[div align=\\\"center\\\"]Following a three game win streak through weeks 9-11, the Arizona Outlaws looked poised for yet another playoff birth in S19, however that came to halt in weeks 12 and 13 where the Outlaws would finish the season with a two game losing skid to finish with a record of 5-8, good enough for the fourth seed in the always competitive ASFC division. S12 draftee and long time Outlaws linebacker Raymond Vans is once again set to hit free agency at the end of the season, and this time around to plans to explore that option.
The veteran linebacker has been in the NSFL now for 7 seasons, and has spent all 7 of those years with his drafted team, the Arizona Outlaws. In that time he has built a strong resume including...
5 time Pro Bowler (S14, S15, S16, S17, S18)
2 time LB of the Year (S16, S17)
1 time Defensive Player of the Year (S16)
1 time Ultimus Champion (S16)
and could be in the discussion for more awards in S19 after another strong performance. As of right now he is the 6th ranked Linebacker in terms of TPE, but that could quickly change as he's set to be hit by his second year of regression before the start of S20.[/div]
Why the desire to test FA? Are things going poorly in Arizona?
Far from it. The management team and all it's players are top notch in Arizona and I have nothing but good things to say about them. After several strong seasons though they are directing towards a retool for the next few seasons and with my player about to hit his second year of regression I want to put myself in position to win another Ultimus before I retire.
What are you looking for in FA?
A competitive team in contention to win the Ultimus in S20 (and S21). I will likely retire at the completion of S21, but hey, maybe I won't. As far as money is concerned it's not a big deal. I don't intend to pay for training so all those bucks will go towards my recreate. That being said money could certainly be the dealbreaker if several strong teams are interested.
