Speaking from personal experience Jayce Tuck is definitely the best at what he does. Tuck is the biggest, the fastest, the strongest, and best dancer amongst all the defensive tackles in the league probably anybody in the league when it comes to strength and the ability to get around linemen. Tuck is the all time NSFL leader in sacks by a good margin and this year he is on track to demolish his own record for sacks in a season. As he continues to separate himself as the best player in the league, it is clear that his name will be in the record books of the NSFL for a very long time the records he is setting may very well be unbeatable. As the league continues to grow and advance in seasons, more and more players will get higher TPE numbers. This means that even if another Defensive Tackle were to enter the league in 5 seasons and had the same meteoric rise in TPE he would be facing experienced NSFL players that are higher TPE than them and they would not produce at such ridiculous numbers as Tuck. Therefore I predict that these records that Tuck is putting up will never be broken for as long as the NSFL system stays the way that it is. This means that not only is Tuck the best at what he does he will be the best to ever do what he does.

Bork Bjornsson might not be the best player in the NSFL, or the best defensive end in the NSFL, or even the best player on the Yellowknife Wriaths, but the one thing he has that helps him stand out above the rest of the players in the league in his magnificent beard.

The first hairs to appear on Bork’s chin did so while he was just a Freshmen in high school. The last time Bork ever sported a completely shaved face was his Junior year of high school, where he shaved on October 31st in preparation for his school’s no shave November beard growing competition (which he won, of course).

Ever since then, Bork has sported the bearded look constantly and without fail. The ladies love it. The dudes wish they had it. Children marvel at it. The elderly reminisce about what their life would have been like if they had it. And all across the NSFL, players know exactly who “The Bearded One” is. It’s really not even that long, to be honest. But it has that special quality that every potential beard-grower desires. It’s not frizzy or messy looking, it’s not thin, and it doesn’t have random patches of different colors. It’s just amazing.

I am choosing to write about Nicholas Pierno. Many will say that he is great at throwing interceptions and may even be “the best at this task”. With 26 interceptions thrown through 9 games, it would be hard to argue with that logic. He does seem to have it down to a science. What Nicholas Pierno is the best at though is perseverance and learning from his mistakes. He has been criticized by many through 9 weeks now and he continues to show up every week and give his 100%. We have seen other players retire, reroll, or just flat go inactive for far less denunciation so it’s a testament to Pierno’s dedication to himself, his team mates, and the entire Colorado franchise as Pierno progresses through his rookies growing pains. We’ve all witnessed a quarterback go from a 32% completion game throwing 3 INTs and posting a dismal 7.5 QBR to a poised, slightly refined QB completing 60% of his passes, posting a QBR of over 43, and leading his team to a victory over the NSFC favorite Yellowknife Wraiths. That’s over a 500% increase in QBR rating in only 6 short weeks. And yes, despite not throwing a TD that game, he LED his team. As the QB, you are the face of the franchise. As the leader, you are condemned for their shortcomings and praised for their successes. I am excited to watch his career progress and expect great things to come as the Yeti continue this rebuild and stack pieces around this thriving, young QB.

The guy who is the best at what he does, has to be Tim Pest. When he was picked up on the waiver in S1 he had an OK season. Nothing incredible, but nothing terrible. He did good enough to help the Outlaws win the first ever Ultimus. S2 however, is when Tim pest became Tim Pest. The entire season he allowed ZERO, 0, Nada, Nothing, not even one, not close, not even a decimal, amount of sacks. This was after Winchester allowed 0 sacks in Season 1. Pest however didn't allow a single sack all season long INCLUDING playoffs. And he has now started off season 3 right where he left off. 0 SACKS. It is obvious that he is the best at what he does, which is blocking. If you say any one else is better than him, you are wrong. You are wrong and dumb. Which to be fair, is what I think most of the otters team is. I find it incredible that Tim Pest is so great, and with Pat Pancake and Arbin Asipi next to him. This Outlaws Oline has gone from a huge weakness, to average and just needing 1 more player to make it a strength. And that has to be because of Tim pest.

Samuel Zhang is the best rushing wide receiver in the league, full stop. He's got 1 carry on 2 yards, for an elite 2 yard per carry average, good enough for first among all Wide receivers in the league. He's the league leader of carries among all wide receivers, the league leader in rushing yards among all wide receivers in the league, tied for first in rushing TDs among all wide receivers in the league, and first in Rushing yards per carry among all wide receivers in the league. His elite rushing ability compared to all the wide receivers in the league has been an integral part of the Outlaw's number 1 ranked rushing attack in the league.

This ability to be a threat both through the air and on the ground has made Zhang an extremely dangerous player and offensive weapon for the Outlaws. His ability to be a dual threat player, and play the wide receiver #3 and running back #3, has helped the offense of the Outlaws greatly, and has made him one of the biggest steals of the season 3 NSFL draft. With the best running back in the league, one of the best #2 running backs in the league, and the best rushing wide receiver in the league, the Outlaw's deadly rushing attack looks to be one of the most dominant units in the league.

All the stats you need to see to begin this PT. He is the best at almost everything he does when it comes to the position of QB this season. Leading the League in throwing yards, Completions, completion percentage, and overall rating, it’s hard to argue he isn’t the best. The next closest rating? 14 points behind. His performance has been nothing but dominant for his team and has to be a league favourite for multiple trophies at the conclusion of the S3. The only downside is his teams current record of 6-4 and not being able to close the gap on the Outlaws more. The good news is that the Otters passing game has never looked stronger, and many teams are having troubles coming close to even challenging or stopping it.

3rd and long? You most likely don’t need to stress to much as an Otters fan, because Boss will most likely pick up those yards needed and not run the ball like some other teams seem to be obsessed with doing (COUGHsabercatsCOUGH). He is the best in the League, and the best at what he does. Bar None. (206 words)

Dustin Evans has the best dropped passes in the League. You look around at most teams, and you see players complain. You see players cry about cheating. You see discussions threads posted calling for Er's head. Then you have Dustin Evans. He goes out there, and sets the gold standard. This guy leads the league in drops and hasn't mustered a word about it. Evans is a part of the Number One team in the NSFL, who rank Number Two in Total Offense. Yeah, they might be getting carried by Mackworthy a bit since they rank Seventh overall in Pass yards.

His hands, which sit at an 80 rating, match those of All Star Wideout Robert Phelps, and Bradley Westfield, but has far more drops than both of them. I do have to say though, HE LOOKS GOD DAMN GOOD DOING IT TOO.

Evans is up there with the elite receivers in the league with a Longest Reception of 45 yards, with a terrific average of 15.5 yards per catch. He is on pace to reach 900 yards, with a great chance of eclipsing the century mark.

Pundits and opposing coaches are going to be scratching their head wondering what his year could have looked like had he not been dropping those passes so beautifully, and catching them instead.

The fastest defensive player in the game is Antoine Delacour of the Baltimore Ravens, and it is not even close. He puts this athletic ability to great use by being able to shadow any wide receiver that lines up across from him. So far on the season he has intercepted four passes and deflected 14 more, both are top three marks in the league. Delacour has always been a key part of the Baltimore defense, but he really became a household name after shutting out star WR Josh Garden in the NSFC championship game last season. That speed also comes to use in run support, he has the most tackles of any corner back in the league. He quickly diagnoses the play with his high football IQ and attacks, if the RB ventures over to Delacour's side of the field it is almost certain he will make the tackle or at least right near where the ball carrier was brought down. In a league where there the wide reciever position is absolutely stacked with talent, having great corners to match up with them is a necessity. Not only is Delacour the fastest in the game, he makes up 50% of the best CB duo in the league with fellow stud Darnell Turner. (212)
