Hello everyone and welcome to the Prospect Bowl showcase! Today we will be focusing on a Running back who is joining the DSFL out of Portland Oregon. The Running Back one for the Oregon Ducks, Orien Drake is looking to make a big impact in his first season in the DSFL and is really looking forward to showing the league what he can achieve!
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Pomona Mongoose @ Midwest Wolfpack[/div]
In his first game of the prospect showcase, Orien Drake is lined up as Running back two behind speedster and top running back in the draft class TPE wise in Utler. While the mongoose ended up winning this game 20-12 Drake had a solid first game. He had 11 attempts for 65 yards, 5.9 average yards per carry and 0 receptions for 0 yards. His longest run went for 12 yards which is not too bad of a stat line for his first game. While the Wolfpacks run game had a good show it was the Mongoose run game that really took center stage in this Mongoose win. Drake was happy to get his feet wet in this first game but knows he has a lot more to give and a lot more he can show to the DSFL GM’s.

In his second game Orien Drake went up against the Flint Sun Tropics and had another strong showing. He didn’t get as many yards from the line of scrimmage this game but managed a few more touches of the ball. With 14 attempts he managed 60 yards and 4.3 yards per carry with 0 receptions for 0 yards. Not as good of a showing compared to his first game but he had more volume to work with. The wolfpack managed to come away with the win in this one winning 12-10. While his overall stats were not as impressive as his first game he still managed to extend his longest run of 12 from last game to 22 in week 2.

Game two against the mongoose with the wolf pack hoping for a better result than last time. Unfortunately that was not the case as the wolfpack ended up losing by a very similar score to last game. The Mongoose dominated in the passing game and ended up winning 24-13. While Orien Drake recorded his lowest totals on the ground in week three he was finally activated in the pass game. Orien Drake ran for 8 attempts amassing 35 yards from scrimmage at 4.4 yards per carry with one reception for 4 yards. The longest run that drake achieved this game was for 11 yards.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Midwest Wolfpack @ East Cobras[/div]
This was the first matchup between the cobras and the wolfpack and it was a battle of the defenses as the game ended up being quite low scoring. The game finished 12-9 with the Cobras coming away with the victory. This was the first game where Orien Drake was used as the feature back with Utler playing the Running back two role. Drake rushed for 14 attempts for 55 yards with an average of 3.9 yards per carry and 0 receptions for 0 yards. It was clearly a game in which both offenses struggled. Not a single touchdown was scored in this game and was a battle of the kickers as the Cobras outkicked the wolfpack 4 kicks to 3. Not the best stats for his first game as RB1 but stats Drake hopes to improve on.

Week 5 is when Orien Drake’s Game really started to come to fruition. The woflpack went up against the Sun tropics and managed to win by a score of 17-9 on the backs of a solid wolfpack run game. Orien Drake obtained the most touches he has received in the prospect bowl as of yet with 21 touches. With this fantastic opportunity, Orien Drake ran for 21 attempts totaling 89 yards with an average of 4.2 yards per carry and his first rushing touchdown of the prospect bowl. He also had 1 reception for 5 yards. His longest run went for 14 yards. This was the game that really had players, coaches and fans alike turn their heads in Drakes direction.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]East Cobras @ Midwest Wolfpack[/div]
The final game of the Prospect bowl round robin. In this game the wolfpack had a more runningback by committee approach with all three of the wolfpacks runningbacks had double digit touches. Drake had the second most attempts of all wolfpack running backs totaling 16 attempts for 78 yards with an average of 4.9 yards per carry and a touchdown. His longest run went for 10 yards and he had 0 receptions for 0 yards. This marks the second game in a row that Drake has rushed for a touchdown and leading into the Prospect bowl playoffs this is a great sign for the wolfpack.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Playoffs[/div]
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Midwest Wolfpack @ Pomona Mongoose[/div]
The third meeting between these two teams but the only game that truly mattered. Both offenses were raring to go in this one with the Mongoose hoping to sweep the series and the Wolfpack hoping to show that they shouldn’t be taken lightly. This was a much higher scoring game than the two previous games with a final score of 37-34 for the wolfpack. While Utler had a monster game for the wolfpack, Drake did a fantastic job in the Running back 2 slot supporting a very successful run game. Drake managed 10 attempts for 73 yards with an average carry of 7.3 yards and his third game in a row scoring a touchdown. His longest run went for 27 yards and had 0 yards on 0 receptions. While Utler stole the show in this game Drake proved he can be a reliable running back.
[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Midwest Wolfpack @ East Cobras[/div]
The prospect bowl finals with most people expecting to see a Cobras Vs Mongoose final the wolfpack surprised everyone by coming out on top last week in a high scoring affair. The cobras managed to come out on top with a final score of 20-17. During this championship game Orien Drake ran as the teams Running back 1 with 13 attempts for 88 yards with an average of 6.8 yards per carry and his fourth game in a row scoring a touchdown. Drakes longest run went for 12 yards and he received 0 receptions for 0 yards.
It was Unfortunate to make it all the way to the finals just to lose but Orien Drake was really happy with how his game developed over the course of the prospect bowl. He hopes he can help whichever team selects him in the upcoming DSFL draft by continuing to punch the football into the end zone. He is definitely a unique back in this draft class as most seem to be your stereotypical elusive back with a few receiving backs here or there. Orien Drake is the all purpose back you wont be taking off the field. Whether it be running inside the tackles, outside the tackles or catching the ball in space, Orien Drake is ready to make his mark on the DSFL!
