There was a lot of memories that I will never forget from this season. Being a member and the quarterback for the Portland pythons is some thing that I hold very dear to my heart and I’m very honored to be in this position. I try to make the most of each day in the locker room with the boys as well as put my best foot forward as a member of this organization. In this little piece that I would want to share with you our three of my favorite memories of this season. They’re not in any particular order but they’re just three that stand out to me that I’m glad happen the way they did and it makes me feel good to reminisce and look back at these events. Before I start I wanna say none of this would be possible without the great teammates that I have as well as the people that surround me and help me be my best in the international simulation football league.
With that being said let’s jump in to my first memory that I’m glad happened it was the very first regular season game this year. The Portland pythons were going up against the London Royals and we came out on top grabbing the first win of the season. We kicked a field goal in the first quarter and they retaliated by scoring a 2 yard rushing touchdown. In the beginning of the second quarter I threw a perfect dime to my favorite wide receiver and best friend Quavious McGrady. It was a 7 yard touchdown pass and it brought us into the lead with 10 to 7 on the score board and we never looked back after that. It meant a lot that I got to throw my first touchdown of the year to my best friend. It was difficult to get them on the team but it showed dividends that we were able to have a 13 and 1 record and almost winning the championship.
My second favorite memory of the year was when I broke a 43 yard touchdown run against the Kansas City coyotes. Never in 1 million years would I think that I’d be able to run for a touchdown that far. I’m a pocket passing QB so I’m not the fastest but the fact that I broke one and brought it all the way to the house was amazing. I made a Twitter video and got some love for that funny clip. It was great leading the DSFL in rushing yards and not even being a mobile quarterback. So when people say I don’t have wheels I just shown that clip and lead that do the talking for me. I’m kind of sad that I’ll be a lot slower after the new archetype builds but at least I’ll have this memory to look back up.
The last favorite memory I have was in my opinion the best game I had all season against the Minnesota Grey ducks. We won that game with a very commanding 42 to 14 victory. I had one in my opinion is my best performance going for 274 yards three touchdowns. I was able to find Mario Messi for 2, 13 yard touchdown completions. I also threw a 6 yard touchdown pass to Stone jackman completing my hat trick. I wish I could dominate in that way every single game but at the end of the day the most important thing is getting the win.
These three memories just stick out to me because they were great personal achievements and I’m glad that I was in a position where I could be successful and get wins for my team.
