The Arizona Outlaws had a Christmas party with an extensive open bar. Needless to say Charlie Law ended up more than a little drunk. After helping teammate King Bronko get the PR head, Edith, to a couch in the GMs office so she could sleep of hey own drinking, Charlie gathered add many players and staff as he could and made a speech.

"I'm not really religious." he said. "I'm also not one of those self absorbed asswagons who has to make everything about my beliefs and can't just enjoy stuff. I enjoy this holiday for what it is. A time for companionship, love, togetherness, and joy. I appreciate that and I love all of you....to varying degrees. Everyone have a great holiday, whichever one is important to you, and be safe. Now, Mr. Ess is trying to impress us with his party throwing skills and I for one think its only appropriate that we impress him right back with our ability to live up to the party he's thrown. DILLY DILLY!"

After the party Charlie flew back to Arizona and spent the week with his family and friends.

Boss Tweed decided to stay in Colorado for Christmas this year. With snowstorms rolling in across the country, he figured it would be better to just stay in the Rocky Mountains for the holidays rather than try flying out to the east coast. With a break in team practices for the holiday, Tweed kept up private practices on his own and also did some holiday volunteer work. He spent some time at the local church helping with their Christmas tree sales and their soup kitchen. Tweed went to a midday service on Christmas Eve before heading home and settling in for the holidays. With a big snowstorm coming in, he planned to stay in for the rest of Christmas Eve and for Christmas Day. He had already gotten to see his teammates plenty over the break and would see his family next time he went back home, so he wanted to have a little alone time for Christmas. He had recently picked up the new NSFL 2k game and was looking forward to getting to playing against some of the new players who had just gotten the game for Christmas. With the downfall of the Outlaws, most people were using the Otters and airing the ball out with Mike Boss but Tweed likes to stick with the Yeti and ran all over his competition with Tweed and Pierno. It was a fun time and nice break for Tweed, but he'll be looking forward to getting back on track and helping bring the Yeti back to contention in the new year.

This time of the year once more. Where us NSFL players can go to our families and enjoy a huge meal as long as we are not playing...Well good thing this year there is an off season during the holiday break, I don't like playing in the snow anyway. But now I can go to my grandparents who live on some mountain that is 40 minutes away from some village with population of 20. There I can kick back and relax and have a great meal while my extended family members badger me on how I should be playing better. Eventually I will be sucked into a game of outdoor football where I have to tone it down but then I have to awkwardly smile as all of my family members joke as that I should be better than what they saw from me. Eventually our family plays some board games like uno or clue till someone gets really upset and quits. We all drink and enjoy life till we go to sleep. I always enjoy spending time with my family plus most all live near Georgia or Tennessee so it's not that far of a drive. Plus free food!

From December 24th to January 1st, Stone get pretty busy. Everything start with a few hours volunteering at the children’s hospital of Las Vegas. He’s usually spending the whole Christmas’ Eve with children, reading them stories and offering them gifts. Stone always liked kids and often find time to help out with different organizations. He’s always keeping part of his paycheck every year for gifts and donations to different foundations. He usually returns on Christmas to help out with the celebrations and meals. Once it’s done, depending of the team schedule, he tries to fly home back in Canada to spend at least one day with his family. However, this is not always possible and sometime he has to resign to call them via Skype and discuss with them over the internet. After that, Stone usually take a few days dedicated to spend more time with his ‘little brother’ from the Big Brother Big Sisters of America’s organization. They usually go to a theme park around town and the Siegfried & Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat. For the new year, it’s usually the night that Stone spend finally relaxing, going to the best spa in town for the day and enjoy the tranquility for the day.

Being from Canada, Cameron Taylor is used to the cold dreary weather of winter time. After the championship celebration in Portland, Taylor headed back to the Great White North to spend some time relaxing with friends and family and to enjoy some good old Christmas activity time. This included Christmas day celebrations and opening presents, it involved grabbing some beers with old friends, it involved visiting his old schools where he grew up, and it of course involved heading out to the pond to play some pick up puck with the locals. Nothing has really changed in his home town, but now after the success in his rookie season, people have changed how they look at him. No longer is he a high school football player, he is now a star. So when he heads to Christmas Eve service at his local church, some of the attention is turned away from baby Jesus in the manger and is now headed to the hulking safety nestle in one of the back pews. While family and friends are always great to catch up with during the holiday season, Taylor has his sights set on Yellowknife, because S5 of the NSFL is coming up quick, and Taylor plans to be back next winter celebrating another championship with the same family and friends.

Cordell Joshua headed back home to Oklahoma to enjoy the holiday season after signing his rookie contract with the Chicago Coyotes. Joshua enjoys a no frills Christmas, spending it the same way he has since he was a child, surrounded by his family with a variety of good food and drink. Cordell and his family enjoy a few Christmas rituals, including a drive out of the city to take a walk on the day itself, and an annual toast to hope for good health and fortune in the year to come. Cordell managed to find some time to meet up with his old hometown friends and share a beer, where they all exchanged a few stories about the last year, something the busy schedule of pro football doesn't allow him to do as much as he would like. Cordell will have to miss out on his usual family New Year party this year however due to his commitments with the Coyotes, including a rigorous holiday training camp and volunteering with some local charities, before they play their next game, and so he was forced to catch an early flight back to Chicago on Wednesday morning to ensure he arrived in good time. All in all, Cordell's Christmas was nothing extraordinary but it was exactly the way he had hoped it would be.

This Holiday season you could find Angus Winchester mostly spending time with his family. Although his wife's first two births were well documented in the media mostly because of what a medical mystery his first two children turned out to be, while the following births have been slightly more normal. Thus far Winchester has 6 children, the most recent four being 2 pairs of twins. It is rumored his wife is pregnant again at the moment as well. But those weren't the only kids Winchester spent time with this offseason holiday. We also spent time with his other kids, his baby goats. The Winchester Ranch, located in northern California is home to some 50 goats and well over 200 sheep. He raises them for their wool, mostly the sheep for merino wool. Becoming a rancher has been his retirement plan since before declaring for the NSFL draft, having grown up on a farm in Tennessee. So as the holiday season winds to a close Winchester is happy to have had time to spend with his family and his animals, but is looking forward to another strong season playing in the middle of the Orange County defense, and bringing home another trophy.

Borkus Maximus III spent the holiday season training. It's all he could do, really, since the DSFL preseason was supposed to start but didn't. So instead of playing, he spent his time practicing. He and his fellow DSFL players couldn't go home because "we might play soon" so they spent their holidays away from loved ones, throwing balls around and lifting weights. Borkus Maximus III actually didn't mind, even before moving to the US he had always been a firm believer in "no days off," "grinding," and "working out every day." He accepted his role as a motivator in the Chicago locker room, dragging fellow DSFL rookies out of bed and into the weight room or out to the practice field to get some reps in. Even though the holidays were upon us, Borkus Maximus III took advantage of the free time to work on his game as he prepares for his first ever DSFL game (even if it is just preseason). Specifically, Borkus Maximus III took advantage of the heavy Chicago snowfall to familiarize himself with playing in the snow, and to take some pointers from other Chicago athletes on how best to deal with the cold weather. Apparently slathering yourself in Vaseline helps.

With the holidays upon us, Eli Kamaka took some much needed time to relax and go home back to Hawaii. This year, he invited his good friend and fellow teammate Micah Hendrix (@HalfEatenOnionBagel) to spend the holidays in Hawaii. Eli and Micah spent the week doing all of Eli’s favorite things which included: surfing, scuba diving, fishing, and most importantly eating!!! Micah brought his whole family to Hawaii for Christmas and got to meet all of Eli’s extended family and friends and oh boy are there a lot of them. They had a great luau on the beach for Christmas and had a whole roasted pork along with potato mac, poi, ahi tuna, and big heaping’s of rice. After dinner, Eli and Micah’s family hung out on the beach as the sun was setting and listened to Eli’s uncles play the guitar and sing songs while the rest of his family started dancing. It was a relaxing evening filled with laughter, song, dance, and full bellies. Eli and Micah were glad to finally have some time off after the NSFC playoffs and were looking forward to resting their bodies for the upcoming season. This was some much needed downtime for everyone.

For Christmas, Elvin Enchant got the gift of being drafted by the Tijuana Luchadores in the first round. It was a bit early to be a gift for the holidays, but he couldn't have asked for something better the world could give to him. He spent the next few days still in his home state of Colorado, staying with his family there as he began to prepare for his trip to Tijuana. He stayed for Christmas, celebrating it with his family and friends and having a huge party. Everyone he knew he invited, holding a big holiday celebration, knowing it would be his last here for a while. Once the day was over though, all gifts exchanged, all byes said, he finally got his stuff and left for the airport. He arrived early morning on the day after Christmas in Tijuana, where some Luchadore staff greeted him and took him to the training facility, where the rest of his teammates came for a simple orientation. There wasn't much done that day besides some introductions, or greetings between those who knew each other already; everyone left fairly quickly for their homes, including Elvin, ready for the first practice of his NSFL career the next day.
