Hello! Ok, well, I wanted to do a quick media so I can kind of introduce my player to the league and, in particular, to the GMs. If there ends up being a 1.5x media bonus, I'd like to have this included in that since its basically a draft/ player development profile for my new player, Immanuel Blackstone.

Immanuel Blackstone was born in his childhood home in Dearborn, Michigan on April 22, 2014. He remains devoted to his mother, Anastasia Blackstone, an immigration lawyer, and his father, Solomon Al-Farabi, a automobile computer technician. Immanuel Blackstone has three older half siblings who were born to his father in Palestine, and three younger siblings who, like him, were born in Dearborn, Michigan, after Solomon Al-Farabi immigrated to the United States and married Anastasia Blackstone.
Blackstone was also raised as a devout Muslim facilitated by the like-minded community of his home town. He continues to practice his religious beliefs faithfully despite deep cultural contention. According to my research, this makes him only the second Muslim player in the history of the NSFL. The only other Muslim player in the NSFL, Khalifa Al Mahrouqi, was likely the league's first bust and first inactive player drafted (20th overall to the Baltimore Hawks in the league's inagural draft) after he was the second player to retire. I wasn't in the league at that time, so someone else might be able to correct me, but that's what my research turned up. Regardless, since he didn't pass 50tpe and Blackstone already has, it should be an easy bar to hurdle.
Blackstone went on to play for Notre Dame. Most recently he was picked up on waivers by the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers to finish out the S19 season.
What about where Blackstone will play and what type of player he will be? Well, that's a good question. First, if you knew me before I went IA for a couple of months, you'll know that I was hyper active and my previous player, Verso L'Alto was a max earner. Blackstone almost certainly won't be. That's why I chose a position like DE where you don't need to be. Also, that was what I played in high school (most of the time) so I have a soft spot for the position. So, anyway, Blackstone will be good, but he won't be like 1500tpe good. He's a balanced build, but I've considered switching over to power rusher at some point. I'll probably want to reach out to someone experienced to talk that one through, but since I doubt I'll be a max earner it probably doesn't matter anyway. So far though, I've started out by earning every bit of tpe I can. Its all gone to speed and strength. I know how to build a good player, but I'm always open to advice from my GMs. Here's my player page: link, and here's my update page: link.
I also definitely won't be as involved as I used to be as a user. As of right now I don't have any league jobs and that's fine with me. Ive got 50M in the bank so that won't be an issue for a while. Because of that, though, I might end up looking for a job and/or demanding a little more money when it comes time for the NSFL draft. I don't know yet.
Ok on to what team I want to play for! I've had two DSFL GMs reach out to me so far, so I figured I'd make it easier for the rest and let them know my thoughts. My last player played for the Tijuana Luchadores and, although he went straight to the NSFL, I stayed on as the GM of the Luchadores. We sucked back then (S5-S6). But I ended up being a GM of the Lucha for like 5 or 6 seasons and we dominated including having our first ever winning season as a team and then eventually winning three championships back to back to back (and appearing in 5 consecutive Ultiminis). Even after I left to be GM for the Hawks, I stayed on in the Lucha war room to advise the team here and there. Long story short, in the DSFL I only want to play for the Luchadores. So DSFL GMS---DO NOT DRAFT ME (except for the Lucha GMs). Normally, I'd hate to see a request like this as a GM since players aren't supposed to demand where they go in the draft. But I know that you don't have to listen to my requests and you can draft me anyway--I'm not sure what I'd do in that situation at this point. But my thinking is that considering my history with the team, I'd like to think I'm close enough to a legacy pick (GMs often are) that it should be a reasonable request. I think it's even more reasonable given the extreme size and depth of this draft class. HOWEVER--- DSFL GMs, you can keep on eye on me and tell your NSFL GMs about me if you'd like. Blackstone will be happy to play anywhere in the NSFL. Although I love the Baltimore Hawks, I think it would be unreasonable for me to make the same kind of demands there. They are welcome to draft me as well, of course. I spent L'Altos career as a team friendly player--never really leaving and always taking the cheapest contract. I can say that this won't be the case for me this time around. I will leave if I want to and I will probably demand money. I've made a lot of friends in the league over time, so I want to try and play with them on a variety of teams and maybe do some ring hunting. I'm honestly not sure.
Of course, all this will be something I'll have to earn. There I'll have to be honest too. I'm in law school and last semester I was crazy busy. That's why I dropped off and tbh I hated it. I think if I prioritize my time better I'll have a chance to be a moderate earner at least. So that's what I'm going to try and do, but there is always the chance that my activity drops and I just can't do it. Especially around finals time (April to mid-May).
Well, on that note, I just want to say that I'm super happy to be back and chat with yall. I'm to see the league didn't fall apart in two seasons lol. I'll try to do another big media piece like this to give an update and maintain some transparency around the end of the season before the S21 draft. By then I'll hopefully have a better idea of how active I can be during law school and have a better idea of how I want to play out my player.
Thanks yall for reading! Sorry I made this so long but also not really sorry because I wanted the money.
