Norfolk Seawolves Hall of Fame Inductees
Suleiman Ramza - @Blasoon - S21 Rd. 15 Pck. 6; 118OA
Suleiman Ramza was taken by Norfolk in the S21 DSFL Draft in the 15th round, initially backing up recent Hall of Famer Luke Skywalker. Ramza played 4 years in Norfolk including the Ultimini winning season of 2038. The rookie was not initially featured heavily in his first season at Norfolk but would grow to be an indispensable part of the offence in his second season and continue to thrive in the Norfolk system culminating in leading the Seawolves to back to back Ultiminis. Over his time in Norfolk, Ramza threw for 4,931 yards and 25 TD's whilst also rushing for another three TD's. Week 3 of S24 belonged to Ramza with four total TD's and 222 yards, a statement performance from the QB and a player we're delighted to induct into the Hall of Fame.

Jimi DeSoto - @Jimi64 - S24 Rd. 3 Pck. 8; 24OA
Norfolk selected Jimi with their 3rd pick in the S24 draft to bolster a defense that was looking to go back to the Ultimini. With only one year of his career spent at Norfolk it's impossible to overstate the impact that he's had during his time with the club. Given the chance to look up any encyclopaedia across the globe, you could look up Linebacker and find an image of Jimi DeSoto. His first season at Norfolk saw him with 78 total tackles, two sacks, two interceptions and one of which he returned for a touchdown. The man was nothing short of a defensive menace. This was made manifest in his selection as a Defensive Captain for the team during the S24 campaign. His touchdown return in the Week 4 game against the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers will forever be a highlight reel in Norfolk and with that we're delighted to welcome him to the Norfolk Hall of Fame.

Captain Rogers - @TeyonSchavari - S23 Rd. 3 Pck. 5; 21OA
It's hard to envision the offensive side of the ball in Norfolk without Captain Rogers handling the rock. Him taking a hand off from Ramza was one of the most consistent and terrifying sights for opposing defences and that talent took Norfolk to back to back Ultimini's. In his two years with Norfolk Rogers amassed 2,279 yards on the ground along with nine touchdowns and averaged five yards a carry whilst doing so. His talent was so ubiquitous that during S24 he posted three Offensive Player of the Week performances (Week 1,2 and 12.) A statement player if ever there was one, he continues the tradition of hard nosed downhill runners that represent Norfolk football and we wouldn't be complete if we didn't welcome him into our Hall of Fame.

Rickie Vaughne - @supertardis101 - S23 Rd. 4 Pck. 5; 27OA
Experiencing quite the body transformation Rickie originally arrived at the Seawolves as a staunch O-Lineman before changing position to Cornerback. What would follow would be lockdown performances on the DSFL receivers. Vaughne was a consistent hitman for the Seawolves, with three forced fumbles in S24. This would be one off of the season leader and the top CB to do so. Along with this his 106 tackles, 3 interceptions and one pick six over his time in Norfolk would showcase his versatility that made him such a crucial piece of the Seawolves defence. Not to be a one trick pony however Vaughne would also lead the league in kickoff and punt return touchdowns along with averaging 20 yards per kickoff return and 11 yards per punt return. More than a swiss army knife he was a swiss army chainsaw and a great weapon to have in the Norfolk Hall of Fame.

Melvin Murder-Moose -- @SchwarzNarr – Waiver Acquisition
One may wonder what Daria Guava-Fresca’s career had been like if she had simply given Melvin Murder-Moose his much needed cake, but Norfolk has surely not minded the golden hoof’s tenure as a kicker and punter. Together the pairing forged an unforgettable career for the Seawolves. Guava-Fresca burst onto the DSFL scene and was immediately made her mark as the best kicker in the DSFL. She was a key component in leading the Seawolves to wins in the conference championship and Ultimini, hitting four field goals each in both of those games. For her efforts she made the DSFL pro bowl as kicker and punter, and she also won DSFL Kicker of the Year as the cherry on top. As tragedy struck and Melvin Murder-Moose took over Guava-Fresca’s career, winning ways and winning kicks continued. The highlight of Melvin’s season came with the game winning kick in overtime of the SCL conference finals, propelling the Seawolves to their second consecutive Ultimini berth. Daria and Melvin will be greatly missed as Melvin continues his career as a linebacker in Colorado. Melvin carries Daria’s legacy on his bloody antlers as they grace the Norfolk Hall of Fame.

Dre Matthews -- @Confictional – S23 Rd. 4 Pck 6; 30OA
Somehow slipping to the fourth round, Dre Matthews was a hidden gem for the Seawolves that became a premier wide receiver and one of the most dangerous weapons in the DSFL. After taking the first season to learn the ropes, he catapulted on top of the depth chart to become Norfolk’s top receiver for 2038 and 2039. In his second season he accumulated 70 receptions for 937 yards. In addition, his 9 touchdowns were the most in the league. In a season where Norfolk found great success and won the Ultimini, Matthews was the go-to receiver for any long yardage situation. In his third season, Matthews would find similar success, with 67 catches for 831 yards and 8 touchdowns, once again aiding the Seawolves to have a successful season and playoff run, earning Matthews his second SFC championship. Looking back on his great career, Matthews earned nearly 40% of Norfolk’s passing yards over the course of his last two seasons combined. It will not be easy to find another talent to fill his spot in Norfolk, but we look forward to watching more of his electrifying plays in Philadelphia. Welcome to the Hall of Fame!

Rusty Rucker -- @LancedJack –- S25 Rd. 1 Pck 8; 8OA
Rucker was a highly touted recruit that was under a lot of pressure to fill a great position of need for the Seawolves in 2039. He did not falter under such great expectations, and time and time again he made his impact known on the field, with 91 tackles, 4 tackles for a loss, 7 sacks, 5 passes defended, and a forced fumble. These performances were key in leading the Seawolves to an SFC championship and an Ultimini berth in his only season with Norfolk. It was only later that Norfolk discovered the strange secret to his constant success: game day trips to Lidl. The greatest tackler of the Mean Bean Machines left a permanent mark on the Seawolves through his leadership and fervent passion for Tier 6 equipment. He is the standard by which all other linebackers should be judged by, and we know he will continue to achieve greatness on the field in Honolulu. Rucker belongs in the Norfolk Hall of Fame for being a great player but an even greater man.
