A New King Takes the Throne - katarn22 - 08-24-2021

If you are reading this, then it means I have stepped down as GM of the London Royals.

This was a fantastic opportunity to see how things work and I obviously want to thank a few people.

Thank you to @Sylphreni and @Highhaschdi for drafting me to the Royals. I'm not sure I would have stuck around otherwise.

Thank you to @Maglubiyet and @abh89 for putting your faith in me to co-lead this wonderful franchise.

Thank you to @slate for being a great co-GM and an even better friend. It was an honor to GM alongside you and raise an Ultimini trophy together.

Thank you to @Luciddreams702 for stepping up this past season and joining me at the helm. I know it was a rough season but I know you have the knowledge and drive to bounce back.

Thank you to @Sebster for saying yes and taking my spot as the next London GM. I know you and Lucid are going to do great things.

Thank you to the ISFL community in general for your support and hospitality these past four seasons. Being a GM was never something I did alone, and many of you out there helped me out along the way.

And thank you to all the rookies who I spoke with during my 4 seasons at London's helm. Honestly and truly, my favorite part of GM-ing was getting to speak to all of you during scouting conversations and even during the season. Being able to get to know you and watch you integrate into the ISFL is an awesome experience.

Great choice in replacement, but I'll be sad to see one of the best DSFL GMs stepping down. I know you'll do a great job in continuing to mentor Seb, and any new Royals that come your way.

Katarn it’s been an honor man. Thank you for everything. I’m sure my 1000 questions are what pushed you into retirement but I appreciate you. Only wish I could have helped to send you off with a better ending. Beyond sad to see you leave I think we had some things to achieve still. Stoked for Seb and can’t wait to get to work with you.

Thanks for everything that you helped me with while I was in London. Its truly appreciated.
