Show Me The Money!
My name is Rod Tidwell, I was born in Arizona. I went to Arizona State. I am a Sun Devil. What I like most though is playing this game of Football. I will catch you all the catches and win you all the wins. While I was playing this game of football as a child, I would run by everyone and make those special kinds of catches. People have always doubted me, but not my man, not my agent, not my brother, Jerry. Jerry always believed in me man, ALWAYS. Now I’m out here to let you know, no let the world know who I am. I am Rod “Money’ Tidwell. You heard it here first. I will be the greatest receiver to ever play this game and you will SHOW ME THE MONEY.
Let’s talk about little baby Rod Tidwell. When Rod Tidwell was born, he was a small thing, but he had strong hands. Rod Tidwell’s mother couldn’t stop him from grabbing and latching on. Rod Tidwell needed that nourishment, because he was destined to play football and be a star. Rod Tidwell’s mom quickly noticed his propensity to grab things and not let go. At the young age of 2 he was witnessed throwing balls in the air and running after them and grabbing them with a flourish. Yes, Rod Tidwell was so good he could already run at 2 years old. Soon thereafter Rod Tidwell’s parents gave him a football and he never let go. Then it was onto pop warner. Rod Tidwell played with the bigger kids, he though he was the smallest out there, nobody could catch him. He would pluck balls out of the air with his amazing jumping ability. That’s how Rod Tidwell do.
Alright now you know about little baby Rod Tidwell, but let’s chat a bit about high school Rod Tidwell. This is where Rod Tidwell learned about the Kwan. What is the Kwan you ask, well the Kwan is both everything and nothing. The Kwan means, love, respect, money, family, life, charity, and if you have none of those things then you have no Kwan. Let me tell you a man cannot live without the Kwan. Back to football though. Rod Tidwell played well at Chandler High School. He caught the catches and scored the touchdowns. The biggest thing though that happened at Chandler High, besides the kwan, was being accepted into Arizona State University. Rod Tidwell was finally a Sun Devil man! This is really where our journey begins.
Rod Tidwell is a Sun Devil. Say it with me! Rod Tidwell is a SUN DEVIL. DON’T IT FEEL GOOD TO SAY IT! ROD TIDWELL IS A SUN DEVIL. That’s what I’m talking about! Just a little more joy to add to my Kwan. Rod Tidwell also met my beautiful wife Marcee at ASU. More Kwan man. My freshmen year Rod Tidwell was already setting records. The Pac-12 couldn’t stop Rod Tidwell. Rod Tidwell, caught more passes, for more yards, and for more touchdowns then anyone ever has as a Sun Devil. That makes Rod Tidwell, the greatest Sun Devil to ever live. Yet, Rod Tidwell is still being doubted? No way could that be true, but it is. Too short they say, too slow they say, to outspoken they say, well let them say what they want. Rod Tidwell is going to get what he deserves, and he deserves a lot. SHOW ME THE MONEY and my Kwan will be happy.
Now let’s talk a bit more about this Kwan thing. What is the Kwan you ask? I talked about it a bit before, but it’s love, respect, community, but it’s mostly about money. Why is it about money? Well, if you don’t have the money you can’t have the community. The community is where you live, the things you own, the people around you. Money helps you live in a nice place, have a family, anchors you to a city, there fore it is essential to your Kwan. When you have all of that, you will gain respect. You play hard you gain respect and you get SHOWN THE MONEY, therefore gaining your Kwan. See these things are all tied together. The more money, the more Kwan, get my feeling?
As we look towards the draft Rod Tidwell is excited. He is going to get shown the money and play some football. Rod Tidwell will go to whoever wants him the most and he will play hard and earn respect. Then you have to SHOW ME THE MONEY or I’ll find someone who will. You hear that, oh yeah we hear that, that’s millions of screaming fans… TIDWELL, TIDWELL, TIDWELL, don’t you want that? DON’T YOU WANT THAT? DAMN IT SOUNDS GOOD. SHOW ME THE MONEY.
