Yo! Whats up? So you want to know what I keep in my locker, eh? Well, I am German so I keep a German flag in there for good luck. I also like to keep it smelling funky fresh so I keep several air fresheners in there so it always smells like fresh picked cherries. I like to read a lot so I also always keep several books in there. My iPod is also a must in my locker so I can get hype before my games.

The coaching staff doesn’t like this but I also keep a small george foreman grill in my locker so I can cook my pre-game sausages. They think its dangerous. I think its a great source of protein and keep me energy packed for big games all day long. I also have a micro fridge I keep all my food fresh with. You never know when hunger will strike and you might need a sausage.

Aside from that, I keep several pairs of street clothes in there as well. The locker room can be a home away from home sometimes during the season so I like to make sure I’m always ready for any occasion be it formal or not so formal.

The locker room for a football player is the equivalent to a college safe space. The locker room is where you prepare yourself for the upcoming game and where cool down from today’s adventure. Johnathon Saint considers his locker his home away from home. In it, he has the usual; cleats, gloves, pads. But what separates his locker from others is what he brings from home. The first thing is his humongous pack of big league chew gum. When asked about it Johnathon Saint said that it helps him focus on the game. The bigger the wad the more he is honed in on what he needs to. If you watch closely during the game you can clearly see the water boy give Saint a fresh wad when he is on the sideline. The next thing he has in his locker is the newest issue in the Daredevil comic line. It’s no secret that The Man Without Fear is Johnny Saint favorite superhero. After every game to calm himself down he reads the life and times of Matthew Murdock through the comic book pages. Mr. Saint also brings Mortal Kombat XL to the locker room to help him prepare for the game. Mr. Saint says he uses the brutal fatalities in Mortal Kombat to bring out his inner ferocity in the game. One of nicest players in the league off the field, on the field he is looking to Spine Rip every single one of his opponents.

What have I got in my locker other than my gear?

Of all the questions you could have picked you chose that one? Whatever, I did say "ask me anything." Well there's a family picture, one of my boyfriend and one of my dog ... Christ that makes me sound dull as fuck!

I suppose you care more about the unique stuff anyway, it'd be a mighty boring answer if I only talked about puppy pictures or college mementos. The focal point of the locker is my now notorious Sugar Baby dispenser, the one that Bailey's dumbass screwed with. Behind it is full-length Maryland flag and flanking it are twin images of the Baltimore flag. If you're familiar with the two flags you know that's a bit redundant*, but what can I say, I'm a Baltimore boy through and through.

Outside of the decorative stuff, there are usually a couple books lying around and a screenplay that I suspect will remain perpetually "in-progress." The life of the NSFLs best LB doesn't leave much time for writing unfortunately.

...

OH! I'm also of the belief that personal property is a social construct. Even though I was assigned a locker, I'm rather free with using the lockers that "belong" to other people. You gotta go as the spirit moves you and no one locks the fuckers anyway. It got to the point that, by Week 4 of last season there was a running bet on where my pads would end up post-game.

Well, there you have it. And yes, you could have asked a much better question.

*The Baltimore flag is essentially the upper left quadrant of the Maryland State flag with a monument emblem.
