Alright. It's been a while since I've done this. The last one I did wasn't happy. I wasn't in the persona I had for Kroustis. It was AirCrou writing those words. It was me releasing steam from what had happened the past few days leading up to my firing. But that's behind us. I turned a new leaf. I retired Kroustis after we finally got that evasive Ultimus victory in Season 23. His corpse is still in Yellowknife for one more season, but I am now focused on a new endeavor, building up a Hall of Fame worthy Tight End, named Cmon Skiuuup.
Nobody asked why I chose that name, but I don't care. I will say what I gotta say. I don't care who reads me. Media pays, so I write it. I chose the name because I was, and still am, a big fan of the FS1 debate show, Undisputed, with our favorite biased analyst, Skip, and a Hall of Fame TE, Shannon Sharpe. My render is a screenshot from the show as well. If you scour the forum, you can find it. The phrase "Cmon Skiuuup" Unc Shay kept using when Skiuuup would come out biased, especially in favor of MJ or against Bron caught up with me. And I drew inspiration from it. Because that's what the league is about. Having fun and memeing. Not going over the top with that though, right guys? Keep it classy! We already have had two suspensions for that. No more, please!
Where is Cmon though? Well, he was drafted in the DSFL from Dallas. He slid all the way down to 94. Am I still pissed about it? Very. But it is what it is. The DSFL is just the buildup process. ISFL is where the fun really begins. I haven't won an Ultimini, may not win it this season, may not win it at all. But I don't care. I used to. Now I don't. I have won an Ultimus. And I want more of those. But that's in the future. I am still in Dallas, and that's where my focus should be, until the ISFL draft at least.
The sim hasn't really given us good things. After 9 games, we sit at the bottom of our division, with a 3-6 record. Thankfully, the season is so close, that with 5 games to go, we are only 2 games behind Tijuana and Norfolk, who are tied for 2nd, with a 5-4 record. It's still up for grabs. With a bit of simluck, I think we can do it. The GMs and the whole testing crew we have in Dallas is more than capable of finding the flaws and what should be done for us to have the best chance to win games. And to be honest, not having as many send downs as other teams kinda hurts. But it is what it is. DSFL is just a bumpy ride we all have to go through.
After all that, I'd like to announce a new series I will do, called "Pack Opening Review", where I will open the daily pack while writing a real-time review of it. Think of it like an unboxing, but in text. I don't think I got the setup I need to do it in a podcast form, nor the willingness. And it won't even be long enough to get money. If my math is right, a short writeup pays more than a podcast of the same thing. Writing this, I am using the wordcounter.net. Looking at my stats, up to this point, if I speak what I have written so far, it will be around three and a half minutes, which is a bit over $200k, while 600 words in written form is a bit $904k. But I will get more in-depth about it in a series of articles I will post sometime soon when I am done with university exams and driving permit lessons, called "The Economy of the League", where I will analyze the state of the league and propose solutions to existing problems.
