With the ISFL draft behind us (congrats to all those who got picked!), lets take a look at some of the prospects in the upcoming (or ongoing actually) DSFL draft. All TPE values taken from the tracker.
Quarterback - This QB class is pretty small, with only two players after the sudden retirement of Kotone Shiomi.
LeBron James III, Orhanello, 77 TPE: A new user in the ISFL, Orhanello has nonetheless been active, writing several media pieces (learning paragraphs though!), running a twitter, and keeping up with all of his TPE activities. He has had a promising start, and If he keeps it up, he’ll be a good developmental prospect for a team’s QB of the future.
Ryan Negs, Ryan Negs, 50 TPE: Another new guy in the league, despite only currently banking 50 TPE, Ryan appears to also be active, with an active twitter, media pieces, et al. Needs to bank it though! I’ve also seen him around discord.
Even though it’s small, both members of the upcoming QB class appear to be willing to put in the work to be high earners, which is especially important for QB’s.
Running back - Another small class, with one recreating user and two brand new ones.
Mr. Forty-Two, C9Van, 84 TPE: Returning user C9Van is a well known user who recently retired his OL Laszlo Forty-Two, who earned a whopping 1332 TPE, so he will definitely be a desirable prospect for any DSFL team. C9 knows how the league works and obviously isn’t afraid to earn TPE so expect him to go early!
Rocky Jackman, RockyBaljoa0804, 50 TPE: This user and player literally created last night during the ISFL draft, so they are a complete wild card.
Big Chungus, The_Mediocre_Pigeon, 50 TPE: What is a Chungus? We may never know. Another new user/player combo, this person has done only a few tasks, claimed none, and hasn’t been on in over a week.
Wide Receiver - A large class, with what appears to be 16 prospects at the time of this writing.
Tugg Speedman, zakkyjohns, 86 TPE: A new user, Tugg appears to have checked all the boxes on activity, except for Twitter (easy money!) Also several articles introducing himself and telling us why he should be drafted. Should be one of the top options at WR.
Raphael Delacour, 37thchamber, 84 TPE: 37th has been around the ISFL for a looong time, so he should have no trouble finding a team looking for a good WR prospect.
Mario Messi, KingSean, 78 TPE: Another new, but active user. He did play part of the season after Kansas City picked him up on waivers, so he may have already found a home.
Quavious McGrady, DoIHaveThe Sause, 77 TPE: We’ll find out this year if Quavious has the Sause. Another new, but active user, McGrady spent some time on the Luchadores after being claimed on waivers.
Schumi Hulkenvettel, Bauer, 63 TPE: I’m starting to think that some of these player names are designed to make article writers type them out. Bauer is a returning user, not a super high TPE earner, but still a solid prospect.
Tater Tosser, PuttingMCBedsTogether, 62 TPE: A new user, Tater has earned some TPE. However, he hasn’t been super active and its been over a week since he was active. Will likely be taken after the more active players.
Julian Jurevicious, cstarr2245, 50 TPE: A new user who has been active, will likely be taken later since the WR class is so large.
Joey Brady, Exogorthian, 50 TPE: A new user with one post so not much is known about this player.
Kemorian Moore, Glizzy, 50 TPE: Another new one post user.
John Smith, Gooney, 50 TPE: Not a new user, but hasn’t had an active player since 2017. Been slightly active.
Johnathan Smith, cpetrella, 50 TPE: A returning user, but their last player was a S23 retired at 50 TPE so they may fall if GMs question how active they will stay.
Dick Grayon, Wackeo: Another new, one post user. *shrug*
Arthur Naught, wonderful_art, 50 TPE: A new user, but they have been plenty active including on twitter and writing media. Looks like a good prospect.
Johnny Football, VivekD12, 50 TPE: A new user, has done the basics, but not much else.
Jalen Washington, gls, 50 TPE: A new, but active player. Good value here.
Lalo Salamanca, Fordhammer 50 TPE: A veteran, high earning user, so likely to go earlier than later.
Tight end - A moderately sized class with a total of 6 prospects waiting to hear their names called.
Akil Ozymandias, Count chocula, 86 TPE: A new user, Akil has still been killing it with the TPE. Looks to be a solid earner if he keeps it up!
Tom Teboat, pauadrian, 69 TPE: Another new user who looks to have more TPE on the way that they haven’t claimed. Also has written some interesting media pieces.
Jaja Ding Dong, ckroyal92 67 TPE: A long time, active user who appears to have had several good previous players, but retired the last one because of expansion? Should be a good prospect as long as he is a good fit in the locker room
Caven McRae, MacDaddy, 50 TPE: New user who appears to be somewhat active and hasn’t claimed some TPE. Not much else to say.
Owmy Back, I#39;ll change this later, 50 TPE: Not a new user, but their two previous players earned less than 70 TPE. Appears to be somewhat active, but will have to convince GMs that they’ll actually stay active this time if they want to go earlier than the cleanup rounds.
Offensive line - with the new trend of offensive lineman, this a decent sized OL class with good potential.
Richard Littlewood, LatinViking, 96 TPE: While a new user, Littlewood has been all over the place earning that TPE. An active media producer amongst other things, Littlewood appears to be the top pick in this OL class.
Matieers Rico-Shea, Beaver, 77 TPE: A returning user, Rico-Shea has been fairly active. His previous two players earned in the ~500 TPE range, but that won’t be an issue for DSFL drafters.
Byakuya Togami, Toast, 63 TPE: A new user, but they have been fairly active and appear to have unbanked/unclaimed TPE.
Laxus Dreyar, AJay887, 57: Another new, but fairly active user who appears to have unclaimed/unbanked TPE.
Alexander Franklin, Hordle, 50 TPE: Hordle is another new user who appears to be pretty active, again with unclaimed/unbanked TPE. I’ve seen him on discord, so he’s definitely on the GM’s radars.
Jack Cobb, jgcobb79, 50 TPE: Other than their create page, this player has been inactive.
Defensive End - a pretty small class with only a few standouts.
Ernest Lover, Mojojojo, 89 TPE: New user, but they have been very active. Enough so they bought T6 equipment! If they keep this up they will likely be one of the highest earners in this class.
Makoto Otawara, TubbyTim69, 74 TPE: Another well known ISFL user, who previously spent some time as an agent as well. Solid earner, I don’t know anything about their locker room presence.
Dimitrius Rogers, Bilar, 50 TPE: A new user who appears to have some unbanked/claimed TPE. Moderately active and looks like a good developmental prospect.
Moe Skeeter, TheDude 83, 50: Appears to be active with unbanked TPE.
Defensive Tackle - a small class with only 3 members
Ben Siegel, bsiegel, 50 TPE: A new user (2 days old!) Looks to have done most of their rookie tasks, but not much else to know at this point.
Redbeard McFredbeard, Ephenssta, 50 TPE: Returning user so they will be pretty well known to the GMs. Lots of unbanked/claimed TPE.
Primo Berto, Primo Berto, 50 TPE: Brand new user, but appears to be active with unbanked/claimed TPE.
Linebacker - looks to be a fairly deep class at the LB position
Leonard Taylor, Tayjay, 88 TPE: A new but very active user, spent some time in Kansas City after being claimed off of waivers.
BamBam McMullet, manicmav36, 79: Long time user and appeals team head is retiring his cornerback and recreated as a linebacker. Very high earner and well known so will go early in the draft.
Erik Kirkland, Pythonic, 76 TPE: A new, but very active user. Spent some time in Norfolk after being claimed off of waivers.
Vincent Jones, huck24, 72 TPE: Another new and active guy. The Birddogs (go woof tweet!) claimed him off of waivers. Was reading the rulebook when I wrote this so watch out!
Big Slammu, moonlight, 66 TPE: Anyone who’s been in the league very long knows this guy’s previous player, Franklin Armstrong. Appears to have gone a more humorous route this time around. Definitely active and a high earner.
Ty Tyson, Sticks, 50: A new guy with almost no activity. Some potential but likely a later round pick unless he wows the scouts.
Logan Sarrasin, DApolloS, 50 TPE: Another new user/player, but has been active and done some media. Definitely some potential here.
A.J. Lucas, Alucas, 50 TPE: Yet another new person with nice activity. Will definitely get a chance.
Cornerback - small, but solid draft class here
Slurms Mckenzie, Slurms Mckenzie, 89 TPE: Another new player who has jumped right in. Claimed by the Birddogs on waivers and active in the locker room.
Cobra Kai, Orbiting Death, 83 TPE: New player, but pretty active and seems to know some people. Been making that money churning out graphics and present on discord.
H.H. Hopkins, Splatoon is not anime, 50 TPE: Brand new user who has only claimed training camp TPE so not much to say here.
Shaq Shack, Shaq, 50 TPE: New user, hasn’t even spent his starter TPE.
Bismo Funyuns, The__Y-man__100, 50 TPE: Another new but active user.
Royce-Anderson, Royce-Anderson, 50 TPE: Joined, spent their 50 TPE, and left. Don’t know if they’re coming back.
Safety - a few good options if you’re look for a safety
Derek Wildstar, Legally_Blind_Gamer, 89 TPE: New user, but appears to be pretty active and producing media, so lots of potential here.
Dogwood Maple, Dogwood Maple, 72 TPE: New user, but has been a prolific article writer. Seems like a cool guy. Definitely getting drafted early.
Evan Jones, Faelax, 50 TPE: Brand new user, but has been decently active in the short time they’ve been here.
Tony Bull, denns, 50 TPE: New user who was active for a short time but has been inactive for a month now.
Kicker/Punter - kick ball good!
Something McDerpants, nexus1353, 72 TPE: New user who has been pretty active and spent time in Dallas off of waivers.
Pope Francis, ThePope, 50 TPE: Another new user with only a few things done, but hasn’t been here long. I’ve seen him on discord, so he’s definitely being scouted.
Gluteus Maximus, UpperNet 50 TPE: A long-time, high earning user. Will definitely find a home somewhere.
Conclusion: While definitely some solid veteran recreats are in this DSFL class, most are new users, with a surprisingly high amount of activity. DSFL GMs will hope that they keep it up!
