Angus Winchester
Offensive Lineman for the Orange County Otter standing at 6’6” Tall and a weight of 330LBS. This guy is the definition of a wall that’s 12 feet high 6 feet wide and 2 feet thick. Angus is dominating the NSFL as the top Offensive line man. The man has not allowed a sack this season! The man has 38 Pancakes in 8 weeks of play! This big meat of a man is taking Defensive Linemen chewing them up and spitting them out! I don’t know why the Otters don’t run the ball behind him every single play. That would be like the Otters running back walking behind a bulldozer right into the End Zone. Angus has also got some smack talking ability. The best part is his stats back it up. If I was Boss, or Bercovici I would be taking Angus out to dinner every week for not letting these big mean sack machines touch them.
Defenses do not have an answer for Angus. I believe the man can go a whole season without allowing a sack. Angus should just come out of the huddle with his bib around his neck, syrup in one hand, and fork in the other because he’s making pancakes. Endorsement deals from syrup and Pancake Company should be knocking at this man’s door. Now that I think of it, maybe I will go into the pancake business, “Angus Pancakes.”
So let’s Dive into week 9 where there was some smack talk around the league on how Dental Dam and Jayce Tuck were going up against Angus Winchester. Jayce Tuck the leading the league in Sacks with 11. Dental Dam leading the league in Beers drunk in one sitting (34). Then there is Angus Winchester and we already know about Angus. Looking at the stats on a game Similar to their first match up, Mike Boss Tossing INT after INT to his best Wide Receiver on the other team. Angus did not allow a sack, again! Week 1 Angus had 6 pancakes and week 9 he had 5. Tuck had 1 tackle for loss in week 1 and in week 9 had 0. Dental Dam was over there probably there lying on the grass trying to get a tan because he doesn’t have a tackle against the Meat wall of Winchester. Dental Dam was more of a supporting cast trying to take out Winchesters legs so Tuck could run out and get a sack. Only problem is Winchesters legs are like tree stumps and I think Dam has a concussion from hitting that stump with his head.
Even with a lights out performance by THE BEST OFFENSIVE LINEMAN IN THE LEAGUE. The Water Rats continue to shoot themselves in the foot. Mike Boss with 4 Interceptions, That’s 2 less than these teams first match up. Do I smell and improvement? The Outlaws Could easily gave up this game with the lack of pressure on the QB with only 3 sacks, and a poor Blocking job by the Offensive Line giving up 7 sacks! 2 of the sacks were to a Free Safety back to back.. The Outlaws ended up winning this game 7- 19 and I don’t think Angus could do much more. The Otters have a ton of talent with a wall of and Offensive line, then you add Angus Winchester and your Quarterback should have all the time in the world to make smart passes. If the Otters can rally up and run behind did I say BEST OFFENSIVE LINEMAN in the league. They have a real chance at something with this franchise even with all the GM drama that’s been going around the league. I think they have it all figured out they just need to iron out a few pieces.
