I'm curious, what's the point of keeping the equipment purchased, but then allowing it to apply to other equipment?

1.) To go and get the TPE amounts for all of the equipment
2.) and then figure out what other equipment you could apply it to.
with the end result as a redistribution.
I don't see how just full 100% TPE re-distribution isn't going to get a very similar if not the same result for much less work and headache.
Either way, we need to talk this over in the HO.

The reason there's a difference is the part of equipment that don't help. So for example I bought shoulder pads and want to keep shoulder pads. I have to use the TPE for tackling as opposed to being able to move it. I think this way is the perfect middle ground and doesn't give either party an advantage over the other.

I mainly just want to come to a consensus, but it seems to me being able to move equipment TPE even from previous updates kind of goes against the point of equipment being for specific attributes

Oh hot diggity that's actually pretty nice. I get to redistribute my S1 quarterback and kicker equipment TPE. It's only 1% of my total TPE but every little bit counts, right?

From my understanding, if you buy shoulder pads, you have to apply it to strength/tackling.
However if you redistribute the TPE from a position swap, the gear doesn't matter and you just worry about the TPE.
The reason for this is because this is not a common occurrence. Each player can only swap positions one time per career.

OK, so position switch, even normal 50% switches, allow you to move equipment TPE as well as other TPE?
