Passing attempts + sacks gives an even better representation on what the offenses play call was.[/div] [div align=\\\"center\\\"] ![]() *Pass / Run Tendencies - manicmav36 - 10-16-2017 This is good stuff, nice work! I find it interesting that in season 3, the two teams with the best records were also the most balanced. Then again, the two most unbalanced teams also made the playoffs so... never mind. *Pass / Run Tendencies - kckolbe - 10-16-2017 Liberty in S3 was all that really surprised me. They've asked a lot from a rookie qb. *Pass / Run Tendencies - Perry87 - 10-16-2017 Interesting piece. Id like to see these stats used in a adjusted sack rate *Pass / Run Tendencies - iamslm22 - 10-16-2017 (10-16-2017, 10:48 AM)kckolbe Wrote:Liberty in S3 was all that really surprised me. They were SO pass heavy despite having a QB who wasn't all that great (DSFL excluded) *Pass / Run Tendencies - kckolbe - 10-16-2017 (10-16-2017, 10:12 AM)iamslm22 Wrote:Didn't really shock me since they kind of did the same to Christ last year. This year that wasn't the case. *Pass / Run Tendencies - iamslm22 - 10-16-2017 (10-16-2017, 12:29 PM)kckolbe Wrote:They spent most of season 2 losing, so they had to pass more. But they were still so much above other teams, that I'm not so sure that was the only reason. *Pass / Run Tendencies - Molarpistols - 10-16-2017 (10-16-2017, 12:29 PM)kckolbe Wrote:They spent most of season 2 losing, so they had to pass more. In this sim, you get the ball at your own 20, down by 4 with 2:40 left and call 3 consecutive run plays with the dials cranked up as high as they go for pass ratio. *Pass / Run Tendencies - bovovovo - 10-16-2017 (10-16-2017, 12:46 PM)Molarpistols Wrote:You're giving the sim far too much credit here. Yeah I think the only time the sim really adjusts for game situation in any meaningful way is during the last 2 minutes of each half. And even then the tempo doesn't change I believe. *Pass / Run Tendencies - HENDRIX - 10-16-2017 (10-16-2017, 12:02 PM)Perry87 Wrote:Interesting piece.
