Was there a feeling in the locker room that this could be the year to get over the hump?

Absolutely. All the pieces felt like they were in place, we felt like we could really compete with the teams at the top for once. We just didn't play like it when it mattered.

What does the team need to take that next step?

We've got to start winning games that people say we shouldn't. We didn't win against Baltimore or Yellowknife all year, and even one win against either of those teams would have changed the dynamic of the conference.

When you have a tough loss like this to end the season, do you watch the game film right away or hold off?

I have no intention of watching the game film from that one. I know I made mistakes, but the season is behind us now. No reason to prepare for a team that probably won't look the same next season.

Whats your squat 5 rep max at?

Off the top of my head? I couldn't tell you. You'll have to catch me in the gym some time.

What are you going to do in the offseason to bring more thumps?

I feel stronger and faster now than I ever have, but I just don't feel like I move well enough. I'm trying to build that agility, increase my range, hopefully that increases my impact.

You were a free agent this past off season and you signed three year deal with a TO in the last year. Does an early exit in the playoffs put any doubts in your mind on your choice to stay with the Yeti?

I know this team has all the pieces we need to succeed going forward, so not a doubt in my mind. They might not feel the same way, but I'm planning to be here to bring home the Ultimus someday.

How much chicken is involved? If any, waffles. If none, pancakes.

Donuts or Cupcakes?

What time of day is it? The earlier it is, the more I prefer a donut. But later, I'll have a cupcake.

Ice Cream or Milkshakes?

Milkshakes. They're better to grab and go.

So, I guess you’ve had a good season(more invested in food). Does Bubba plan to open a restaurant in the future?

Maybe once my playing days are over. I feel I could be somewhat successful in the restaurant business.
