Welcome to the third edition of Maple’s Money Picks!
Each game week, I’ll pick all of the ISFL games and I hopefully won’t regret keeping track of my record throughout the season. Each week, I'll designate one pick as my Maple's Money Pick which will be worth double points.

Week 3
San Jose Sabercats (1-1) at New Orleans Second Line (1-1)
- Last week was forgettable for New Orleans and San Jose will capitalize on the hangover. The Champs get a huge road victory in Week 3, leaving New Orleans reeling after a 1-2 start. Look for Jamar Lackson to get going early and often as they ride him to a major road win over the Second Line.

Player of the Game:

Austin Copperheads (1-1) at Orange County Otters (2-0)
- The Otters got their offense sorted out last week, putting up 31 points in a nice win over New York. They'll continue to stay hot this week as they take on Zoe Watts and the Austin Copperheads. Look for Ramza to continue to gel with his wide receivers and for their offense to continue to hum along nicely. Orange County will sell out to stop the Copperheads' rushing attack which will help seal their third straight win.

Player of the Game:

Baltimore Hawks (1-1) at Honolulu Hahalua (1-1)
- Honolulu opened up a can on New Orleans last week with a 55-27 win and it wasn't even that close. They were up by 45 at one point and put into cruise control early. They got Keʻokeʻo Kāne-Maikaʻi going in a big way and look for that to continue. Baltimore had a tough loss last week and they'll make it two in a row after they travel out to Honolulu. Lots of field goals, lots of turnovers.

Player of the Game:

Chicago Butchers (2-0) at Berlin Fire Salamanders (1-1)
- Chicago is 2-0 and Berlin is in the midst of their longest losing streak in franchise history. Of course I'm picking the Butchers! They head to Europe knowing full well that Berlin will try to play spoiler and only further cement their claim as the top expansion team in the league. The Butchers' defense may get torched, but the offense will do just enough to eek out a scarily close win. But hey, all that matters it the dub.

Player of the Game:

Yellowknife Wraiths (1-1) at Colorado Yeti (1-1)
- This is the game of the week and it will live up to the hype. The Wraiths will race out to a 10+ point lead, but Wolfie McDummy will remain calm and methodically lead the Yeti back to a last-second win. Colorado will score a TD in the final three minutes to ice the game and give Yellowknife a startling 1-2 start.

Player of the Game:

Sarasota Sailfish (1-1) at Philadelphia Liberty (1-1)
- A wise man named Jimi DeSoto told me not to pick against the Liberty last week and I've learned the error of my ways. Give me the Liberty here as the Sailfish have all sorts of problems on offense. Look for Philly to get a bigger-than-expected victory, raising more questions for a struggling Sailfish team.

New York Silverbacks (0-2) at Arizona Outlaws (0-2)
- Don't do me wrong, Jay Cue. I've got Arizona ending their losing streak in a close win over the Silverbacks. It may not be pretty, but the Outlaws will get the win and keep me undefeated in my money picks. The home field advantage will be just enough here as the Silverbacks will still be looking for their first ever franchise victory.
