The Colorado Yeti segment their locker room by player group.
The QB's sit between the Oline and the Wide receivers, The linebackers sit next to the defensive backs etc.

As such, given Luke Tiernan's recent positional change, a change of locker has accompanied this.

None the less, Tiernan has find time to make the locker his.

On the back wall of the locker is the following motivational quote in large white writing on a black backgruond:

"Hard work beats talent, when talent doesn't work hard".

The quote is sometimes attributed to highschool coach Tom Noetke and other times to basketball superstar Kevin Durant, it came before the eyes of the footballing world when it was regularly repeated by flash in the pan QB Tim Tebow.

On the inside of the door is a photograph of Tiernan's family attached with blu tack, his mother - Mary, his sister - Saoirse, and his recently deceased Father - Tadhg.

Apart from the usual safety equipment, clothes etc, Tiernan has a small moleskin notepad which he uses to jot down his goals and his learning from the days practice. Like clockwork after every session, it's the first thing he turns to after he get's out of the shower.

The only other thing of note in this pristine locker is the stack of cd's:
  • All Saints - All Saints
  • Backstreet Boys - The Very Best of the Backstreet Boys
  • Spice Girls - The best of the Spice Girls
  • Various Artists - Now that's what I call the 90's

Every locker in professional football has a small safe built into it. This is for players to store expensive jewelry, wads of cash, and other things of that nature. Unless you're Angus Winchester. Angus Winchester's safe is filled with weapons.

"Sig Sauer P227, full-sized frame, double stack magazine holds 10 rounds of 45 ACP." Winchester describes his pistol as he removes it from the safe, "Here in California you can't have a magazine with a capacity larger than 10 rounds, so obviously you go for the bigger caliber weapon." Obvious to him, maybe, not so obvious to us or the rest of the members of the Orange County Otters. "This one fits great in my hands and conceals well on the hip."

But that isn't all Winchester has with him, as he continues to unload the safe. "This one is my deep carry, fits into a pocket holster." He tells us as he pulls a small pistol out next, "The Ruger LCP holds 6 rounds of .380 and is smaller than my hand, I wouldn't want to use it in a firefight, but it's better than nothing."

It didn't stop there either. "I also keep a revolver in an ankle holster. This is my S&W M686 with a 4" barrel chambered in .357 mag." Winchester smiles as he straps the holster onto his ankle and pulls a boot over it.

"Anything else?" I ask, although I really don't want to know the answer.

"Sure!" He exclaimed, nodding his head. "I've got a 4" folding knife here, a pair of brass knuckles, a can of pepper spray, a few different boxes of ammo, some JHPs, some FMJs, some SJSPs, you get the idea. Ummmm, oh a box of condoms, other kind of protection you know? And my level IIIA kevlar vest."

I was shocked that I missed the bulletproof vest hanging right there in his locker. "Why do you have all of this?" I finally asked Winchester.

"Because he's out of his Goddamn mind!" I turn around to see wide receiver Bradley Westfield standing behind us. "You weigh 350 damn pounds and are probably the strongest guy in the entire state, but you walk around armed like you ready for World War III. You just a crazy damn hillbilly."

I can't say I disagree with Westfield.

My locker is very organized. Everything has a specific spot where it should be. A photo of my family is on the inside of the door, to remind me of home. Headphones are essential, you need some hype music before games. Besides that, the essentials are there. A comb, some deodorant, some cologne. You gotta look good after all. I also keep a copy of my original scouting report, as well as a list of draft picks from the season 2 draft, to remind myself where I was taken and how many players were above me. I also keep a few snacks there, but don't let coach know. Just gotta have some chips and chocolate before and after games! Besides that I also keep a tablet there, to have some other forms of entertainment to calm down before and after the game. I love stand up comedy and random youtube videos to relax after a hard game. It also helps to stay in touch with family overseas, who may be watching the games and worried about my health. The last thing I keep in my locker is the game Cards against humanity, so that me and my teammates can have some fun and play some silly games in the locker room after stressful games outside.

Drew Davidson’s locker looks like a bomb went off in it.

“That’s how I’ve always been,” the Liberty’s DE said. “My mom wouldn’t even open the door to my bedroom unless she absolutely had to. It was always a mess”

Strewn about the area are several sets of headphones (broken or mangled one way or another), some LEGO models (“I like doing them in my off time, it helps me clear my mind”), a handful of CDs (I know everyone else has that stuff on their phone, but I like to have the actual music there physically, you know?) and pictures of the DE’s family members, friends, and some local celebrities from Philly and back home (many framed, few hung).
You won’t find garbage or old clothes in there, though; he learned in college that that sort of thing attracts the wrong sort of attention.

“Yeah, I got ribbed pretty good about that back at Michigan; now its still a mess, but at least it’s a fairly sterile one. I don’t even eat by the locker any more if I can avoid it.”

While he’s far from the only slob in the room, he’s probably the worst. Lets just hope that he keeps his play on the field cleaner than the locker he uses every day.

Your locker is your shrine, your personal space, your temple, your home away from home, so sprucing it up with personal touches is a must. See mine, whether it's before a game, after a game, or before or after practice, serves as a place to get my head right. A place to unwind. So I need the vibe just right. My wife is all about like peace with yourself and shit, and she thinks it'll positively affect my place, so I've taken some pieces from my at-home "meditation corner" and built one for myself within my locker. Basically, I open my locker and I can extend some pulleys and a mini canopy to sit under and meditate. It's really zen. I've even got some incense to burn and three diffusers. I like to keep the locker stocked with essential oils and I'll switch them out in the diffusers depending on the day, the game, the mood, all that. Lotta the guys dog on me because of my "Buddha shit", but I'm tellin' you, it gets your mind right. It clears out the bad mojo and I get uber-focused. The rest melts away and my body is in-tune, ready to hit the field at full capacity. If anyone wants help installing their own locker meditation zone, hit me up. Gotta keep that zen focus on deck, ya feel me?

Like several other football players, Ian Bavitz's locker contains more than just football paraphernalia, but several personal items as well.

Bavitz has plastered the walls of his locker with posters of women in various poses and states of undress. He holds a degree in art, so he claims the posters are for the aesthetic and artistic qualities. At the very least, even a naked eye can spot that the photographs are all well-lit with obvious centers of attention.

What most people fail to realize however, is that the two most prominently centered posters show evidence of being removed from the wall and placed back in their original spot. Only a trained eye would notice that there are actually two layers of posters in those spots.

Bavitz chooses to keep these a secret due to the extremely pornographic nature and subject of the photos. Hidden behind the promonently displayed photos lie Bavitz's most cherished pictures. He took them during a wild weekend in Chicago during the off season. The subject in the pictures just so happen to be of one of his sexual conquests, and he can think of a certain teammate that would be extremely offended if he were to see them. The woman in the photo is Leroy Jenkins' mother. The Co-GM of the Otters would likely seek vengeance if he were to find out about Bavitz's favorite lay.

Bavitz arrives the earliest and leaves the latest at the team facilities so that he can have a few moments to gaze upon his most beautiful piece of artistry.

Dan's locker generally just has football gear or holds personal belongings during practice. Generally the only things kept are some additional items such as: toothbrush, deodorant, contacts, contact solution, contacts case and items of that nature.
Unrelated to that, there is only one other item. It's a picture of a small grey dog. It's a short tailed half Poodle half Bichon Frise and looks like it weighs about 10 pounds.

It's funny that this massive guy that's well over 300 pounds has this tiny cute little dog. He's often had to take a few minutes at practice to call someone to pick her up and drop her off at the groomers. He brings the dog with him whenever he can and wherever he goes. Most candid photographs have him carrying her in a sling like he is some rich girl celebrity. He even tried convincing the coaching staff to be allowed to bring the dog to the sidelines for football games but was denied as it would be a distraction. At one point, the third string quarterback decided to vandalize the picture, so Dan decided to practice against the 3rd string that day. That QB was out for 2 weeks with severe bruising and hasn't done anything like that since.

Besides all my football gear, I have photos of every QB Ive never sacked, and every team Ive lost to. I do this to motivate myself to get onto the field, and never lose. I also have a nintendo switch, for when Im done after the game, and want to play some video games. As well as his ring he got for winning the ultimus with the outlaws. He also keeps a schedule for his season, and a calendar. Besides those most of what he has are very basic, with most of his personal belongings in his house in Arizona. I also like to keep fan sent mail, and other fan sent things, in my locker. this is to remind myself how far I've come, and how many people are behind me, and cheering for me every time I come out onto that field. The final thing I have in my locker, are 2 team photos. The Season 1 Outlaws, and the Season 2 Outlaws. Both remind me of the past and the future, and how both were and will be great teams, and championship winning teams. Just watch us, and we will show you, why even after all those player moves. We are still the best team in the NSFL.
