The Hawks trounce the Wraths at home 45- 28

The Wraiths were out to an early lead after the 1st quarter up 14 to 7. The Hawks would roar back soaring 31 unanswered points on the backs of four touchdowns by Corvo Havran. That would go on to carry them to an easy victory.

Liberty was able to spoil the Yeti’s home opener in a close game. Liberty struggled to get anything going on the ground. Running back, Sam Torenson, was held to 2.9 YPC, but still racked up 35 carries. Venus Powers was the difference-maker for Philadelphia, going 4/4 with FG’s and two punts inside the 20. Colorado struggle to get anything going on the ground and wasted any amazing effort by James Bishop, who had 7 catches 106 yards and a touchdown.
Butchers chop Outlaws 29-23 at home

The Butcher came out ahead after a crazy second quarter that saw both teams put up 16 points. The Outlaws had no issues moving the ball through the air as Jay Cue racked up 354 yards passing. Three Outlaw receivers had over a 100 yards receiving. Rose Jenkins was even more effective for Chicago throwing for 386 yards. The true star of the day was Ryan Leaf Jr. Leaf Jr., had a rushing touchdown a return touchdown and added 89 receiving yards on 4 catches. He was a force. Will have a lot of OPotY talk if he can keep up that level of performance. WR Ahri Espeeyeeseetee also had a great game going for 150 yards on 6 catches. Lamount Mckinne for the outlaws had his work cut out with such an explosive offense. He was able to amass 12 tackles in a losing effort.
Otter blowout Sabercats 27-10

The Otter’s gave their fans all the fireworks they could ask for as they cruised to an easy victory over the Sabercats. Dan Wright for the Sabercats could not get anything going through the air, completing just 12/26 for 138 yards. Legendary cornerback, Kacey Dream, had 3 pass deflections as the Otters defense sacked Wright 3 times. Franklin Armstrong led a balanced offense to 269 yards through the air and two touchdowns. Otters get an easy win.
NOLA wins against the Defending Champs 34-26

Second Line was able to control the clock with their two-headed running back combo of Forrest Gump and Marcella Toriki. Both were a huge factor on the ground and through the air. Toriki averaged an eye-popping 7.3 ypc. Rod Tidwell had 109 yards for Austin. Takeda Okura added an interception for a touchdown, but it was not enough for the Copperheads.
