I'd say its maybe a Pythons head with a Cobras body? It has a bit of an identity crisis and isn't ready to be labeled.

Really though if it looks that much like a Cobra ill see if we can get it changed. I didn't really notice tbh but I can see it.

A cobra is in the Elapidae family and viper is Viperidae family (yes I just looked all this up on Wikipedia) so really it's not a viper at all in your logo, just a purple cobra.
Honestly I think the logo is still good though and usable.

Hahaha no worries nor am I. No rush with changing anything. If folks think it looks like a Cobra we could maybe just go with the name Portland Cobras?

Hood, but even then you still have the fangs which are indicative of a venemous snake, and pythons are constrictors. But I still think we're nitpicking and it looks awesome.
