Inspiration for this comes from NFL Title Belt.
I wanted to create something similar for the NSFL and track it every week. Basically, the winner of the first Ultimus was awarded the NSFL Title Belt. They keep it until they lose a game, in which case the belt passes to the team that beat them. Pretty simple, but should be fun to see what teams have had it the most and who currently has it. The Outlaws won the first Ultimus, so they start with the belt. In the rare instance of a tie, I determined that it would stay with the team that had the belt. If there is no info in the Playoff section of a season it's because the team that had the belt at the end of the season didn't make the playoffs.

The Otters are by far the team that has held the belt the longest at 65 times. No other team has come close to that. Of the 7 times the Ultimus has also had the title belt on the line the belt has changed teams 3 times in those instances.
As you can see the Otters are currently on a 9 game streak with the belt. In week 7 they played a close game with the Hawks. The Otters scored a Dexter Banks touchdown with less than 2 minutes to go in the first half to make it 17 to 10 at halftime. After a few more scores from both teams the Hawks made it a 3 point game with 13 minutes to go on a Ludicolo Bigby rushing touchdown to make it 27 to 24 Otters. The Otters scored twice in the final 2:12 to make the final score 41 to 24.
The Otters travel to New Orleans to take on the Second Line on the road in week 8. Will their title belt streak continue or will they finally give it up?
