Sim Rep: Game London Royals at Tijuana Luchadores. Luchadores won 24 to 20. Offensive player of the game is running back Bronko Mills of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 22 rushing attempts for 97 yards, an average run of 4.4 yards, a long of 11 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 reception for 5 yards.
Agent Tesla: Mills made their mark in the first quarter after a takeaway by getting a 6 yard run on first and goal that they followed up with a 4 yard touchdown run on second and goal. Long run of the day came in the second quarter where they managed 11 yards to convert a first and ten. That drive would end in a 1 yard touchdown run by Mills on third and goal. Defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Swantavious Jones of the London Royals with a stat line of 10 tackles, 1 sack, 1 forced fumble, and 2 fumble recoveries.
Agent Tesla: I have to be honest that I did not expect to see a stat line like that out of a cornerback, but great job by Swantavious to hit with some force! First and ten in the first quarter and a tackle by van Perkins forced a fumbles that Jones would recover and return for 25 yards for an instant red zone opportunity. Third quarter saw the magic play happen though as on second and five Swantavious Jones got an 11 yard sack; forced a fumble, and then returned it 14 yards to get another instant red zone opportunity.
Game two of week five please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Minnesota Grey Ducks at Dallas Birddogs. Birddogs won 30 to 10. Offensive player of the game is running back Bob Murphy of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 27 rushing attempts for 95 yards, an average run of 3.5 yards, a long of 9 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 2 receptions for 17 yards, an average reception of 8.5 yards, and a long of 11 yards.
Agent Tesla: Murphy had plenty of good plays, but the highlights started with the first play of the second quarter as they ran in a 5 yard touchdown on second and goal. Second and goal and the second quarter proved to be the magic combination for Murphy as they managed a 4 yard touchdown run there on the second drive of the quarter. Kept up their preference for quarter and down symmetry in the third quarter where on a third and eight they had their longest play of the day in the form of an 11 yard reception. Next is defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Richard Leaking of the Dallas Birddogs with a stat line of 11 tackles, 1 sack, and 3 passes defended.
Agent Tesla: A valuable stat line and they led their team in all three categories! First highlight of the day for Leaking came in the second quarter on a second and fifteen where they broke up a pass on a drive that would end in a punt. Third quarter they broke up a pass on third and seven to force yet another punt. Best play of the day though was a 7 yard sack on third and ten in the fourth quarter that forced the opposition to use a coveted timeout and face a fourth and seventeen.
Game three of week five if you would please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Portland Pythons at Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. Buccaneers won 20 to 12. Offensive player of the game is running back 3' Jeffrey of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 21 rushing attempts for 86 yards, an average run of 4.1 yards, a long of 9 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: A routine name to see in these highlights and given their stats you can see why! Their first highlight was also their first play and longest play as they opened up the game for their offense with a 9 yard run on their first first and ten of the day. Also added a 2 yard touchdown run on first and goal in the third quarter to win themself this award. Defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Myles Smith of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 14 tackles and 1 forced fumble.
Agent Tesla: Third and thirteen in the first quarter and Smith answers the call after a 4 yard run to have the drive end in a punt. Early in the third quarter had a terrific tackle on second and ten that was good enough to force a fumble. Contributed consistently throughout the game to earn this recognition from the sim.
Last game of week five if you would please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Kansas City Coyotes at Norfolk Seawolves. Seawolves won 10 to 3. Offensive player of the game is running back Sergio Kitchens of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 20 rushing attempts for 102 yards, an average run of 5.1 yards, a long of 12 yards, and 1 reception for 2 yards.
Agent Tesla: Kitchens first key contribution came early in the second quarter where they converted a first and ten with a 10 yard run. Longest play of the day for Kitchens came in the third quarter on a second and nine that they converted with a 12 yard run. Best play of the day for Kitchens was a run on third and ten in the fourth quarter that went for 10 yard for a first down on a drive that would end in points for the team. Defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is strong safety Xmus Flaxon Jaxon-Waxon of the Norfolk Seawolves with a stat line of 6 tackles and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: What a name have we got here! Now first big play of the day for Jaxon-Waxon came on a second and four in the second quarter where they secured a 6 yard sack on a drive htat would end in a punt. Really came in clutch in the third quarter with a tackle after a 3 yard gain on a first and ten that would end in a turnover on downs as they were just able to keep the opposition behind the sticks.
First game of week six please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Dallas Birddogs at Myrtle Beach Buccaneers. Buccaneers won 21 to 18. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Owen Holloway of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 7 of 16 for 61 yards, 1 touchdown, a passer rating of 75.3, 8 rushing attempts for 176 yards, an average run of 22 yards, a long of 87 yards, and 2 touchdowns.
Agent Tesla: Holloway absolutely destroyed the highlight reel from their first snap with an 87 yard touchdown run on first and ten. Showed off their passing skills with a 5 yard touchdown pass on second and goal in the closing seconds of the second quarter. Third touchdown came in the third quarter on a second and one that they turned into points with a 5 yard run. Defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Hank Winchester of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 9 tackles and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: Second and one in the second quarter and Winchesters secures a 6 yard sack on a drive that would end in a punt. Kept up their contributions through the fourth quarter where they made a tackle in bounds on a third and ten after the two minute warning to force the opposition to use their last timeout which made finishing off the game possible on the next drive.
Game two of week six please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Kansas City Coyotes at Minnesota Grey Ducks. Coyotes won 31 to 21. Offensive player of the game is running back Jameson Vermillion of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 16 rushing attempts for 163 yards, an average run of 10.2 yards, a long of 89 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: They might only have the one highlight from this game, but oh what a highlight it will be! Vermillion does have at least one additional highlight as they converted a second and eight on the first drive for the team with an 11 yard run that gave them a first and goal that would be converted into a touchdown. Biggest play of the day for Vermillion though has to be the third quarter third and five 89 yard touchdown run! Now tell me the defense is as exciting please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Wasrabi Gleel of the Minnesota Grey Ducks with a stat line of 12 tackles and 1 sack.
Agent Tesla: Gleel got theirs in early with a 6 yard sack on second and ten on the very first drive of the game. Added to the highlights in an interesting way between the third and fourth quarter where they had the last two tackles of the third quarter and the first two tackles of the fourth quarter. Added the last tackle of the game to prove that they do not quit until the game is done.
Game three of week six now please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Norfolk Seawolves at London Royals. Royal won 33 to 13. Offensive player of the game is running back Danny King of the London Royals with a stat line of 15 rushing attempts for 125 yards, an average run of 8.3 yards, a long of 46 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 reception for 6 yards.
Agent Tesla: Danny King's best plays of the day are easy to spot in my opinion as their first came when they ran it in from 24 yards out for a touchdown on first and ten in the second quarter. While arguably their best came on a third and two in the second quarter where they ran it in from 46 yards out for the touchdown. Long touchdown runs make my job much easier! Now tell us about the defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Juan Domine of the London Royals with a stat line of 8 tackles, 1 for loss, 3 sacks, and 1 pass defended.
Agent Tesla: Another stat line where it should be easy to spot the big name plays! First big play for Domine came in the second quarter on a first and ten that they set back significantly with their 6 yard sack. Their best play in my book was on the next drive though where they scored a 7 yard sack on third and ten to force a punt. Although their broken up pass on third and ten in the fourth quarter to force a punt was also pretty good. Their last big name play came with just about a minute left to play as they secured another 6 yard sack on a first and ten to help close out the game.
Last game of the doubleheader please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Tijuana Luchadores at Portland Pythons. Luchadores won 34 to 27. Offensive player of the game is running back Crowbar Theeks of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 20 rushing attempts for 109 yards, an average run of 5.4 yards, a long of 15 yards, and 2 touchdowns.
Agent Tesla: Theeks got their long play of the day out early on their very first touch a first and ten in the first quarter that they carried forward on a 15 yard run. Got their first points of the day early in the second quarter through a 4 yard touchdown run on first and goal. Added the most important points of the day though through a 2 yard touchdown run on third and goal in the fourth quarter that would give the team the win. Tell us about defense now please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Terry Tate of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 4 tackles, 1 for loss, and 2 sacks.
Agent Tesla: A fiery first quarter saw Terry Tate manage a 6 yard sack on third and four to force a punt. They also came in on the last play of the game to add another sack; this time for 7 yards on a third and nine that would close out the game.
There you have it folks the highlights of the doubleheader. Thank you for your patience and I will see you next time!
Week #7 Broadcast
Agent Tesla: Hello dear DSFL readers! We are at the halfway point of the season and so I am here to bring you the highlights from week seven! Joining me just like usual is Sim Rep who will tell us what the sim says. Please tell us about the first game Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Norfolk Seawolves at Tijuana Luchadores. Luchadores won 23 to 14. Offensive player of the game is running back Crowbar Theeks of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 16 rushing attempts for 100 yards, an average run of 6.2 yards, a long of 12 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: Theeks first big play of the day came towards the end of the second quarter on a first and goal that they converted with a 9 yard touchdown run. Their next highlight is two terrific plays starting with a 9 yard run to convert a third and four in the third quarter, and followed by a long 12 yard run to convert the subsequent first and ten. They managed similar just two drives later in the third quarter opening with their long run of the day of 12 yards to convert a second and ten, and finishing it off with a 10 yard run on the following first and ten. Next is defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is cornerback Mason Gillion of the Tijuana Luchadores with a stat line of 2 tackles, 1 pass defended, and 1 interception touchdown.
Agent Tesla: I will preemptively say they may only have one highlight, but in a game that was just barely a two score game that one highlight mattered a lot. First and ten towards the end of the third quarter starting on the Norfolk thirty-one yard line is when Gillion made their gambit and got a 35 yard interception returned for a touchdown for their troubles. Only two other plays in the game log, but that one play is enough to win them honors here.
Please tell us about the second game of week seven now Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game London Royals at Kansas City Coyotes. Coyotes won 26 to 23. Offensive player of the game is tackle Clay Stallworth of the Kansas City Coyotes with a stat line of 0 penalties for 0 yards, 13 pancakes, and 0 sacks allowed.
Agent Tesla: Fair rubs friends! This I believe is the first time I have ever seen an offensive line player win offensive player of the game and I am so incredibly thrilled about that! Admittedly it does cause me a slight issue as I normally go off the game log to write these highlights, however the game log does not include pancakes. In honor of this rare occasion though I will copy by hand the pancakes as they occur for this momentous occasion. If you are wondering that is part of why this is a bit late.
Stallworth did not get their start until the second quarter when they recorder their first pancake on a 10 yard run on first and ten. Their second pancake came just a few players later on a 2 yard run on first and ten. The opening drive of the second quarter might as well have been IHOP as Stallworth recorded their third pancake on a 5 yard touchdown run on first and goal. Fourth pancake of the day came on a 6 yard pass on third and ten on their second drive of the second quarter. Fifth of the day came blocking for a 4 yard run on second and two on the third drive of the second quarter. Stallworth secured their sixth pancake on a 16 yard pass on third and eight that same drive. Seventh came down on a 4 yard second and goal run. Eighth pancake was a big one as it allowed for a 22 yard touchdown pass on second and six towards the end of the first half. Ninth pancake came halfway through the third quarter on a 4 yard pass on first and ten. Stallworth got to double digits blocking for a 3 yard run on third and nine in the third quarter. Early in the fourth Stallworth got their 11th on an 8 yard pass on third and four to set up a first and goal. Added another one shortly thereafter on a 4 yard pass play on a first and ten to get their dozen. Baker's dozen achieved on an 11 yard pass play to convert a second and three halfway through the fourth quarter.
Now I just want to point out that is eight pancakes in one quarter for Stallworth. What a second quarter! Now back to your regularly scheduled program. Take us away with defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is linebacker Busch Light of the London Royals with a stat line of 14 tackles and 2 sacks.
Agent Tesla: I just want to say I love that the two players of the games are statistical counterparts in a way. Now let us see how many highlights we can find for Busch Light! Light got their start earlier in the game with a 7 yard sack on a first and fifteen in the first quarter to set the opposition back. Followed it up on the very next play with a tackle at the line of scrimmage to help lead to a punt. Added a third big play on a third and goal in the second quarter that they stopped two yards short of the end zone. They opened up the second half with a 6 yard sack to set the tone from the very first snap of the half as well. A great game all around!
Third game of the week please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Myrtle Beach Buccaneers at Minnesota Grey Ducks. Buccaneers won 26 to 6. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Owen Holloway with a stat line of 8 for 12 on passing attempts for 89 yards, an average pass of 11.1 yards, 1 touchdown, a passer rating of 116.3, 9 rushing attempts for 87 yards, an average run of 9.7 yards, a long of 39 yards, and 1 touchdown.
Agent Tesla: Holloway's first highlight of the day is also their best play of the day as they scored a 39 yard touchdown on a first and ten in the second quarter. Their best drive though came over the course of the third and fourth quarters where they had a 31 yard run to convert a first and ten in the third quarter. That drive would then end in a 26 yard touchdown pass by Holloway on a first and ten in the fourth quarter. Now tell us about defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is strong safety Teddy Utterstruzen of the Myrtle Beach Buccaneers with a stat line of 10 tackles, 1 sack, and 1 safety.
Agent Tesla: Second play of the second quarter on a third and twenty-seven Utterstruzen secured a 4 yard sack for a safety! Second play of the third quarter Utterstruzen made a tackle close to the line of scrimmage on second and nine; that would lead to a third and long which ended in a takeaway for their team. Utterstruzen also had a big play in the fourth quarter with a tackle on second and ten that again forced a third and long; this one only ended in forcing a punt though.
Last game of week seven please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Game Dallas Birddogs at Portland Pythons. Pythons won 38 to 3. Offensive player of the game is quarterback Sam Howitzer of the Portland Pythons with a stat line of 20 for 30 on passing attempts, 164 yards, an average pass of 8.2 yards, 4 touchdowns, a passer rating of 120, and 1 rushing attempt for 2 yards.
Agent Tesla: Well that stat line makes my job easy! Howitzer's got their big play debut in the second quarter with a 7 yard touchdown pass on a second and goal. The second half was where they really stepped it up though with a 9 yard touchdown pass on a third and seven on the opening drive. First drive of the fourth quarter Howitzer finished it off with a 9 yard touchdown pass on a second and five. Last highlight of the day for Howitzer came with less than five minutes to play on a first and ten that they converted with a 10 yard touchdown pass. Now tell us about the defense please Sim Rep!
Sim Rep: Defensive player of the game is Drake's first highlight came in the second quarter with a tackle on second and fifteen that would help force a punt on that drive. What won them this honor though is their fourth quarter play on fourth and two where they intercepted the ball right around midfield and returned it 51 yards for a touchdown. That play absolutely shattered any chance the opponents had to get a comeback victory and makes this a well deserved shout out for them.
Thanks for your patience this week. I hope this upcoming set of games treats you and your teams well!
Agent Tesla: Hello my lovely readers of the DSFL! I am here today once again to bring you highlights from the exciting doubleheader that was week 5 & 6! Joining me as always is Sim Rep who represents the sim. No further introduction is necessary I feel; so please carry on Sim Rep!

Also added a 2 yard touchdown run on first and goal in the third quarter to win themself this award. Defense please Sim Rep!
