It is that time for Grayson Kuusela to get a few more friends to join him in the Austin Copperheads ring of honour, the Snek Ring.
Now while this is a sad time to see so many favourite Copperheads retiring, but we have to honour these amazing people.
The first person on our list to enter is a no brainer and that is Rod Tidwell (@SDCore).

Rod was one of Austin’s first ever draft picks being taken with the 15th pick of the season 15 draft. Rod started his life slow (as wide receivers often do) as the wide receiver number 2 behind Django Anoa’i. But Rod was patient and his time came, taking over as wide receiver number 1 from season 18. Rod now holds all of the wide receiver records in Austin showing his remarkable career and one solely based in Austin.
Rod’s career stats are 479 total receptions, 8,041 receiving yards and 53 touchdowns. Rod also made 4 pro bowls in seasons 18,19,20 and 22 and finally got his hands on wide receiver of the year after so many 2nd places in season 22. These are impressive number and will take some beating by any future Austin wide receivers.
The next person on our list to enter the Snek Ring is one of my favourite ever players, Alfredo “Thighmaster” Crisco (@Ryan0413).

Alfredo started his career a year before Austin’s inception being taken with the 12th pick of the season 14 draft by the New Orleans Secondline. Alfredo never played a season for New Orleans and was pick up by Austin in the expansion draft. Alfredo was a rock in Austin during his long career and has been the only kicker and punter the team has ever known so far.
Alfredo has some career stats that look hard to match, 296 extra points scored from 306 taken with a completion percentage of 96.7%. 215 field goals scored from 233 taken with a completion percentage of 92.3%. His average punt length was 47.2 yards and he put 124 punts inside the 20. Alfredo has 4 pro bowl appearances in seasons 17, 19 and a double pro bowl appearance in season 20. Season 20 was a special one for Alfredo as well as being a double pro bowler he was also a double award winner taking both kicker and punter of the year, and helped Austin win the Ultimus. Alfredo has also left his mark on the record books with the ISFL longest field goal (65 yards) the 2nd longest field goal (62 yards) and the 3rd longest punt (78 yards).
The Last person to go on our list to enter the Snek Ring is a league legend and is entering as a GM and a user rather than a player, of course I could only be talking about @AdamS.

Adam was the founder and 1st GM of the Austin Copperheads and he did a hell of a job. The Austin lockeroom is a vibrant hub of activity and has strong and deep leadership thanks to the hard work Adam did putting this team together and imprinting his drive and winning personality on it. When Adam stepped down as GM after the Ultimus winning season 20 he had his number retired but it felt wrong that he wasn’t in the Snek Ring (which at that time had not been created). Now with the possibilty of Adam heading off to a new team this season with his new player it seemed like the best to make sure his place was sealed. Adam hasn’t got a player in the Snek ring solely because his players always came 2nd to his dedication to the team, he has position switched and retired early to help the team so hopefully this shows the respect that Austin will always hold for their beloved founder.
