Fresh news out of New Orleans - the New Orleans Second Line have named SLM Client Tom Hanks (a close adviser to their star running back Forrest Gump) the Head Coach of the Second Line.
Hanks was the play caller for the Second Line last season and has stepped up to the official role of head coach, calling the plays and trying to help the Second Line make the playoffs. Hanks' head coaching career got off to a strong start last night in a dominating win against the Austin Copperheads.
Sources inside the Second Line organization say Hanks played a large part in the stunning draft that New Orleans had, which secured itself some great talents including great SLM talents like Action Jackson and Jordan Andrews.
When asked for a comment New Orleans General Manager Julian O'Sullivan had this to say; "We are excited to bring Tom to the team long term and we welcome him as the head coach for the team, a position we believe he will excel in and lead the team to a lot of success."
New Orleans Co General Manager, Terry Ball-Hippo added "Tom and I have known each other since our Prospect Bowl days (go Grizzlies!), and I'm thrilled to see him as head coach. He's a brilliant strategist and his insight will be a key component of all our future success. I'm proud to have him as a member of the New Orleans organization"
