Hopefully I will have enough time to write some more rounds of these, but for now, I will settle for the first 2 rounds. The DSFL draft finished a while ago, and the teams are already set, so lets rewind the clock look do some good old analysis. I'm definitely not just doing this for the 1.5 media
. Hopefully later on I'll be able to look at the later rounds, and how each team did as a whole. And without further ado, lets get right on in to pick #1.

Round 1
#1 -
- Cal Lidious - QB - Cal
Cal Lidous was a clear choice to be the number 1 overall pick, as Norfolk did not have another pick (not including GM) until the third round, when most of the QBs would be gone. He already has a ton of TPE, and with him recruiting a ton of this years draft class, he can only expect to get a ton more TPE with the sweet sweet recruitment TPE. I think that he can truly bring Norfolk back to the glory days it once was.
#2 -
- Douglas Quaid - LB - HENDRIX 2.0
Hendrix is going to be able to bring KCC exactly what they need, an established player who will immediately contribute to the team. Hendrix has come back from a leave of absence, and already looks like a sure-fire stud. He should be able to bring the bot defense of KCC into the powerhouse it once was. And with KCC already having their QB of the future in Zero Two (GM) they now have an offensive captain and defensive captain at their disposal.
#3 -
- George O'Donnell - QB - Leafer
The Pythons hope that they can find Jay Sim-God Cue’s replacement. It looks like they may have found their guy as Leafer is a recreate from the very early years of the NSFL, and has already found himself a league job, which is always a good thing to see in a prospect.
#4 -
- Jeffrey LaVert - S - Jeffie43
Jeffrey was one of my personal favorites in this draft ever since I picked him up as a waiver player late in the s19 season. He is the #1 player in this class (no bias) and I believe that once everything gets graded (looking at you wiki), he will be leading the s21 class in tpe. Not only does he get a lot of tpe, he is also probably the most discord active person in this class, myself included. I am thrilled to have Jeff on my team, and Myrtle Beach slowly looks like they are going to have the best DB core in the league, with 3 high earning safeties and a max-earining CB (Dax Frost GM pick) locked in the team. However, the question still remains, who will their QB be?
#5 -
- Ed Barker - RB - Wombat
This was one of the more interesting picks in the draft, as Tijuana picks a running back at the 5th overall pick. RB’s TPE are known to have very little affect in the DSFL, so picking a RB this high, in this loaded of the a class, may be a mistake. Only time will tell… Tijuana and Myrtle Beach both need QB’s at this point in the draft.
#6 -
- Matt Murphy - S - MSombrero
This was a player that I wish I was able to pick, and he is one of the best players in this draft, period. MSombrero has written a ton of media already, and will be a star of the Minnesota defense this year. I just hope I can stay first in his s21 player series. The ducks picked him up off of waivers, and they already knew of his potential.
Round 2
#7 -
- Holden Summers - LB - SemiCharmedMike
SemiCharmedMike (SCM) rose up draft boards and quickly established himself as one of the better players in this draft, and that shows with him being just the 4’th defenseman off the board. His player went to Minnesota (the college) so I am sure he is happy with going to the Grey Ducks. I wish we could have grabbed him.
#8 -
- The Xekutioner - QB - The Xekutioner
Tijuana gets their QB of the future here at pick 8. As the draft was happening live, I questioned it, since the only other team that needed a QB (Us, Myrtle Beach) had their next draft pick in the fourth round, so Tijauna could have waited to grab their DE here, which brings us to their next pick…
#9 -
- Immanuel Blackstone - DE - nunccoepi
I love the pick, but I hate the trade they made to pick him. Tijuana traded away their entire future to get Nunccoepi. This was a great deal by the Portland Pythons, and Tijuana is able to get their legacy pick here. But was it worth the fortune that they paid for? I suppose only time will tell.
#10 -
- Dax Frost - CB - Frostbite
This is the first of three straight GM picks, and Myrtle Beach gets the current TPE leader in the class. Frost is going to be able to fill in very nicely with Kacey Dream leaving to OCO in the offseason. Suddenly, MB has one of the best DB cores in the entire league.
#11 -
- Dorfus Jimbo Jr - DE - ScroappXcFrakcrt
Scrap is another GM pick, and he may be the worst one. Scarop is a DE, who created once the season started in order for Baltimore to be able to use him in s20. SkrulpCXakkre should be able to solidify a leader role on the defense however, and in the Prospect Bowl, he played quite well, so he may be a decent player in the sim. Spork sucks lmap.
#12 -
- Zero Two - QB - Jackets28
The ‘Yotes get their QB, and their GM. Zero Two already looks to be the QB that KCC has always needed. KCC has established their defensive and offensive captains, and now will look to give Zero weapons to build up his stats and his hopeful MVP season.
