NEWS OUT OF BROOKLYN
From the Sim League Management HQ in Brooklyn, coming out of meetings with more than half of the league - Free Agent Superstar Danny Grithead @Trautner has made a decision as to his future.
He will be joining the Yellowknife Wraiths for the S16 season.
Sources say were several factors in the decision, but the Wraiths offer of a 11M in year one with a 10M player option in year 2 was a big one. There was one other team that offered a little more money, but the passion in which the war room members, and general managers gave their pitch was apparently the deciding factor.
Grithead is coming off an outstanding S15 season, where he had 104 tackles, 2 forced fumbles, 16 passes defended and 12 sacks. He's moving to a Wraiths defense, and sources inside of SLM are hoping for big things from the Wraiths and Grithead specifically.
On his way out of headquarters in Brooklyn a reporter caught up to Mr. Grithead where he gave the following statement. "Yellowknife management and their fans' support was overwhelming and heartening. I truly feel happy to join a historic organization with sights towards re-capturing glory, alongside rising stars Cooter Bigsby and Nate Swift. Let's go Wraiths!"

SLM has one more superstar free agent remaining on the market, Ultimus Champion Vinny Valentine (@Unicorn). Sources say he's narrowing his decision, and hopes to choose a destination in the next couple days.
Additionally Iam Essellemm is speaking with teams about the prospect of drafting two S16 draft prospects, the most talented player in the draft Dermot Lavelle Jr. @White Cornerback, and underrated Offensive Lineman @Ben Ben Tu'inukuafe, about where they might end up.
It's been a busy offseason for SLM's debut season. It will be interesting to see where it ends up.
