Why is the bank spreadsheet link not working?
That is what we set off on a quest to figure out by clicking refresh over and over again. We even tried switching browsers, or closing the tab and trying the link again. But in spite of our best efforts, the sheet refuses to load, leaving players such as Tommy Helanen with zero clue how much money they have.
"I'm just gonna withdraw for weekly training and assume I have money," said Helanen. "I would have money if I didn't spend it all any time I get any. Life lessons here."
So why won't it load? Our best guess is that it has to do with the partial government shutdown in America, because we all know that the NSFL is just a way for the United States to collect data on citizens all across the globe and to brainwash them into views that are sympathetic to America. So if Congress ever gets a budget spending bill through and the President doesn't veto it, the bank spreadsheet will be back up. Simple.
"Is the bank down for Christmas? Yeah, looks like it, but nothing bad has ever happened in history when banks lose track of people's money," said an NSFL spokesperson. "If you think about it, it's Google's fault too. They host the spreadsheet, so it's not all our responsibility. Blame them. Blaming a multi-billion dollar corporation is always better."
