mind was in his rookie season.

Season One, Week Three was one of Bavitz's most dominating performances. Against the San Jose Sabercats, Bavitz accomplished 8 tackles, 2 sacks, an interception and forced a fumble that he went on to recover. Bavitz's defensive dominance allowed his Orange County Otters to escape with a 23-10 victory.


Another memorable moment for Bavitz comes in his college career. As a linebacker, his scoring opporunities are limited, so he looks back fondly on his first-ever touchdown. Bavitz was playing with a cast on his left wrist and hand because he had broken the bones. He was able to nab an interception regardless of his one good hamd and he returned it 60 yards for a touchdown to put his team in the lead for good.

The third moment for Bavitz doesn't exactly qualify as 'memorable' because he actually has no memory of it. He does remember the consequences quite well. On a blitz up the A-Gap he met the opposing fullback at the line, the story goes that neither of them got up for several minutes. Both players were taken to the hospital for severe concussions. The concussion was bad enough that Bavitz was held out for a week before he could return to playing.

My best football memory would have to be the night of the NSFL draft. The anticipation was killing me, and I spent all day trying to fill my time with tasks that would distract me from the upcoming events. I had a very good idea I was going one of three places, Yellowknife, Philadelphia, or Baltimore, and probably in fourth round, with Yellowknife and Baltimore having the first five picks. Because of this, I was absolutely shocked when I saw name was called in the third round. Getting that call from Hendrix is one of my best football memories.

One of my next favorite football memories would have to be my first NSFL game. Unfortunately for me, it would be against the Orange County Otters who have two of the best offensive tackles in the league. Even more unfortunate though, I would lined up against Angus Winchester, a man who didn’t allow a single sack all Season 1. Welcome to the NSFL. He was an absolute beast and dominated me the majority of the game. I was, however, able to finish the game with 4 tackles and 2 tackles for loss, a solid game for any rookie.

My final football memory I’ll talk about here has to be the Season 2 Ultimus Bowl. The playoff win over the Wraiths was exhilarating, but this, this was an entirely different level. From the constant media coverage to the level of hype in the locker room, it was, by far, the most exciting game I’ve ever been a part of. Unfortunately for us, the game didn’t end as well as we’d hoped, but I had a pretty decent game, and it made me excited for the seasons to come.

The first thing I remember is feeling the butterflies in my stomach. I was ten years old, and I was about to start my first American football practice. I didn’t know the rules of the game nor any of the other kids playing, but I was excited. I was finally old enough for my parents to let me play. I stepped onto the practice field, the smell of the grass reminding me that it was summer, the heat bearing down on my face, and the weight of my helmet reminding me that I was still a child. That was a good year.

My second vivid memory comes from high school. I was slated to start at both running back and linebacker. At just under 180 pounds, I was nervous to do both. These guys were not nearly as skinny as I was. I just had to hope that my quickness and intelligence could get me through the game. My first snap at running back was a good one. I was supposed to get the toss and take it outside the right tackle. The QB was under center. The ball was snapped. He turned around to make the toss, and immediately I had a massive defensive end in my face. He had gotten free in the backfield, but I could see my left tackle charging his way.I cut the run back inside, allowing my tackle to get there. One moment of hesitation. A hole opened up in the B gap, and I dashed through it. I was in the second level of defenders. A block from my tight end, and it was just the safeties to beat. I cut the run back to the left and they didn’t stand a chance. It was my first touchdown in high school, and there were a lot more to come.

College was a great time for me. I had gotten the opportunity to play running back for three years, but I was only used as a sub. In my senior year, I decided I wanted to make more of an impact. I put on about 15 pounds and switched positions. I had played linebacker in high school, so it was a familiar spot for me. I had a pretty good year, leading the team in tackles and adding a couple of interceptions for good measure. Thanks to my teammates and me, we had gone 9-4 and earned a spot in the Liberty Bowl against Arkansas. I only racked up 5 tackles and a pass deflected, but we had won 26-3. Somehow I got the game ball. “This one goes out to the quarterback of our defense and our Most Improved Player of the year, Ishigawa!” proclaimed Coach Holgorsen. “We held those bastards to 3 points, and we sniffed out every damn play before the ball was even snapped. Congratulations, kid!” The locker room gave a cheer. My college career was over, but my days in football would go much, much farther...

The first memorable moment in my career was my first ever pre-season game in the NSFL. It was late in the second half, we were down by 3 points. I had just been given the starting OLB, and have been looking to make a big play all game. It was 3rd and 8 and the Otters were on offense. The ball is snapped and I am like a deer in headlights. It was an obvious passing play, but what was my assignment, where was my man? As I was sprinting to catch up to the Tight end, I saw Stormblessed coming on a crossing route. I knew he was the favorite target of the Otters offense and I took a blind guess. So I jumped the route, got infront of Stormblessed and Picked off the pass. Stormblessed was immediately blown up by Broadway, and I had a clear lane to the endzone. Nothing will ever feel as amazing as that first pick 6.

The second memorable moment was going to the championship game. The hawks finished in last place during Season 1, but we were all determined to change that. The whole season was an amazing ride and I can't wait to go back this year as well.

My last memorable moment was when I was in college, we were playing Alabama in the CFB Playoffs. I swear to god, those were not college athletes, they were titans. They fucking mollywopped us, and thats when I knew to never fuck with Bama.

When thinking back on his college career, Denzel Diaz flashes a cheeky smile, remembering fond memories. As a walk-on, Denzel earned his worth on the scout team his freshman year, before earning a scholarship late into his sophomore season. He remembers the hot California sun beating down on the Trojan practice field, taking on hits from guys much bigger than him, and much more physically mature. One of the fondest memories Denzel recalls is the fight that he was involved in at a practice. The team captain that happened to be a linebacker hit Denzel after the whistle, ehich resulted in fisticuffs and flying helmets. Another fond memory Denzel recalls is his first college touchdown, as a Junior against Western Kentucky. It was nothing special or spectacular - just a simple 2 yard plunge into the end zone, but it holds a special place in Denzel's heart. That touchdown was a culmination of hard work in school and on the field, over two years. But how could forget his "breakout" game against UCLA as a senior. 214 yards and 3TDs as a no-name 5'6 runningback not even expected to start. Truly a special moment. But his fondest college memory is the simple atmosphere of gamedays. Yes, the NSFL has some electric atmospheres, but college football just has this allure and pageantry about it that causes Denzel to trip on nostalgia. Whether he was the starter, or the 3rd string RB, the atmosphere of gameday is the fondest memory Denzel had.

King's clutch Interception takes Florida to the 2015 Birmingham Bowl
In his freshman year at Florida after walking on Jonathan expected to be red shirted his first year, but after outworking his teammates and dominating everyone in practice he earned a shot to play in the final game of the season. Jonathan's first game was going good he played hard and the results came, he was making plenty of tackles, but wasn't targeted at all in the air through out the whole game. In the 4th quarter with the Gators up by 2 against FSU with 30 seconds left former Heisman winner Jameis Winston threw a deep bomb right into the hands of King who sealed the game.

King Breaks FBS career interception record with 30
In his final game of his junior year in the 2017 outback bowl King had 2 interceptions in a 30-3 blowout win against the Iowa Hawkeyes. The new career record is set at 30 and after a dominant collegiate career King declared for the NSFL

King gets drafted by the Otters in the 5th round
After an amazing 3 years at UF King decides to forgo his final season and declare for the NSFL. The NSFL entering its 3rd season had its 3rd annual draft that found Jonathan picked up in the 5th round by the Orange County Otters.

Gregor Clegane had many memorable moments during his career as an offensive lineman for the Orange County Otters. The first such memory is where he was ineligible to enter the season one draft because he was indicted. It was a high profile criminal trial where Clegane had to prove his innocence. Thankfully justice was true and Clegane was exonerated of the crime and was eligible to enter the NSFL. However, he had to do so as a waiver player.

His second most memorable moment was when Gregor Clegane shook the league down to its very foundation when he announced he would refuse to play for any team who drafted him if it was not the Otters. Calamity ensued as the children of the league gawked and squealed and shrieked their discontent over his move. They claimed it would ruin the parity of the league. They claimed that it set a bad precedent and all players would be demanding their teams going forward. They claimed the Otters were cheating. Clegane doesn't give a damn.

The third most memorable moment was his rejoining the league for season 3 after his long hiatus during the offseason. Clegane took some time to search his soul and face his demons. Although only a little is known about the journey he undertook, the effect it has had on his performance on the field is unmistakable. Gregor Clegane is back to old form and dominating the league. And it is a feeling he will not soon forget.

Draft night

My friends and family waited with me, gathered around the TV. A lot of guys expecting to go in the first two rounds attended the draft in person, but there wasn't enough room for everyone I wanted to be around. Every pick the room would go silent and as the first round passed, my friends jeered at the TV, insisting the GMs were stupid. I knew I wanted to play for the Outlaws from the beginning, but once they passed me with their first pick, I wasn't so sure I'd fall to 16. Luckily for me, the only other team I'd had a long talk with passed me and I became the new WR 2 for the best team in the NSFL.

Yards on yards

The SaberCats dropped one of the roughest games in NSFL history last season, losing 65-0 to the outlaws. I would know, because I set the single game receiving yard record with 145 yards. The game ball was mine, and the paycheck was sweet.

Up and coming

When the Yeti acquired Mayran Jackson in a trade, making myself the number one receiver in Arizona, I immediately felt a strong sense of conviction and desire to elevate my game even higher. Knowing the trust the Outlaws put in me to succeed, it felt good. It still does. It's just another milestone in my way to the hall of fame.
