I'm bored, so: 4th overall pick Brandon Booker is in Hawaii for the DSFL Pro Bowl this evening and has been asked by the league to perform media duties. The new Philadelphia Liberty cornerback is available to take your questions about the draft, the upcoming season, winning the Ultimini with the Bucs, and his deepest, darkest secrets.

Do you have an interest in joining HO or putting your name as a commissioner candidate?

Wow, straight in with the hard-hitting question. I really don't know. I tend to gravitate towards leadership positions when I feel like it's appropriate for me to do so, but it's not something I've thought about given that I'm a newer face around here. I think HO is doing a reasonably good job overall but there's been a lot of issues in the DSFL in the last few seasons that I think could've been handled better. I know that in other leagues there's separate leadership bodies for the main league and for the developmental league and perhaps the advisory group HO has established is a step towards a system like that. I'd probably be more interested in a HO role within the DSFL than in the NSFL.

I'd definitely say no to commissioner though, the job is thankless and there's people better suited to it - the league is definitely better off with someone other than me as commissioner.

Who do you feel were some of the best/worst value picks in the draft?

Thanks for your questions! Troen Egghands being picked in the second half of Round 2 stands out. I think most of us had him going within the first eight picks and I've no idea how he fell that far. I was shocked to see Deshun Jones fall to 34 as well, it seems that the defensive linemen got overlooked in favour of flashier picks. Cadillac Harris dropping to the fourth was pretty baffling too.

In terms of worst value, absolutely Heath Evans haha.

What's it like playing for Myrtle Beach DSFL South conference in the pro bowl?

Was great to see so many of my old teammates again. I think there were more people with championship rings than without in that locker room. Let's hope there's as much Myrtle Beach representation in some of the upcoming NSFL Pro Bowls!

How has your introduction to your new team been so far?

It's been great! The locker room is a nice blend of old and new. There's some former Myrtle Beach players, and we drafted myself, Altidor and Apollo from Myrtle Beach in the past draft. Tom Sofa was also on the team for approximately thirty seconds before he was traded to Sarasota. The people I hadn't met before are all great and I'm happy that I get to play with Matt Cross and Wesley Eriksen, they're two guys I have a lot of time for.

Did you have any feelings prior to the draft that Philadelphia would make a move to get you early?

I knew Philadelphia wanted me and they knew I'd love to play for Philly but I was pleasantly surprised to see them trade up. I know that Austin, Arizona and a couple of other teams had me ranked very high as well so I expected to get picked somewhere in the first round but I didn't know which team would be the one to pull the trigger.

How did you get internet and computer access in Cory's basement?

I feel like this story has gotten a little out of hand. I offered to help Cory with scouting for the DSFL Draft, and then one day I woke up in Cory's basement tied to a chair with a laptop in front of me. He said he didn't know how I got there, but seeing as I was tied to a chair with a laptop I may as well do some scouting for the draft. After the draft he was going to untie me but then he forgot. Apparently his basement is soundproof so he couldn't hear me shouting from down there. Eventually word got out that I was tied up there and some very nice people came to help. Cory was totally innocent throughout this whole thing, it was all just a big misunderstanding.
