I was responding to a question about why some DEs were voted in as DTs. You seem to have missed some of the context of that.

You seem to have missed some of the context of that.No, I didn't miss any context (but I should say not the whole post was directed at you, more continuing the conversation) - would a TE who played WR all season be voted in as a WR under current rules? I'm just asking because the league needs consistency with awards/pro bowl voting across all positions and it kinda seems all over the place. It should be either the position you played through the season, or the position you're listed as - but not a mix of both in different parts of the roster.

For this previous season that TE would have been voted as a TE (despite efforts to change it immediately). Next season that should not be the case, pending more rule shifts. The rule separating DL is also brand new this season.
It is inconsistent currently because it is a work in progress that is in transition, pending the passing of new rules to cover it.
So like I said....context. If you're interested in being helpful in the process make sure to let your GMs know you'd like to be an award rep.

Pro bowl voting and hof voting should be a paid position that rewards careful consideration of stats as well as what ever other criteria is appropriate. Ballots should be public record too, so that obvious bias can be vetted.
I agree with you that voting results should be made public, but that won’t pass only because some people like to go and harass people based on how they vote which a lot of GMs do not want to deal with. I plan for as long as I am GM to be open and honest about my votes and if there are any issues to please direct your complaints to me either on here or on discord.
I did not vote for anything regarding NSFL as I wasn’t a part of GMing that year. When rules summit is announced, I will post how I voted on the thread. Personal bias is 100% involved when voting for Pro Bowls and award nominees/winners (Zamir and Ugarth being two key examples) and is something I want to stray away from during my tenure.
