Well, another few days have passed and the pack continue to flow here in the International Simulation Football League as people flaunt their amazing pulls meanwhile I'm stuck with a bunch of bums. (Sorry not sorry) I guess the one positive that arises is that I get to learn more about the players that came before me but made a smaller impact and often are lost in the cycle of the league.
From these two packs five players emerged as the most interesting and worth of taking in a little more of a deep dive into.
The first of which includes the infamous Logan Noble who was a quarterback from the first season for the Colorado Yeti.
![[Image: xMGzssV.png]](https://i.imgur.com/xMGzssV.png)
While I could probably take about the user behind this player for ages due to all of their punishments and role that they had in the league during the early days of the National Simulation Football League but all of that is not important here as we focus on Logan Noble.
Logan Noble technically wasn't drafted in the S1 draft because he had been assigned to the team prior to the draft because each team had 2 each.
Logan Noble played only the first and second season for the Colorado Yeti. Logan Noble had been faced with a suspension that deemed him inelligible to continue playing in the league, which you all can find out visiting my All-Time Punishment Team or just searching the Punishment forums. Thought these two seasons he had put up some decent numbers of 5600 yards, 33 touchdowns, and 28 interceptions. While none of these numbers are world beaters they are relatively decent for the wild west days of the ISFL. Logan Noble had he not been suspended could have had an opportunity to continue to grow and build a career but I guess we are all left to speculate on what could be.
We also have another S1 create to talk about here which is Stanislaw Maddox who was a draft pick for the Orange County Otters (ew).
![[Image: TsjMHZT.png]](https://i.imgur.com/TsjMHZT.png)
Stanislaw Maddox played from seasons 1 to 6 and bounced around the league for a total of three different teams that includes Orange County, Las Vegas, and New Orleans in his final season.
The evolution of Stanislaw's game within the league it is quite clear to see the peak and downfall of his career as he had an average of 61 tackles, 6 interceptions, and 14.5 pass defenses for seasons 2 and 3. Up until his retirement in season 6 it was clear to see that his game had dropped off as his interceptions and pass defenses significantly dropped in seasons 4 through 6. He just never fully realized his potential as a shut down corner and slowly his play religated him off of the field.
The next player I am taking a dive into is probably one of my favorite cards yet just due to their render as Alvin the Chipmunk.
![[Image: qNbg45A.jpg]](https://i.imgur.com/qNbg45A.jpg)
Alvin Chipmunk was a tight end in the season 7 draft who ended up being taken with the
thirteenth pick overall by the Colorado Yeti.
Chipmunk is one of the first plaers here to remain in the DSFL for a two additional years and finally making their long awaited debut in season 9 where they put up 67 catches for 504 yards, which is solid for any tight end.
Chipmunk played up until the end of season 14 and continued to put up some of the same solid numbers. While not being one of the best tight ends in the league Chipmunk was certainly a fail safe for the Colorado offense.
Now I think it's time to talk about my arch-nemesis in the season 17 class Takeda Okura the safety for the Arizona Copperheads.
![[Image: Ho6SpUc.png]](https://i.imgur.com/Ho6SpUc.png)
Takeda was taken with the 11th pick overall and has been a semi-active player that has been able to put some results on the field.
He has barely updated his wiki thus far and I really don't want to pull up the numbers but he's been a serviceable safety but nothing too special in my own opinion.
In all seriousness, Takeda was a pleasant character in the rookie discord and it felt like I was comparing my success to his in the early days of Brack's career.
And now for the final short bio to go over is Clifford Rove, another one of the players from the early days of the league.
![[Image: WeX2giU.png]](https://i.imgur.com/WeX2giU.png)
Clifford Rove was the 11th selection overall in the season 3 draft and was also drafted as a quarterback coming out of college.
It wasn't until season 6 that Clifford Rove finally made the switch over to cornerback, maybe out of team necessity or just wanted to switch it up. This decision proved to be a good one as he remained as a cornerback in the league til season 12 and bounced around to Baltimore and San Jose before finally returning home to call it quits for his career.
Clifford Rove was named a Pro Bowler in season 6, finds himself on numerous all-time record lists, and was a two time Ultimus winner. This guy breathed success and brought it every where that he went.
And now to the fun part, me rating some of the best and worst cards from these two packs.
The Good:
Alvin Chipmunk:
(See above)
Just something about seeing Alvin the Chipmunk in football gear just looks good on a card and I can't explain it. Logos on the jersey and helmet look well placed and the colour scheme in this photo also blend well. I'm not entirely sure if I love or hate the red grass in the background but I'll let yall decide
Michael Witheblock:
![[Image: ZPA2ojf.png]](https://i.imgur.com/ZPA2ojf.png)
This card is one of the sleekest that I have seen thus far and really pops from the muted green background. While an action shot would have been nice, it sort of looks as if he is trying to catch a sailfish so I'll let it slide.
The Meh:
Bobson Dugnutt:
![[Image: lHxchOx.png]](https://i.imgur.com/lHxchOx.png)
I'm really just not a fan of this card because of the photo used for the card. Switching the blue and the white stripes with each other might have been more pleasing but that's just nit picking at this point.
The rest of the cards in these two packs are pretty average with no real negative or positive aspects that make them stand out from the rest of the pack.
Until next time and hopefully we all get some good pulls
