After so much preparation, hard work, and practice, the season was over and a new season is already starting. After barely missing the playoffs in Tijuana, Vequain is undoubtedly rather depressed. However, one thing he might have been able to relish was finally being freed from his demonic teammate Thomas Passman, who, although Vequain has never admitted it, has reportedly tortured Vequain during practice, in the locker room, and even in his own home. We last saw him purchasing toilet paper, likely for Passman.
Unfortunately for Vequain, it looks to be that Vequain is destined for a career of misery and sadness. Vequain was looking forward to the NSFL Draft, but probably not for the same reasons as everybody else. Vequain wanted to get drafted not for the joy of being chosen by an NSFL team, but for the relief of being freed from the demonic grasp of Passman. Despite the unbelievably low chances of this happening, Vequain was selected by the Arizona Outlaws. The same team as Thomas Passman. People are already speculating Passman's use of black magic or violence to alter the decisions of NSFL GM's, but these claims are yet to be proven. To his joy, Vequain was informed he will be staying with Tijuana for another season, but with that joy sadness would have quickly followed, knowing that one day he would have to join the locker room once more with Passman.
In somewhat related news, it looks as if Vequain has decided to take up yo-yoing once more. Whether or not this is related to Vequain being sent in to depression, it is unconfirmed, but we have a feeling these two could be related. If you didn't already know, before taking up football, Vequain was a professional yo-yoer at an international level, bringing home national championships. However, when he found football, he found less and less time to yo-yo. If the rumours are true, then Vequain is already training himself up to make a grand return to the yo-yoing stage. Should he return, his first performance will garner international news coverage and millions, if not billions, of watchers. Would he still show the incredible talent that he had in his youth, or will he be a disappointment to all fans? I suppose all we can do for now is sit and wait for Vequain himself to speak out.
It was also recently reported that Passman was seen swinging around Vequain's yo-yo. How he attained that yo-yo we have no clue, considering it is one of a kind and amongst Vequain's most valuable possessions. However, the next day we were informed that Vequain was in hospital being treated for a concussion and multiple broken bones. Probably unrelated.
