Pack Opening Review. Episode Three. Let's do this!
Third time is the charm they say. We will not stop there. Even if we pull the cards we are seeking after. But let's see where the pulls stand after last time:
Total cards opened: 12
Legend (Blue/Sapphire): 1 - 8.33%
All-Pro (Red/Ruby): 0 - 0%
Star (Gold): 2 - 16.67%
Starter (Silver): 3 - 25%
Backup (Bronze): 5 - 41.67%
I would say we should open the pack carefully, but I could not care less! (Do not even try to correct me on that if I am wrong, just let me be). As long as I do not tear any card up, it is all fine. But enough with the talking. Less talking, more flipping. You will say that it is only six cards per episode, why the rush? Time is money. Simple as that.
The first pull is Backup Marcus Boyd. Philly's offensive lineman from all the way back to the origins of the league. From when it all began, season 1. Honestly, I know nothing about the early days of the league. I should get down to do it at some point, especially now that I have to sound like I know who the players I am pulling are. If you got any info about any player before season 15, please put it down in the comments of each episode. I will appreciate the knowledge!
The next card is... All-Pro running back, Boss Tweed, from season 1. From some info I managed to look up into, he is a Hall of Famer, but unfortunately, I managed to pull his base set edition. I wonder if his Hall Of Fame set card is somewhere in the collection. We will learn at some point in the future.
Next we have Yellowknife's linebacker from season 3, Backup William Ridley. Again, an old player, not much I can tell you about him. I am so lacking in the league's past players. Not sure if that's a bad or a good thing, considering I have read most of the past punishments. Who invents a different style and character for each of their multis? I can barely function doing a player. Kroustis peaked at 949 TPE, and I was so lazy. I was not even doing Trivia and written Point Tasks. Holy fuck.
Next is Star Baltimore running back from season 20, Darrel Williams. Let me see what I can find in the forums about him. Alright. He was the number one pick in the season 19 Developmental Simulation Football League Draft, also known as the DSFL Draft, also known as the Prospect Draft. He was drafted 7th overall in the big leagues. Will not do the name thing, too lazy for that. He is still active, and on a very lucrative deal. Keep it up young fella!
Fifth card is Starter Brice Boggs. Another old player. He was drafted in Season 3, the first season of the DSFL. But he played in the then called NSFL. Not much I can find about him. I think I have to dig too dip to find anything about ye olde league players.
Aight, last card. Please be a good one, please be a good one... Backup tight end from season 11, Yellowknife's Adrian Pitcher. Ending on a Backup second episode in a row. It is what it is. Better luck next time. Second straight pack I pull at least a Ruby or higher card. Which can be a good thing. Or a bad sign of the times to come. Now let's see the totals thus far:
Total cards opened: 18
Legend (Blue/Sapphire): 1 - 5.55...5%
All-Pro (Red/Ruby): 1 - 5.55...5%
Star (Gold): 3 - 16.67%
Starter (Silver): 4 - 22.22...2%
Backup (Bronze): 8 - 44.44...4%
Yup, it's tough to pull high rarity cards. And this is only the base set, we have not even touched the Awards, Hall Of Fame, or Ultimus Winner sets. Prayers in the comments I guess?
And that's it for this one folks. I will be back tomorrow with the next pack! Peace!
