My suggestion for this was to tier equipment price based on player TPE (as we do with contracts, and attributes themselves), which then doesn't increase available TPE.

But I think the response to that was that it would be too much work for bankers (I disagree personally, and it's not like I don't know what bankers do, but whatevs)

Anyways, this is partly why I suggested the move to a more automated system for these sorts of things (updates, training etc). That way you could build a shop in PHP or something, which automatically retrieves the player's TPE and displays the correct equipment price (for example), getting around the whole "too much work" issue.

I think you shouldn't be able to pay a player below their minimum, even if they did sign when they were in a lower bracket. Simple.

The lack of support came from none of the GMs wanting forced contact changes during the life of the contract. And also it limits GMs severely.

Just as taking money out of the system via stricter media payout limits or removal limits players themselves really only leads to less media.

It's no surprise the team that benefited the most from the flawed system opposes it, even though 25% of the team's starters were mutlis for a 3 season stretch.
