Expansion is upon us and that means all GMs with players not worth protecting must ask themselves, do I retire my player or as GM? Since I entered the league back in March of 2019, I've wanted Forrest to keep on running until his legs fell off. And I can't bring myself to compromise on that even now. I've put in so much work on him over the last year and a half that I don't want to have him ride off into the sunset just yet. Which means I have to do something as sad and step down as GM of the New Orleans Second Line. The last seven seasons leading the team and the three seasons before it leading Tijuana have been an absolute joy and I'm incredibly sad to be ending my GM journey here. I've made a lot of friends along the way and will always treasure the memories we've made together.

All that said, @ddrector will be taking over as head GM, and I have complete faith in his abilities to lead the franchise to even more success. Doot doot and let's win another championship!!
