Hi y'all! I look forward to fielding questions as I embark on the next step in my ball playing career. Feel free to ask me anything.
What team do you hope drafts you in the nsfl? Why is it the sabercats?
I'd feel lucky to play for any team and will give my all regardless of where I'm drafted, though I'll admit that (in no order) Philadelphia, Baltimore, Las Vegas and San Jose are definitely desirable landing spots. If I were to play D2, Portland interests me.
Which WR do you want to throw the ball the most to?
Anyone that'll catch it! I'm a quarterback with a goal to make each of my teammates look good.
What is your favorite dinosaur?
Triceratops.
How does it feel knowing that the starting job for qb is tough to get and only one or two teams are in desperate need of a an?
I've always had a chip on my shoulder, so if anything that only motivates me more. If I wanted to do something that's easy, it wouldn't have been this.
Are you ok with riding a bench?
I'm OK with earning my role.
Would you be willing to switch positions?
I just want to be on the field and I believe my best opportunity to succeed is at quarterback (after all, I did go to the school they call "QBU"), but it's not something I'd be opposed to. I'm an athlete first and foremost.
There's a good chance you get sent to the DSFL by whatever team drafts you. What do you think of the opportunity that the DSFL presents for you? Do you have any teams you would prefer going to?
I'm not opposed to playing in the DSFL by any means. Obviously, I'm a huge competitor, though, so it's not where I intend to stay; I'd be renting a place in whatever city I'm in, not buying. I will say, the DSFL can be a great place to show that I can play when the lights are on and people are watching. I'm no Allen Iverson, I'm a big practice guy, but all that hard work in practice is to prepare you to shine when it comes game time. The DSFL provides that platform. I used to live in Seattle so the idea of returning to the Pacific Northwest to play for Portland is appealing, as is Norfolk since it's only a 3-hour drive from Raleigh and I can still sail, my favorite off the field hobby.
Would you prefer the chance to start for a team that may be in the process of rebuilding, or sitting on the bench for a playoff ready team?
I have no preference. When my opportunity comes knocking, just know I'll be ready.
What would you do if halfway through the season the team that drafts you calls on you to start, whether it's a trade or they just happen to not like the starter anymore?
I'll be prepared. I'll have done my homework about my team internally as well as our opponents externally and I'll relish the chance to show what I can do.
