MYBB PASSWORD RESET GUIDE

The first thing you will have to do to use the new forum site, is to reset the password associated with your account. This explains the steps for the reset procedure.

1. On the new site, click the Login button:

On mobile this will look like:

2. Don't fill in any info and just click on "Lost your password?"

3. Enter the email address associated with your account, and click "Request Login credentials"

4. Check your email account (including your spam folder).

Open the password reset email, which contains a one time password reset link.
Click on the link, this will take you to the password reset form.

5. Enter & confirm your new password.

You need to set a password that is at least 8 characters long, contains at least 1 number and an uppercase and a lowercase letter.
The activation code is a one time code and should already be populated for you. If not, copy it across from the email you just received.

6. Receive Confirmation Email

You should receive a confirmation email, and can now:

Do not ever publicly post your email address or current/new password anywhere. No Admin or HO member will ever ask you for your current or new password. Do not share it with anyone!
