So I've actually been having fun writing weekly predictions for the ISFL. I thought I might try my hand at doing one for DSFL Week 5! I'll admit I haven't been paying the most attention to the DSFL this season, so these will prooooobably be some hot takes.
Week 5

Kansas City suffered a loss at home by double their score in Week 4 while Bondi Beach did the exact opposite; winning on the road by double their opponent's score. While Bondi Beach isn't doing super hot so far this season, Kansas City has a whopping zero wins so far. It's still super early in the DSFL season so win/loss records don't mean a whole lot just yet. I will say that any team that starts the season with four losses is going to be playing focused, and mean. I think Kansas City is going to scoop a close but highly uplifting win over Bondi Beach on their own (wherever Bondi Beach is) turf.

Looks like Kansas City and Bondi Beach simply swap Week 4 opponents with Dallas and Tijuana in Week 5. Dallas picked up their first loss last week but maintain their position at the top of their division. Luchadores are sitting at a break even 2-2 and are looking reclaim their former glory in a repeat of S25. I think Luchadores will be able to defend their home field and make Dallas sweat by tying up the division.

So the second worst team in the DSFL is on the road against the current best team in the DSFL. Does Norfolk have a human team this season or a bunch of bots again? Regardless, Portland has looked lukewarm the past few seasons and is going to be looking to make a serious statement and extend their undefeated streak. They want it. I expect this game to exactly how the stats predict with Portland putting another win in their box.

The Ducks took a tough, tough loss to Portland last week while the Royals absolutely decimated Norfolk. If there's one thing I know London for, it's for staying hungry. I don't believe Minnesota has what it will take to fend off London on the warpath. The Royals want to close that gap with Portland and put them back in their place. I fully expect London to come away with the win this week.
