From: @JuOSu:
1. So many things could be included here, I really enjoyed this player whole 13 (soon to be record 14th) season career. From the day I joined on the waivers the DSFL winning the Ultimini with San Antonio Marhsalls in my only year down in the minors (also my first ever sim league trophy and awards came there).
Soon after getting drafted 3rd OA (again, so far had been drafted 3rd OA in several separate drafts: PBE, NSFL, SHL, SBA, NSHL, hopefully I'll improve that position on next opportunity
). Another highlight, while maybe not entirely pleasant was being part of blockbuster NOLA-OCO trade, which was probably the biggest story-line I use occasionally up to this day to torment @speculadora and other otters.
If I were to choose single moment it'd be S11 and Ultimus game, where Fyodo was leading the charge with 4 touchdown game while also playing the defense in his only two-way season en route to the Second Line second title.
In terms of achieving everything I hoped for it's tale of two career parts, first which was utterly disappointing was playing as corner-back where stats eluded me so much that it coined term Fyodo/Maj's luck (@White Cornerback making frequent use of it) e.g. having max earning player but completely not showing up in terms of interceptions - throughout 70 games as DB I got just 7 INTs (though there was one rare 3 INT game, but this also means in the rest of 69 games I got whole 4 INT - less than single per season...). I was close to retiring, but thanks to some talks from @bovovovo I didn't pull through with it.
Instead decided to switch to WR prior to S11 (and honestly should have done it far earlier...) and looking back it I think Fyodo has a claim for best WR during S11-S18 era, outside of this season he was always pro-bowler, S12-S15 easily Top 3, especially in S12 with 1637 rec yards, which is by far best result since S5 and that earned Fyodo Offensive player of the Year honors - the biggest individual achievement of his career.
As for the goals - at the time of switch I had 5 seasons wasted of stats, because of playing other position, so it will be huge if what milestones I could've gotten to, instead I aimed to get to the 10k rec yards in the remaining years of my career, which was quite ambitious given I had only 8 seasons to get there. 9742 rec yards is where I stand currently 8 seasons later, but thankfully to timely rule change I have one more year and hopefully even playing as #4 WR (can't ask for more with ~250 TPE), will be enough to join 10k club in what I guess will be (or close to it) record breaking time. Will be really interesting HoF case I gather when it's all done, since it's not usual career, but I feel like I earned being at least part of conversation with dominant WR part of the career and likely the longest ever career (which also took a ton of effort to fight regression for as long as possible - losing every season over 300 TPE isn't pleasant) - still he'll probably be only Top 10 in several categories, despite games longevity the argument will be more centered about being most dominant WR in his time.
2. Certainly more thought will go into it, since when I joined NSFL I knew nothing about the football - like literally, I knew the sport existed but have never watched a single game nor knew players/rules. Almost two years later I have better picture both of the sport and the sim and sort of limited to choice to following positions: QB, OL, WR & S/LB. The final choice will either come to position demand (I plan to talk to GMs about it) or dice roll if I won't have time to do proper research, QB probably is too saturated and I'm wary of OL, since it's barely stats heavy and still has some sort of stigma, despite apparently being on of the most impactful position sim-wise. WR is an obvious choice, since I know how to build one and really enjoyed my career, S/LB combo is super powerful and isn't as luck related to stats as playing CB, though my contracts for sure would have had clause to never put me in that dreaded position. The goals would be to chase career records, so this time I'd aim to stay at single position for biggest chance at it. I don't mind going to rebuilding team and actually enjoy building from the scratch much more than joining contender and riding on others coattails - that said I'd love to spend entire career with one team and given my sim league history potential GM would be rather safe to count on my loyalty, but as with everything it's two-way street. Despite Fyodo-Otters controversy I don't have any no-go-to list that would eliminate any potential teams.
3. This may come as bit of a surprise, since PBE streams are fantastic, but I actually watch more often the NSFL games, since it's easier to allocate 10 minutes than an hour to see my player there, and while graphics are not comparable at all I weirdly enjoy seeing my player round circle with number #77 breaking tackles and receiving touchdowns. NSFL is also the likeliest one for me to recreate after PBE, since I decided this won't be the case for me in many other leagues (like SBA/EFL). As for making league more fun it's tough ask, since you can't do much more sim-wise with current engine so as probably overwhelming majority wish for better game being developed to replace this potato. Some more ways to earn money would be cool too, since even that I enjoy making research for articles I kind of hit block despite having some good material for continuing the redraft series or developing HoF standards. Community events would be nice way to get in touch with newer people, as I have trouble recognizing and rarely interact with newer guard of users outside of my own locker room.

1. Just trying to outlast Verso L'Alto (and other long-timers before him) as the longest tenured player of S7 class and maybe even in league history and it seems I might finally get there in S19. To be completely honest I'm surprised I made it this far with this player and some credit should go to your manager, as some of the good conversations about WR switch were made with him, which I'm grateful for.
From @ValorX77:
I need to retire first and proper thank yous, career summary etc. will come then, but the plan is basically is to get as good as possible for final season (tough spending on full equipment just for (hopefully) 16 games seems silly) and retire on S19 trade deadline, which I gather would make S21 recreate, so prepare your picks for that draft
.
From @slothfacekilla :
1. Damn, now we are talking, there is so many of them so instead let's give you some good recipes as food for thought, let's start with beloved cabbage rolls my grandma still makes often for Saturday dinner, you are going to need: 2/3 cup water, 1/3 cup uncooked white rice, 8 cabbage leaves, 1 pound lean ground beef, 1/4 cup chopped onion, 1 egg slightly beaten, 1 teaspoon salt, 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper, 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed tomato soup. In a medium saucepan, bring water to a boil. Add rice and stir. Reduce heat, cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Bring a large, wide saucepan of lightly salted water to a boil. Add cabbage leaves and cook for 2 to 4 minutes or until softened; drain.
In a medium mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, 1 cup cooked rice, onion, egg, salt and pepper, along with 2 tablespoons of tomato soup. Mix thoroughly.
Divide the beef mixture evenly among the cabbage leaves. Roll and secure them with toothpicks or string.
In a large skillet over medium heat, place the cabbage rolls and pour the remaining tomato soup over the top. Cover and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to low and simmer for about 40 minutes, stirring and basting with the liquid often.
Okay we covered my grandma recipe, time to see something my mom loves doing and maybe it's not overly local cuisine it's as delicious as grandmas cabbage rolls, let me introduce you to Crab Cucumber Kani Salad Recipe:
In a bowl, mix together the ingredients for the homemade spicy mayo. Whisk together the mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar, Sriracha and salt until creamy.
Cut the cucumber into thin julienned pieces.
Pull apart the crab meat into thin strands.
In a bowl, combine the cucumbers and crab. Pour dressing and mix. Top salad with Panko breadcrumbs.
What I really enjoy on later summer evenings after working all day in the field (despite being IT proffessional I'm spending my summer holiday as combain harvester drive on the family farm) is lasagna and home baked pizza, you are going to need: One 28-oz. can whole peeled tomatoes, 2 anchovies, 2 garlic cloves, 6 tablespoons olive oil, 1/4 cup basil leaves, Salt, Pepper, 12 ounces fresh mozzarella, grated, Grandma-Style Pizza Dough.
Drain one 28-oz. can whole peeled tomatoes and pulse tomatoes with 2 anchovies, 2 garlic cloves, 6 tablespoons olive oil, and 1/4 cup basil leaves in a food processor or blender until mostly smooth (some texture is okay); season with salt and pepper.
Put It All Together:
A classic Grandma-just sauce and mozzarella-flips the usual script: Add cheese before sauce. Master this basic pie and you're ready to improvise (see below for ideas).
Classic Mozzarella Pie:
Place a rack in lower third of oven and preheat to 525° or as high as oven will go.
Once Grandma-Style Pizza Dough has risen on baking sheet, top with 12 ounces fresh mozzarella, grated, and dot pie with 1 1/2 cups Fresh Tomato Pizza Sauce. Bake pie until golden brown and crisp on bottom and sides, 20-30 minutes.
That Topping Game
When it comes to toppings, restraint is key. "It's all about ratio," Pinello says. "You want them to work with the crust, the sauce, the cheese—in balance." We'll even lose the sauce sometimes to make white pies. Four of our favorite ways to go Grandma (as pictured above): provolone, red onion, and black olives; roasted cauliflower, ricotta, and breadcrumbs; mozzarella, fennel, and spicy soppressata; and marinated tuscan kale, ricotta, and mozzarella.
2. I think I pretty much elaborated on that topic, especially the second part answering to Juosu in the first part of the presser. There are quite a few regrets, some where I'm at fault and others where it was out of my hands, like I really wanted to spend a whole career with one team, but got traded and some bad reactions stemmed from that. I'd love to take back my smack about Austin GMs during resim debacle, where I bashed AdamS without putting any thought and just lashing out, same with some other juicy inducing drama threads like finding multiple Otters TPE discrepancies which resulted in current ADwyer signature quote. And probably sticking with single position entire career and choosing something else at the start.
3. Thank you & appreciated, let's get that bread in S19 and finally usurp Otters as it seems NOLA was only team that was able to stop their reign of terror for full 4 seasons.
From @IsaStarcrossed
1. I know it might be a rather meme question, but actually love the underdog to contender mentality NOLA completed once after rebranding from Legion and making 4 straight ultimus finals in S8-S11. We are once again nearing this nice transformation after 7 seasons long playoff drought next year will be the year. The Locker Room is one of the best I've ever been and rather drama free. Last but not least we are only that successfully eliminated Otters 4 straight seasons in a row, let's resurrect that streak going into the future. There is big sense of camaraderie, endless meme article, memorable trial process and ton of other things that made this place unique, whether the team was on top or not. Really proud to represent the team my almost whole career and to go back there for the final season. We have great group there and looking forward what the team will become and would be really great to return there with my future player.
2. That's a tough question, I still feel like I was robbed of one team career with Otters, but certainly after having hindsight wouldn't think about redoing that with going back to the Orange County. During my biggest free agency (After S10) I had extended talks with teams and was the only time I ever considered leaving NOLA, if some other team offered my QB job (I was in my peak with ~1k TPE, so that'd be huge boost), but no team bite the bullet as teams were staffed and didn't want to offend/switch their current teams, and after long talks only NOLA gave that green light, but it wasn't right to rob Borkus of GOAT career and instead I settled for WR. Of the teams involved best lasting impression was left by the Yeti and I kind of think despite their perennial troubles I'd enjoy the similar underdog mentality being part of that franchise. I like being part of expansion teams as well, so if I was starting recently then I'd feel either Chicago or Austin would have been decent landing spots as well. Actually I don't have any team I wouldn't want to really land and so will be my attitude to the all of them when recreate time will come.
3. So many of them - in S7 when I joined S1 generation was peaking and it was rather hard couple of years as defensive back, and for sure Dermot Laveller Sr. was something you were looking at as best defensive player and it was a shame we only faced off against other never joining forces. From younger generations Danny Grithead would be gigantic pickup for NOLA, but sadly he ended up on Otters, though thankfully bolted from there to Yellowknife. I'd love to be paired with another great WR during my prime, but sadly efforts to convince Oles to come to the Second Line never succeeded. Never played with any great S7 players like V'Alto, Miller or Applehort either, and only spend my rookie year with Brown (actually he might have been down in the DSFL that year).
