Long story short somehow I got like super in debt so now it's time for me to write a long ass article about the league and how much I love it to show the great people of this nation that I'm super invested or something. I don't have the time to do this so it's currently one in the morning as I start this great venture into making the best article you have ever seen, and I can already tell by how this is starting that it's going to be complete and absolute shit. But nonetheless, I will continue and move forward with what will mostly likely be the worst collection of words I've ever written and that could probably have been done way easier as a podcast (added in retrospect). So today in order to show my appreciation for the league I will be going over a quick summary of I guess every single player on the Philadelphia Liberty roster and talking about my interactions with the user and the player's current build plus their performance in the sim because I need to drag this article out to like 3,000 words just to get back in the green on my bank account (maybe a little less than that now that I have finally been paid for PPT. We're going to be going from top to bottom, and if you don't want to read poorly formatted late night musings than just don't read this article cause I can not promise anything but just that.

So unfortuntely this has to start with me talking about myself because I happen to be the newest member of the team. To sum up my history on the site I'm most well known for doing nothing and seeming to disparate constantly, as well as for somehow not being a part of the Liberty discord to this day. I chose to make a strong safety because I wanted to directly line up against Nick and his player Antonio Summer but he consistently has shown that he's building a better player than me so I regret the decision because instead I gave him something else to rub in my face constantly. I'm currently a part of the progression team and you'll mostly see me grading predictions because looking at a list of letters and translating that too numbers is all I'm good for I guess, but you might see me more often now since I'll be applying for the head position.

So honestly I chose run support for the express purpose of playing primarily strong safety and that's what I got, and man it is definitely the least fun position to play as a defensive back in terms of stats. I sometimes get like eight tackles a game, and other times I'll post like a sack and a tackle and that's it. It's a pretty weird archetype to play so far but whatever. So far I've put a lot of focus into maxing out my speed and hands so that I can salvage at least some kind of pass defense, but I'm making sure to keep my strength and agility up as well. I read somewhere that tackling doesn't actually affect tackling very much which seems kind of stupid but oh well.
Stats
So at one point I was doing okay and was like somewhere near the top of the list in tackles, but I've completely fallen off now and I'm pretty much irrelevant. That's okay I guess. I currently have a stat line of thirty seven tackles, one forced fumble that I also recovered, a sack, a pass defended, and an interception. To go along with the running joke in the league that TPE doesn't matter when it comes to kicker's, I don't know why anyone would choose any build other than balanced but I guess he went with accurate. He definitely is putting all of his points in to that attribute and is building the type of kicker that you would expect to nail every single kick no matter what and have a great leg for picking a spot on the field but since we don't even get to see what kick or punt returns look like, or even where the ball lands for that matter in this simulation, I guess we'll never know. Looks like power is the next attribute he's upgrading. That's cool. If you can't tell I don't know what I'm talking about I'm just trying to reach a similar word count for him as I did with myself so I don't look self absorbed.
Stats
Long story short his build isn't working at all and he's currently one of the least dependable extra point players in the league, not to mention his chances of making a field goal. The guy is currently only getting 2/3 field goals a game, which means that based upon the number that he's taken he's made his team lose out on twelve points this season which is rough. He did miss all the long ones so maybe this is an example of his power not being up there and the sim actually caring about attributes. His punts are pretty decent you could say, we happen to have to give the ball away a lot here in Philadelphia so that's good.

I'm going to make a random guess and say that speed rusher is probably the best archetype that you can choose as a linebacker, and that's because these boys gotta go fast. Becker definitely gets that done, with a massive 88 speed, making him faster than I am which I find quite entertaining. His strength and agility are strong as well, and his ability to make the tackle is solid. He really will succeed in his career though with his early work to endurance which will allow him to play games late into the fourth quarter where he can still perform at peak levels.
Stats
Becker's stats make me feel a little bit better about myself, and that's only because I expected him to perform at an all-star level based upon his early progression through his build and instead I got an average linebacker which is totally normal for a rookie. He currently has thirty three tackles which is very respectable and puts him on pace for over eighty, plus he's got two TFLs, two sacks, and four times my passes defended so he's basically doing my job better than I am right now. First of all can someone please tell me the difference between centre and center because one is wrong and one is right and I don't understand why. Maybe it's because I'm French. Anyways I'll make another prediction and say that this is probably the best archetype for a safety to run, especially because of that crazy speed max that lets you be a god at the hundred meter dash (omg also tell me the difference between metre and meter). His speed is already crazy high, but he hasn't neglected his hands or agility, plus his intelligence is decent although he needs to get that strength and tackling up there for the complete build. Otherwise, solid shit.
Stats
Garnett has been having a pretty solid season so far this year, putting up twenty tackles which isn't the worst for a free safety. He's also added three interceptions and three passes defended (I don't know if PD's count as interceptions, if they do well that's boring). All in all his stats are pretty good for a first year coverage safety archetype, and I'm sure he's really going to explode into a more heavily statted season in the coming years. So far Felix is building into a massive player, and already being almost maxed out at speed will be awesome for him and his stat line. He's been burning up turf, but his agility is still pretty low and once that gets higher I assume he will perform even better. His intelligence is great so he has an apptitude to read the play and get to the ball in time to make the stop, and his endurance is awesome so you can expect to see him play full minutes all season long. One area that I think really does need work is his hands which will obviously help him get those interceptions and pass defenses, but otherwise he's close to max on both strength and tackling which is neat.
Stats
My previous statements about being able to get his hands on the ball would have been redacted but I need that succulent word count so I'm leaving it in and using this section as an editor's note. Cornerback's aren't made for tackles, but Felix still has a solid thirty on the season, but he really excels in the pass defense game where he has four interceptions and eleven passes defended. This guy is massive for making sure that no balls are coming to any receivers that the Liberty play against. On to the next one.

(MAX: 25) Kick Accuracy: 1
Well, he's pretty much maxed in every meaningful statistic I guess, with his intelligence, speed, agility and strength all being at their peak. His hands has a tiny bit of room to go, but its not like defensive ends are really gunning for interceptions or passes defended, and his tackling could go up a bit, but again a defensive end is more focused on sacks than tackles. His endurance is solid, meaning he can go the whole game without getting tired at all, but will need a little more to be elite level.
Stats
Weathers has been awesome for the Liberty this season and is really the veteran presence on the field that the guys needed. He currently boasts twenty one sacks and an insane seven TFLs not to mention a solid three sacks and a safety (one of very few league wide this season). He is one of the biggest impact players on the team despite playing at a position where you don't really expect to add a guy who specializes in being a difference maker, but that's a good thing.
Anyways, that's where we come to and end. I don't know if this will be enough money to support me forever, but if it isn't I'll find some other way to go about getting my word count in. I was going to add in Carter Bush but I really didn't want to write over the three hundred estimated words that I was targeting for what would be enough to get me positive again, so instead I just left him out and now I'm wondering if I should go back and do him anyways since he's like kind of defensive (idk) for our team. As I pass 2900 words I have decided against it and that I would rather just go to bed since it is nearing two in the morning and Nick's snoring from across the room is becoming the most desired thing that I want coming out of my mouth. I am now going to proceed to fill the last thirty or so words of this article with really drawn out sentences that will increase my word count to the slightest of margins in order to get over the three thousand mark. Done.

Done.
