OMG This Thread should be called "Stat based NSFL Defensive-Prospects Analysis" but I can not change it. I'm stupid lmao
Okay, here I am back with my stat-based Analysis of the Defensive Players of the 21st DSFL season. Last time I evaluated the stats of the S22 NSFL-Draft prospects and how well they did in their first professional season.
We will have stats to every Week of the season and I’ll give my opinion to these.
Quick reminder: I started this season with the idea in mind that TPE is a factor but it does not determine to 100% how well a player does in the league. There might be real busts (high TPE player that just do not live up to their expectations) and diamonds in the rough (low TPE players that do really well in the Sim. ...And yeah I stole this term from my friend tesla).
Unfortunately, I am not perfect (although I work on that), so please let me know if I missed a position change or a stat for your player.
I used the TPE-list @[FurFurFurson] provided a week ago about the active players in the last three weeks. So a lot of credit to this amazing agent-player duo. This means that the last TPE update is not available on this list, but as I said, TPE is not everything. Plus, it should give an insight into the true TPE a player had at the end of the season in which he produced his stats.
So without further ado, let us take a look at all these talented S22 NSFL-Draft prospects.
Defensive Tackle
1. Phat Boi, 236 TPE @[BadLck] - Kansas City
14 Games; 23 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 3 Sacks
Do I have to introduce Phat Boi? He was one of the first names I saw when I entered the league. He is the highest TPE prospect for a while now. A max earner since he first entered the league during the 20th season. Boi was dealt as the number one pick numerous times.
He did not quite average 2 tackles a game with 3 sacks and 1 TFL. These numbers are surprising if you consider my introduction. Honestly, I do not know how the Sim did not give him more sacks.
2. Magnus Rikiya, 198 TPE @[Tesla] - Norfolk
14 Games; 28 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 3/1 FF/FR; 1 Sacks
If you’re looking for a good run stopper, Rikiya might be your man to keep an eye on. Rikiya is a ball focused tackler who was able to create 3 turnovers during his rookie season.
3. Octavio Clemente, 197 TPE @[Billybolo53] - Myrtle Beach
14 Games; 46 Tackles; 2 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 2 Sacks
Another elite defensive line prospect. Sack production was pretty good for Clemente and he also managed to get an elite amount of tackles. His stat line is in line with the other Top-Prospects. The draft position might come down to what kind of production the teams are looking for.
4. Deshun Jones, 193 TPE @[Forty Jordy] - Dallas
14 Games; 32 Tackles; 3 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 4 Sacks
4 Sacks. The first time on this list that I get to say this. Jones was a very effective pass rusher and also got quite some tackles and TFLs in. A very well rounded player
5. Mo “Mamba” Magic, 188 TPE @[thevoicelesscreator] - Minnesota
14 Games; 33 Tackles; 3 Tackles for Loss; 1/0 FF/FR; 4 Sacks
Mamba had a very similar production to Deshun Jones although Mamba shined a tiny bit more by forcing a fumble.
6. Big Edd, 169 TPE @[Big Edd] - Dallas
14 Games; 52 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 3 Sacks
Big Edd was a brick wall for runners to run into. 52 Tackles is twice as much as our top-prospect achieved. Plus, if you take away his run-blocking-skills he is still a very solid pass rusher.
I think Edd demanded a trade in the middle of the season which never happened, might hurt his draft stock i don’t know. Big Edd might be the biggest Boom or Bust candidate at the DT spot. Let’s hope the he is going to be a boom.
7. Nuniq Annastesia, 135 TPE @[Brucehum] - Kansas City
12 Games; 25 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks
Annastesia does have similar tackle numbers to phat boi. The pass rush production is not there, unfortunately. A player with great potential which just was not able to shine quite yet.
8. Hank Steel, 132 TPE @[DrChops] - Portland
14 Games; 14 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks
Not too much to say about Hank steel. My calculation-skills tell me that he averaged 1 tackle per game. That is not many. Sadly, the Index does not give me any indication of how many snaps he played.
9. Tristan Gronlie, 101 TPE @[WateringCan] - London
14 Games; 31 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 1/1 FF/FR; 3 Sacks
Tristan Gronlie played with me for the London Royals. Let me just say I was very surprised about his quick production. A good tackle performance combined with a recorded forced fumble AND an elite pass rush. He is going to be a steal in the later rounds if he is able to keep that up.
10. Claude Miller II, 92 TPE @[Bruins10] - London
5 Games; 9 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks
Claude is another player in the Royals’ roster. I believe he only played in 2-3 Games although the Index says he played in 5. But with this relatively low snap count, he is very hard to judge.
11. Clayton Jones, 71 TPE @[SweetPot8erFrys] - London
14 Games; 22 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks
Jones, I believe, ended up sharing his workload with Miller II after playing the majority of the season. He came away with quite a few tackles and a TFL. There is definitely some room for improvement but he seems to have a good foundation to make the next step.
12. Godrick Fallstrum, 67 TPE @[infyy] - Norfolk
14 Games; 3 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 1 Sacks
Look at this stat line. Ones again, I do not see the snap counts. Fallstrum managed to get away with a sack despite only having 3 tackles. This makes him, mathematically, the best pass rusher among defensive tackles.
Defensive End
1. Troen Egghands, 201 TPE @[Troen] - Myrtle Beach
14 Games; 36 Tackles; 18 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 6 Sacks; 1 Safety
Troen is the highest TPE defensive end on this list and is most likely going to be the first one to be off the board. Troen seems to be everything you are looking for in a player: he is a max earner, he writes very long and good media, he seems to be pretty active and also he had a good year.
18 Tackles for loss and 6 sacks just show you that he is not only strong enough to get after the QBs - he is also fast enough to stop running plays to the outside. He nearly averaged 2 tackles a game as well.
2. Sandro Ryeu, 185 TPE @[s4ndr0p] - London
14 Games; 92 Tackles; 12 Tackles for Loss; 3/2 FF/FR; 5 Sacks; 2 Pass Deflections
- recently used as LB -
Look, mum, it’s me!
I am not going to rate my performance in any way because that would obviously be biased. What I do want to say though is that I started playing at the Linebacker spot in Week 8. So, what you see here is a mix of two different stat-lines. I would still consider myself as a DE though, that’s why I added myself in here.
3. Patrik Money, 175 TPE @[PMoney] - Kansas City
14 Games; 39 Tackles; 14 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 8 Sacks
The most effective pass rusher among the defensive ends - and a very good run stopper as well. Nearly half of his tackles were made in the backfield if that does not show you his skill to overpower offensive linemen, I don’t know what does.
4. Slinky Claxton, 168 TPE @[Shiznit19] - Portland
14 Games; 43 Tackles; 7 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks
With a pretty high tackle count, Claxton definitely had a good year. His pass-rush skills still leave more to be desired but that might be something for the future. I am excited to see what he can do in the future.
5. James Cho, 164 TPE @[cho1325] - Dallas
14 Games; 36 Tackles; 17 Tackles for Loss; 0/1 FF/FR; 2 Sacks
Cho is another very good run stopper. 17 Tackles for loss is the second-best on the list. He also recorded two sacks so he is pretty versatile as well. We might have another pretty high pick in Cho.
6. Simeon Works, 136 TPE @[juicychase] - London
14 Games; 29 Tackles; 10 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 3 Sacks
Simeon guarded the other side of the Royals’ D-Line for me. Although his production was not great at the beginning of the season, he improved it quite a lot during the season. I will give him some credit that he stepped up as the Number one defensive end after I was being switched to the linebacker position. 3 Sacks is a great stat to have and although he did not get too many tackles he was very important for stopping the ball before it reached the line of scrimmage.
7. Mario VonPebbles, 120 TPE @[Jangorhino] - Minnesota
14 Games; 3 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 1 Sacks
- recently used as DT -
Not a lot to see here. I saw he was being used as a DT and these tend to get a great number of tackles but I can not see when that happened. He managed to snack a sack. That’s great.
8. Ismael Sanchez, 113 TPE @[Ismael8907] - Kansas City
2 Games; 5 Tackles; 3 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks
Sanchez only played in two games. His production was not bad in these.
9. Jimmy Frackerson, 110 TPE @[popop143] - Myrtle Beach
13 Games; 22 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 3 Sacks
- partially used as LB -
3 Sacks? I do not know how these happened because he was used as a Linebacker recently. His tackle number does not seem to be too high for linebackers though so you would think he played DE for quite a while. 3 Sacks is a very good stat line for a DE. He did not seem to get many snaps though.
10. Buster Brownce, 88 TPE @[Jacob.bilyeu18] - Norfolk
14 Games; 7 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 1/1 FF/FR; 2 Sacks
There are many weird stat lines in here. Brownce was very effective. Despite only having 7 tackles he managed to force a fumble and also to get 2 Sacks. A big question mark above my head on this one.
11. Beef Buckets, 67 TPE @[Dropology] - Dallas
6 Games; 13 Tackles; 7 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 1 Sacks
Beef Buckets does have a great name and a decent stat line. He has been on the roster for only 6 games.
12. Anthony Brewer, 62 TPE @[NoahFinn] - Myrtle Beach
0 Games; 0 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks
No stats for him.
Linebacker
1. Stanislaw Koniecpolski, 229 TPE @[majesiu] - Dallas
14 Games; 140 Tackles; 2 Tackles for Loss; 1/0 FF/FR; 1 Sacks; 1 INT; 1 Pass Deflections
Koniecpolski is a great run blocker in the second level. He averaged 10 Tackles a game and also recorded a Sack, a forced fumble and an INT. He was a steal in the Dallas Draft.
2. Derred de Ville, 205 TPE @[Exilizer] - London
14 Games; 147 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 2/2 FF/FR; 9 Sacks; 1 INT; 8 Pass Deflections
Derred de Ville has made his point to the DPoY-conversation. Derred’s stats are just insane. He managed to leave marks in every part of the game. He even leads the rookies in tackles, forced fumbles and sacks. Combine this with a strong presence in the passing game and you got a potential franchise linebacker
3. Lawrence Bass, 178 TPE @[RussDrivesTheBus] - Minnesota
14 Games; 147 Tackles; 6 Tackles for Loss; 1/0 FF/FR; 6 Sacks; 0 INT; 1 Pass Deflections
Lawrence Bass also made his point into the DPoY competition. Bass might have been a little bit better as a run stopper than de Ville if you calculate the yards given up before the tackle but other than that he is just slightly behind de Ville in my opinion (and this should really be something to be proud of).
4. Fawn Dillmiballs, 171 TPE @[enforcer] - Kansas City
14 Games; 122 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 1/1 FF/FR; 1 Sacks; 2 INT; 2 Pass Deflections; 1TD
Dillmiballs is another part of a great linebacker class. High tackle stats, recorded a little bit of everything and he was a force in the passing defense. 2 INTs and a Pick six is what you get out of the Linebacker out of Kansas City
5. Haha Mango-Panda, 169 TPE @[furiousPanda] - Dallas
14 Games; 106 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 1/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks; 0 INT; 4 Pass Deflections
Mango-Panda is a very interesting prospect. His stat lines could land him anywhere between the Tier-1 and Tier-2 prospects. As a former Quarterback Mango-Panda might have surprised many fans with his production. He averaged nearly 8 tackles per game. The downside is that he could not use his Quarterback-knowledge to his advantage and get away with a Pick. He was not able to get a Sack in either.
6. Mark Radson, 157 TPE @[Ayyylmao] - Myrtle Beach
14 Games; 88 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 1/1 FF/FR; 5 Sacks; 1 INT; 9 Pass Deflections
Radson is a force in the passing game while also being able to build some pressure upfront. 9 Pass deflections are quite a lot, combine this with 5 sacks and a forced fumble and a decent stat line and you have a player that I would consider to be a potential day 1 starter.
7. Benson Bayley, Jr., 153 TPE @[BayleyIsland] - Dallas
14 Games; 99 Tackles; 3 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 10Sacks; 12 Pass Deflections; 1 Safety
I am so glad that Bayley Jr. comes right after what I just said about Mark Radson. Bayley is a very similar player as Radson but he just came away with a slightly different stat line. He leads the rookies on pass deflections and sacks. Other than Radson he did not record a turnover though. Very interesting who is going first.
8. George ‘Corpse Grinder’ Fisher, 147 TPE @[AL_GRINGO] - Tijuana
14 Games; 116 Tackles; 3 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 1 Sacks; 1 INT; 2 Pass Deflections
Another linebacker that managed to break the 100 tackle-mark. He was effective anywhere on the field. More of a run-stopping type of player.
9. Jack Banks, 137 TPE @[TheRocheLimit] - Norfolk
14 Games; 34 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 0/1 FF/FR; 0 Sacks; 1 INT; 2 Pass Deflections
Well, 34 tackles are not many. I do not know much about Banks so he might have been a DL for a while or just did not play a whole lot. Anyway, nothing to really impress the scouts here as a Linebacker.
10. Spike Suzuki, 125 TPE @[xbijin] - Norfolk
14 Games; 134 Tackles; 2 Tackles for Loss; 1/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks; 0 INT; 1 Pass Deflections
Suzuki seemed to be anywhere on the field. A real menace for an opponent ballcarrier. He recorded 134 tackles and a forced fumble. Was not very effective in the passing game though.
11. Lloyd Collins, 117 TPE @[SalmonFormula] - Portland
14 Games; 63 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 1/1 FF/FR; 2 Sacks; 0 INT; 3 Pass Deflections
Another player that did not see the turf a whole lot, I think. stat lines are pretty solid though, especially coming up with 3 PDs, 2 Sacks and a fumble forcing.
12. Dex Kennedy, 106 TPE @[Dagumpa] - Minnesota
8 Games; 25 Tackles; 3 Tackles for Loss; 0/1 FF/FR; 3 Sacks; 0 INT; 3 Pass Deflections; 1 Safety
Wait, what? 25 Tackles in 8 Games and 3 Sacks? Maaan, I wish I could see if he played DT or smth…
13. Devaunte Sackpieder, 97 TPE @[devaunte] - Tijuana
14 Games; 39 Tackles; 14 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 3 Sacks; 1 INT; 1 Pass Deflections
I believe I saw Sackpieder playing on the defensive line. This would definitely explain his 14 tackles for loss and 3 Sacks. His INT and Pass Deflections would also show that he is a good cover guy as well.
14. Samuel L. Sackson, Sr., 91 TPE @[Ortecam] - Minnesota
14 Games; 110 Tackles; 2 Tackles for Loss; 2/1 FF/FR; 6 Sacks; 1 INT; 6 Pass Deflections; 1 TD
Steal, if you look at the stats. 100+ tackles, 2FF, 6 Sacks, 1 Pick-Six and this guy was only 91 TPE! Let’s see if a team takes a chance with Sackson.
15. Nat Wright, 90 TPE @[nated4444] - Tijuana
14 Games; 37 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 1/0 FF/FR; 1 Sacks; 0 INT; 1 Pass Deflections
Nat Wright did not produce many tackles but he did produce a Sack and a forced fumble.
Cornerback
I am so sorry for you guys, but this class is so packed with talent that I do not have too much to say about every player. Teams should have very many, tough decisions to make here.
1. Tyler Oles, Jr., 215 TPE @[To12143] - Portland
14 Games; 47 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 3 INT; 13 Pass Deflections
We have one of the best players in the draft here. Oles did not come away with an overwhelming stat line but that is just the because of the expectations you would have. Oles forced 3 Turnovers and deflected 13 passes. It’s likely that QBs did not look his way too often.
2. Brandon Booker, 200 TPE @[Memento Mori] - Myrtle Beach
14 Games; 61 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 1/0 FF/FR; 2 INT; 11 Pass Deflections
Similar stat line to Oles with a couple more tackles. PDs and TOs are pretty similar.
3. Zamir Kehla, 195 TPE @[retrospace111] - Portland
14 Games; 37 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 5 INT; 10 Pass Deflections
Kehla proved that he was able to be an elite cover corner. 5 INTs are the best for the rookie CBs. Don’t expect him to be a force as a run stopper.
4. Eldrick Avery, 195 TPE @[RansackTheUniverse] - London
14 Games; 39 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 3 INT; 12 Pass Deflections
Avery had some production. 3 INTs and 12 pass deflections are right in line with the top corners.
5. Thubba Bumper, 193 TPE @[baueranthony9] - Norfolk
14 Games; 33 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 1/1 FF/FR; 1 INT; 11 Pass Deflections
Bumper forced two turnovers and also did a little bit of everything.
6. Cadillac Harris, 183 TPE @[tractorcito_grande] - London
14 Games; 59 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 1 Sacks; 1 INT; 14 Pass Deflections
Harris can play some Ball. Pretty good coverage skills and also came away with a sack.
7. Chester Sweets, 182 TPE @[revuhlution] - Kansas City
14 Games; 54 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 2 INT; 16 Pass Deflections
Sweets was a strong force in the KC secondary. 2 INTs and 16 Pass deflections for this prospect.
8. Andrew Witten, 180 TPE @[mithrandir] - Tijuana
14 Games; 50 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 INT; 12 Pass Deflections
Witten did not manage to create a turnover, but he managed to create some pass deflections
9. Colt Mendoza, 180 TPE @[iStegosauruz] - Dallas
14 Games; 53 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 1/1 FF/FR; 1 INT; 7 Pass Deflections
Mendoza is dealt as a potential number 1 pick. This is based on the trust teams have with this player-agent duo. His stat line would not be enough to stand out as a number one prospect even though it is not bad. It’s just a very strong class.
10. Ben Stackinpaper, 166 TPE @[benstackinpaper] - London
14 Games; 122 Tackles; 3 Tackles for Loss; 3/1 FF/FR; 1 INT; 5 Pass Deflections
- I think London used him in several positions -
Yeah as I said, he was originally used as a Nickel but I think he also played as a linebacker. Versatile player!
11. Jonathan Altidor, 148 TPE @[ralams123] - Myrtle Beach
14 Games; 111 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/1 FF/FR; 1 INT; 4 Pass Deflections
- Also got Snaps as a Linebacker -
Altidors stats are in line with the top linebackers. Teams with both needs should be advised to keep an eye on him.
12. Alexander Hamilton II, 143 TPE @[Alexander Hamilton II] - Portland
14 Games; 85 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 2/1 FF/FR; 4 INT; 6 Pass Deflections
Hamilton was just a turnover machine. He is second in INTs among the rookie CBs and also forced two fumbles. He was all over the field slamming ball carriers into the ground 85 times.
13. Bayden Brosley, 137 TPE @[sensual-snickers-bar] - Norfolk
14 Games; 95 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 1 INT; 4 Pass Deflections
- I believe Brosley is another Player with a position swap -
Another stat line that is in line with a good LB season. I’m interested to see how many of these secondary guys end up at the Linebacker spot.
14. Ozamataz Buckshank, 109 TPE @[Ozamataz] - Tijuana
14 Games; 32 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 2 INT; 13 Pass Deflections
Buckshank played very consistently. defended 13 passes and also came down with 2 Balls.
15. Matt Krause, 104 TPE @[Reaper11B] - Minnesota
14 Games; 36 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 INT; 7 Pass Deflections
Krause’s season was not too flashy but nevertheless he recorded some important tackles and pass deflections.
16. Tyron Shields, 71 TPE @[TheCC] - Minnesota
14 Games; 30 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 INT; 5 Pass Deflections
Another Grey Duck. similar numbers to his teammate Matt Krause
17. Cody Martin, 66 TPE @[ThiccestBaboon] - Kansas City
0 Games; 0 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 INT; 0 Pass Deflections
No stats available
18. Ricky Boomhauer, 59 TPE @[Ktown93] - Minnesota
14 Games; 42 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 2 INT; 7 Pass Deflections
A low TPE player with a pretty good production.
Safety
1. Matt “Son of Havoc” Cross, 200 TPE @[J0EB] - Norfolk
14 Games; 77 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 1/0 FF/FR; 1 Sacks; 3 INT; 3 Pass Deflections; 1 TD
Great numbers for Matt cross. He is at the top of the list in nearly every stat line. He is pretty active as well, so he will very likely among the first 3 safeties off the board.
2. Buck Thornton, 195 TPE @[FurFurFurson] - Minnesota
14 Games; 64 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 3/1 FF/FR; 6 Sacks; 2 INT; 2 Pass Deflections; 1 TD
Buck Thornton stacked the stat sheets. Thornton created 5 turnovers and also recorded 6 Sacks. Furthermore, he is very active. One of the cornerstones for the Grey Ducks this season. I would not be surprised if he was the first safety to be drafted.
3. Johnny Hellzapoppin, 194 TPE @[Colabear] - Myrtle Beach
14 Games; 63 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 5 Sacks; 2 INT; 2 Pass Deflections; 1 TD
Myrtle Beach was very confident with their Pick on Hellzapoppin. I think they did not regret their decision. Hellzapoppin had a productive season both in coverage and at blitzing.
4. Quinn Hughes, 190 TPE @[Isidore94] - London
14 Games; 70 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 3/2 FF/FR; 2 Sacks; 3 INT; 4 Pass Deflections; 1 Safety; 1 TD
Hughes was a force right from the start of the season in the Royals’ secondary. Hughes created 6(!) turnovers while also stacking tackles. Isidore’s power rankings should benefit his draft stock as well.
5. Wesley Eriksen, 178 TPE @[Lightnoir] - Norfolk
14 Games; 56 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 4 Sacks; 2 INT; 3 Pass Deflections; 1 TD
Eriksen created 2 turnovers and 4 sacks. Pretty good stat line but not quite as good as the Top-4. Let’s see if GMs will consider this in their evaluation of him.
6. Eric Barlow, 178 TPE @[Thiath] - Dallas
14 Games; 44 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 1/1 FF/FR; 2 Sacks; 2 INT; 2 Pass Deflections; 1 TD
Barlow is another player that did not have the elite season of the top-4 players in this group. He created 3 turnovers though which is definitely something you are looking for in a safety.
7. Sebastian Vettel, 174 TPE @[Phalanx32] - Minnesota
14 Games; 50 Tackles; 2 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 3 Sacks; 4 INT; 4 Pass Deflections; 1 TD
Our boy out of Heppenheim came away with 4 Interceptions and 3 sacks. That is a very good stat line and even enough to compare him to the top prospects of this class.
8. Shawn Dawkins, 149 TPE @[Number 82] - Portland
14 Games; 64 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 3 Sacks; 1 INT; 3 Pass Deflections; 0 TD
Dawkins was not the flashiest player in this season but he delivered continuously. 64 tackles is a lot and he also got to the QB 3 times.
9. Hamish MacAndrew, 147 TPE @[IthicaHawk] - Dallas
14 Games; 69 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks; 1 INT; 1 Pass Deflections; 0 TD
that’s is some NICE tackling here. He was a good run stopper this season and also got an INT to put on top of it.
10. LiterallyJust A. Hexagon, 145 TPE @[JPach] - Tijuana
14 Games; 103 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 1/1 FF/FR; 0 Sacks; 3 INT; 5 Pass Deflections; 1 TD
Hexagon created 4 turnovers and over 100 tackles. These are both elite numbers for a Linebacker AND a cornerback. Another steal on this list. Let’s see if a team can use his unique abilities to his best.
11. Magnus Valdyr, 127 TPE @[KamiCommie] - Tijuana
14 Games; 50 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 2/0 FF/FR; 2 Sacks; 2 INT; 4 Pass Deflections; 2 TD
2 Pick-Sixes for Valdyr. He is the only defensive prospect to have achieved that. Paired with 2 Sacks and 2 forced fumbles, I would definitely be interested if I was a GM.
12. Brendan Lanier, 116 TPE @[jdourtled] - Myrtle Beach
14 Games; 29 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 2 Sacks; 2 INT; 3 Pass Deflections; 0 TD
This safety class is getting deeper and deeper. Lanier might be another steal in the later rounds. He did some impact both in the run- and pass defense.
13. Abbas Muhammad, 103 TPE @[stupiduglyidiot] - Dallas
14 Games; 54 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks; 2 INT; 9 Pass Deflections; 0 TD
- recently used as CB -
basically these are cornerback numbers for Muhammad. He got quite a few tackles under his belt paired with 2 INTs. Let’s see if he will continue to be used as a CB or S.
14. Ed Ball, 85 TPE @[Qball100] - London
14 Games; 62 Tackles; 1 Tackles for Loss; 1/2 FF/FR; 4 Sacks; 0 INT; 0 Pass Deflections; 0 TD
Ed played quite a lot in the Royals’ secondary. He was a force in the running defense, sacking the opponent QB 4 times and also forcing a fumble. 62 tackles is a legit number.
15. Michael Lee, 73 TPE @[Sorrel] - Norfolk
14 Games; 11 Tackles; 0 Tackles for Loss; 0/0 FF/FR; 0 Sacks; 0 INT; 1 Pass Deflections; 0 TD
Not much to say about Lee. 11 tackles are not much.
Kicker
1. Matthew McDairmid, 176 TPE @[Matty7478] - Kansas City
14 Games; XP 3/4; FG 1/1; 21 long
78 Punts; 42.8 Avg; 8 Inside 20; 64 long
McDairmid was the Punter for the Kansas City Coyotes this season. Pretty solid performance. Basically one out of 10 punts are spotted inside the 20 for him. He did not get many attempts as a kicker, did not look too bad though as well.
2. Kal Solarin, 121 TPE @[Kalakar] - Myrtle Beach
14 Games; XP 32/33; FG 23/29; 54 long
70 Punts; 41.7 Avg; 6 Inside 20; 64 long
Solarin does have some power in his Leg. He was not the most precise but I am sure this is going to change in the future. He proved that he is comfortable both playing Punter AND Kicker.
3. Sam Sidekick, 115 TPE @[Evok] - Norfolk
14 Games; XP 40/40; FG 13/17; 47 long
91 Punts; 43.0 Avg; 8 Inside 20; 59 long
Sidekick made most of his field goals and he was perfect on extra points this season. He Punted a whopping 91 times and downed 8 balls inside the 20. There might be some concern about how his kicking technique is affecting his Kick Power because we did not see the longest punts and kicks by him.
4. Jacob Small, 94 TPE @[bjkman] - Tijuana
14 Games; XP 33/36; FG 17/21; 52 long
90 Punts; 42.0 Avg; 10 Inside 20; 61 long
Jacob Small got a pretty big workload. He punted 90 times and kicked 57 times. Both his Power and Accuracy are displayed in his stats. He downs 1 out of 9 Balls inside the 20 and has an 81% Field Goal percentage.
5. Pseudo QB, 59 TPE @[xxxbruhxxx] - Portland
4 Games; XP 2/2; FG 4/6; 51 long
13 Punts; 41.5 Avg; 3 Inside 20; 50 long
QB did not get used a lot. His production actually did not look that bad, but I think he might have to wait at least another season until NSFL Teams will be interested.
I really hope that I do not offend anybody with my honest opinions if I do please discuss your standpoint in the comments since it might be also a way to justify a few stats for the NSFL Scouting Staff. Let me know if I got the wrong position for you and I might adjust it, especially for the players I was not really certain about.
