My locker consists of a lot of normal things but it also has something most people would probably consider funny, but what I consider to be one of the most valuable things in the world to me. In my locker, I keep a small red teddy bear with "sasha" written across the stomach in small letters, and before you laugh or make fun of it....

...It was my sisters...

She gave it to me just minutes before she passed away in a car accident on the way to one of her dance recitals. I was only 14, she was 6. I have had it ever since. It means the world to me and I will keep it until the day I die. Next to it is the cutest picture of Sasha while she was riding her bike. It makes me smile everyday I open my locker. So joke and laugh all you want about it, but I have a teddy bear in my locker and i'm proud of it. It reminds me every single day that I am working my ass off for her and that I know she is watching over me all the time and rooting for me constantly. I do it all for Sasha.

In side Jordan Yates' locker are many things. Some, like the twix bar and poptarts, are just for a quick snack. Others, like a poster of Ric Flair, remind him of his childhood. Some even are just for entertainment during downtime, like his Ipad. But one item stands out from the others: his golden cross. As a child, Yates grew up in the fostercare system. By the age of five, he had already been in over ten homes. Most of the families were just looking to make a bit of miney by housing the children, but one family was different; the Smith's, a family from New York, gave Yates the loving enviornment he never had. When Yates was thirteen, he was kicked out of his fosterhome during a drug fueled rage by his psycho foster parent. He was alone, walking in the rain, when Mr. Smith drove by. Smith, a devout Christian, quickly offered Yates a ride to get out of the rain. Once in the car, Yates explained his story. The Smiths felt compassion for the young teenager and took him in. They cared for him, fed him, gave him a roof over his head, everything. They helped give him the oppritunity to play football in college. Unfortunately, during Yates' sophmore season in college, both Mr. and Mrs. Smith died in a tragic car accident. The cross was one of the first things they gave him, and it reminded him of how they truly had saved his life. He wears it everywhere he goes, even on the field, because for just a moment, it feels like they are still with him.

To me, the most important things you’ll find in my locker are pictures of my family back home. Traveling from southern Louisiana to Canada, it’s easy to miss my family back home and I try to keep them near and dear to me. My immediate family is front and center with a picture of my parents and younger sister, who is now a cheerleader at the High School I attended. I also have pictures of my nieces and nephews, who e-mail and FaceTime me to cheer me on from back home. It’s always a reminder of where I’ve come from and helps inspire me before games and practices.

I also keep newspaper article clippings of my games back home, along with a LSU logo towel gifted to me many years back from my days there. I love my team now, but I also appreciate my days back in school as a reminder of where I’ve come from. Besides, even though I like the challenge of the NSFL, I have to admit that part of me misses being the star of the team. It’s nice to look back and remember those good times as I work hard to earn a top spot on my new team.

For the young kicker Blewitt setting up his own identity is just as important as his performance as the NSFL level. Moving into his new digs at the Las Vegas arena he has finally been given his own locker to deck out how he seems fit. What does he have to really make it feel like his own? Well more than just a few items.

Being absolutely in love with his favourite series Star wars, he contains in his locker a few bit of fan fare to help lift his spirits. His new favourite 'Man Toy' is his Lego Poe Dameron X wing sitting a top of the locker to remind him to make his kicks soar. Hidden a bit, but still there if you look for it, is a picture of Daisy Ridley, who Blewitt admits he has a massive crush on, and can only hope to meet someday.

Next is some more personal effects to bring the love of home with him. A mini bottle of maple syrup is always present in his locker to remind him where he comes from and represents every game and to give him that extra canadian power he needs in dire times of need. Next is a lucky puck he received when he was younger and used to frequent OHL games with his parents. Lastly is a lasting memory of one of the people he lost in this life being his grandma who couldn't see his name be called to the podium of the NSFL, so he keeps a little stuffed scotty dog for her around.

Erasmo Broadway is pretty particular when It comes to what is in his locker. He can’t stand to have things out of place no matter where he’s at. If you were to randomly inspect his locker all you’d really find would be 6 full Cool Blue Gatorades at the bottom. On top of those would be a 24 count variety pack of corn nuts and a large bag of Harvest Cheddar Sun Chips. These are his favorite snacks and he’s always sure to have plenty on hand, especially after a tough practice.

On the top shelf, you’ll find a picture of his wife and child which he looks at before every away game. He also has a copy of a couple books including “How to Win Friends and Influence People” by Dale Carnegie, “The Illustrated Man” by Ray Bradbury, and “Welcome to the Monkey House” by Kurt Vonnegut. Broadway doesn’t find too much time to read but when he does, he always reaches for one of the aforementioned books.

The rest of his locker is filled with neatly organized (and clean) socks, jock straps, Under Armour shirts and compression shorts. Just your typical run-of-the-mill gear. Nothing special. I think a lot of people would be impressed with how organized a football player’s locker could be.

Scrub Kyubee's got a locker stall full of pictures. That's pretty much the gist of it. His locker has many pictures of women, whether it be Hayley Williams, Kate Upton, Miley Cyrus, Devin Brugman, Alexandra Daddario, Melanie Iglesias, Megan Fox, Lauren Cohan, or many others.

Aside from that, you'll find some of his championship pictures from high school and college, where he won in the NCAA pros. Not only that, but he has an autographed football from Tom Brady that he keeps in his locker, to draw inspiration from him and his many accolades that Kyubee wishes he could one day achieve in the NSFL. If Scrub Kyubee could even reach half of what Tom Brady has in the NFL, then he would be happy.

He also has his old ass football gloves from his championship winning throw in the NCAA. They smell a ton, and his teammates give him hell for it, but they're there. I doubt he'll ever wear them again, so who knows why he keeps the gloves. All they do is reek up his personal space.

On top of that, he has his old helmet from high school, that his dad bought for him which started his time playing football. Once that helmet was bought for him, that's when things really started, at least in his eyes.

Being a rookie, I thought for sure I was going to get a garbage locker. The first time I walked into our locker room, I saw what had to have been to worst spot for a locker ever, a few measly feet from the bathroom stalls, and just knew it was mine. I was wrong. It was actually empty until about a week ago when they stuck Boom in it, poor guy… he seems to be adjusting to it though. Luckily mine is about twenty feet further from the stalls and nowhere near as close to ground zero.

The first thing you’ll notice about my locker is that it’s relatively clean. Some of my teammates (especially on the offense side) have lockers packed with non-sense, but I just can’t live like that. On the top shelf, I have a photo of my wife and son to remind myself what I’m working for. Next to that I have my deodorant and some ear buds. I’ve never been a headphones type of guy, too big and bulky. Last item on the shelf would be my tablet, which I use mainly for game film… and a little gaming. Below that, hanging from the rail, I have my jersey hanging next to the clothes I wore in and a dark grey suit with a few different ties to choose from. I used to always catch flak from my college teammates about my suit at the post-game interviews, but we get paid to be professionals, might as well look like one too. On the bottom shelf, I keep my contact case with solution and a spare pair, and my glasses in a case. The last thing I have in my locker is a bottle of Body Armor, lemonade flavor. I used to struggle with cramping in the 2nd half of games my sophomore year and ever since I tried this stuff, never again.

Well, that about covers it. I know it’s not too exciting, but, welcome to my locker.

In my locker I have a list of each starting QB in the NSFL. I plan to cross the names off the list after I sack each and every one of them. I also have a couple items to help get extra motivated and pumped up for the game. I have my laptop where I watch the epic battle scenes from 300 and I have a world class sound system where I blast hard rock that makes the walls shake. Some players like to stay quiet and kind of meditate before games, not me. Everything I do is chaotic, on and off the field. From throwing offensive lines into disarray to starting mosh pits in the locker room. Next up, one of the most important things for me is a pre game meal. I am a 320 pound fat slob so you know I need to have something to eat quite regularly. On the top shelf of my locker I have a microwave placed up there. I have boxes of graham crackers, chocolate bars, and marshmallows. I make and eat about twenty of those smores before every game so it fills me up with a great sugar rush. After that I'm ready to make any offensive lineman look like a turnstile. (211)
