Lets look at each remaining week and pick the winners and see who is goingnto make the playoffs. Ill also try to predict the playoffs and guess who is going to win it all.
Week 11 games
Minnesota @ Norfolk
The Ducks cone into this road game pretty favored I would say. Norfolk has not played very well at home or on the road, but they will definitely try and defend there home turf. Looking at the last meeting the Minnesota Defense proved too much for the Seawolves struggling offense. I expect much of the same here and with added help at running back the Ducks offense should have there way again. Minnesota wins 28-10.
London @ Myrtle Beach
This has to be the game of the week here. This game has major Ultimini implications. Fortunately for Myrtle Beach they lose this game they still have enough of a gap that they wont lose the 1 seed pretty much no matter what they do now. London however, if they lose this game, depending on the outcomes of their conference rival games, could come out only a game ahead and with four weeks still left thwy could lose there 1 seed by season end. I expect this to be a shootout as both teams have high powered offenses. London has a better defense but I think homefield for Daytona proves to lethal, and they will likely be looking to bounce back after the blowout they suffered at Minnesota a week beforep. Myrtle Beach wins 35-28.
Kansas City @ Dallas
Kansas City is the better team here, however Dallas could pull off a home win. The Kansas City defense will need to stop the run game if they want to get the road win, and close the gap between them and London by a game. Dallas needs to win out the season if they want real playoff hopes, and I believe that starts tonight with a win against Kansas City. But will they be able to sustain the wins on the road for the remainder of the season? Survey says not likely. Even still, Dallas Wins 20-17.
Tijuana @ Portland
This is a must win game for both teams. Portland needs a strong win here to keep up with the rest of the NFC, and Tijuana is only a game ahead of Dallas. If the Luchadores want to keep their playoff spot a win here is crucial. Luckily they are road warriors with a pretty stromg defense, and Portland hasnt inspired much confidence in me. Portland is still a tough team so I think they will fight tooth and nail hereto stay in playoff contention. I juat dont think itll be enough. Tijuana continues there road winning ways and gets another road win. Tijuana wins 16-10.
Standing after week 11
• NFC
1. London Royals (8-3)
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks (6-5)
3. Kansas City Coyotes (6-5)
4. Portland Pythons (5-6)
I could be wrong here but i think min would be over KC because of conference record but KC might have the tiebreaker so uncertain there.
• SFC
1. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers (8-3)
2. Tijuana Luchadores (5-6)
3. Dallas Birddogs (4-7)
4. Norfolk Seawolves (2-9)
Week 12 games
Myrtle Beach @ Dallas
This game should be rather one sided and a game Dallas would have liked to play early in the season instead of now at crunch time. I expect Daytona and the Buccaneers to win pretty handily. That isnt to say that dallas couldnt put up a fight or even snag an upset, I just believe it is unlikely. Myrtle beach will likely be getting an easy win here to further the gap between them and second place in the SFC and Dallas' hopes of a late playoff push will be looking much less likely. Myrtle Beach wins 31-14.
Norfolk @ Tijuana
Another Conference game here that will likely see the gap between the playoff teams of the SFC widen even further. Tijuana will be hoping for a much needed win here to get a bigger lead against Dallas and maybe even clinch the playoffs. Norfolk is playing for pride and draft picks at this point. With this game against Tijuana, 1st overall will seem even more likely. The Luchadores should have too much quality for the struggling Seawolves here. Tijuana wins 21-10.
London @ Kansas City
This is a must win for Kansas City if they want to keep the lead over Minnesota. Not a game they will want to be playing at this point in the season. London will simpley be hoping to maintain their grip over the NFC with a win here over a conference rival, in the conference where literally every week matters and could see a new team takeover the playoff spot. I think Kansas City will edge out a close game here, but it really could go either way. London already has some impressive road wins and one here wouldnt be surprising. Even still I believe Kansas City overcomes the adversity and gets much needed home win. Kansas City wins 24-21.
Portland @ Minnesota
This game should end in favor of the home team. Both of these teams are tough and well within range of the playoffs. But with Minnesota dominating Portland in portland, I expect them to win in big fashion at home, especially with the added help at running back. Portland may put up a fight but Minnesota at home should be too much for them to handle. Portland will fall nearly out of reach for the playoffs, while Minnesota climbs within striking distance of a playoff spot. Minnesota wins 24-14.
Standings after week 12
• NFC
1. London Royals (8-4)
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks (7-5)
3. Kansas City Coyotes (7-5)
4. Portland Pythons (5-7)
• SFC
1. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers (9-3)
2. Tijuana Luchadores (6-6)
3. Dallas Birddogs (4-8)
4. Norfolk Seawolves (2-10)
Week 13 games
• Myrtle Beach @ Norfolk
Myrtle Beach should continue their winning ways here against a weak norfolk team and improve to 10-3 on the year. Then again this is very David and Goliath type game here and Norfolk could shock everyone much like they did against London early on. Not that Myrtle Beach has to worry, they are already locked in. They could play with crazy wild strategies and have sone fun and still have the #1 seed in the SFC. I like Myrtle Beach to win this game big and crush Norfolks dreams of an upset. Myrtle Beach wins 31-13.
• Tijuana @ Kansas City
A stroke of luck for Kansas city to have a home game here in preparstion for their anticipated matchup with minnesota a week later. Tijuana does seem to play well on the road, and i think they could grab a win here. Although as Im writing this right now the week 11 and 12 games are being played and im seeing that i had them win a road win and they did not, but im not going to change my predictions I already failed those weeks. But I still like Tijuanas chances here. Kansas City had a rough real game in week 12 with peterson throwing 3 picks. I think he will have a bounce back game here, but i dont think he can do it alone. Tijuana wins this game in overtime 31-28.
• Minnesota @ London
This is a tough game that I think London will likely win. I dont think its gonna be an easy game for them though. As feusdays game were played in the middle of my writing this piece, London looked good, but so did Minnesota. Minnesota over the two games had 5 interceptions. And the added running back depth (im a star I know) really helps out the offense. So i think London will regain that 2 game lead and lock in the #1 seed, leaving minnesota to battle it out against KC in week 14 for a playoff berth. Could an upset happen here on the road for minnesota? Absolutely. But will it? Probably not. London wins a defensive battle 14-10.
• Dallas @ portland
This game should be a solid win for Portland, who DESPERATELY need to come away with a couple wins here late if they want a chance at the playoffs. Dallas at this point is playing more for pride. The likelihood of a playoff berth is about unreachable and their play of late had not convinced me they could win both of their final games while Tijuana loses both. I think Portland is just too good at home here against a sloppy Dallas team that doesnt play well in the fourth quarter. I think the rookie Qb in portland James III has a bounce back game against a soft defense, after he threw 4 interceptions against Minnesota. Look for portland to bounce back big here. Dallas has a chance for an upset but I just really dont think they have the gas to hold a lead in the fourth. Portland wins with 14 unanswered in the 4th, 24-17.
Week 13 standings
• NFC
1. London Royals (9-4)
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks (7-6)
3. Kansas City Coyotes (7-6)
4. Portland Pythons (6-7)
• SFC
1. Myrtle Beach Buccaneers (10-3)
2. Tijuana Luchadores (7-6)
3. Dallas Birddogs (4-9)
4. Norfolk Seawolves (2-11)
Week 14 games
Tijuana @ Myrtle Beach
This game has some serious implications for the playoffs in the very next week. Both of these teams are locked in in my predicitions so there isnt much to play for here other than a better record and some intimidation going into the playoffs. I believe Myrtle Beach at home is going to be way to much quality for Tijuana to handle and the Luchadores will fall to .500. That isnt certain though as Tijuana plays pretty well on the road. I just dont think Boss and the Luchadores will have enough in the tank to secure a road victory here. They might pull it off and if they do we could see an upset in the playoffs, but I dont see it happening. Buccaneers win 28-17.
Dallas @ Norfolk
This game is entirely for pride. Can Norfolk defend there home turf in the very last game? Give their fans a glimmer of hope for next season? Or will Dallas prove thwy arent the worst team once and for all, beating the worst team on the road to give their fans something to cheer about. This really should be a pretty good game. Too solid run games going toe to toe and the winning team emerging with bragging rights and a little bit of pride still intact. I really think Dallas is probably better than their record suggests and that they will snag a win here in the leagues final week. Dallas Wins 21-7.
London @ Portland
Portland doesnt have much chance for a playoff berth. Actually they have none. But what they do have is a chance to beat the conference top dog in the final week. Kill a little bit of the royals motivation before the playoffs. Going into it on a loss will be tougher than going in on a win. Portland might be able to inadvertantly cause an upset in the playoffs by getting into Londons head a little bit and causing a bit of chaos. But heres the thing, it wont happen. London just has way too much quality on their team. I think they go into Portland and put on the hurt for four quarters and go into the playoffs riding the high of victory. Royals win 28-14.
Kansas City @ Minnesota
Thisbis the game of the week right here. The winner goes to the playoffs. These two are both going to go into this game hard and full throttle. Literally the entire season is on the line. Minnesota has the number defense in scoring and pass yards, while Kansas city leads the conference in rushing yards. Last time these two met Kansas City walked away with an important home win against a tough rival. I think much the same will happen here. The home team gets the win. Minnesotas defense is dominant. Thats all you can say. The ground game has improved (time will tell how well i really do). The air game is respectable enough to hurt you if you let it. This game I think will be closer than the score will indicate. But I believe Minnesota walks away with a win here in a tough conference battle. Defense will reign supreme here in this battle as i dont see the coyotes throwing as well as they did during the game when they had home field advantage. The ducks ground game will be hard to stop with a duo pair running the ball and the coyotes will fall to minnesota 24-10.
Week 14 standings
• NFC
1. London Royals (10-4)
2. Minnesota Grey Ducks (8-6)
3. Kansas City Coyotes (7-7)
4. Portland Pythons (6-8)
• SFC
1. Myrtle beach Buccaneers (11-3)
2. Tijuana Luchadores (7-7)
3. Dallas Birddogs (5-9)
4. Norfolk seawolves (2-12)
Playoffs
Round 1
• Minnesota @ London
This game has been hard fought by both teams in both games theyve played. Londons offense against Minnesotas Defense. I think Cortez throws a few picks this game. And I think Negs throws a few. The ground games will dominate. Unfortunately for Minnesota London will prove too tough at home and their hopes of an upset will be crushed by a late game field goal to close the door, and a hail mary interception from negs will lock it. London is a tough team, and as much as I want to pick Minnesota here (i play for them ffs) i just cant bring myself to do it. Literally any other team in the league here and I have minnesota winning this game. But not against London. London wins 24-21.
• Tijuana @ Myrtle beach
Another game here where I really want to pick the underdog. Who doesnt love an underdog story? Unfortunately Myrtle Beachs pass attack will be able to get through Tijuanas defense, even though Tijuana boasts the second best pass defense in the league. This wont be a blowout by any means, but I think Daytona throws 2 touchdowns and Boss throws 2 picks with one coming back for a TD. The run game shouldnt be ignored though, Tijuana totals 150 on the ground with a touchdown, while Myrtle Beach runs for <100. In the end Tijuana falls after a tough grind. Myrtle Beach wins 31-20.
Ultimini
London Royals @ Myrtle Beach Buccaneers.
This will be a shootout make no mistake. Both teams boast high powered offenses and defense steps up when they need too. I think we will see a lot of turnovers and big plays. The last two meetings these two teams had Myrtle Beach has won. London will look to right the ship and finish their back to back championship run. Daytona throws two touchdowns and an interception, while Cortez goes 1 for 1. London is a solid team and puts up a fight, but they are on the road here and they already lost to the buccaneers on the road AND at home. Myrtle Beach wins the ultimini, 24-13.
Ultimini champs: Myrtle Beach buccaneers.
This is in no way shape or form an accurate prediction (unless it is lmfao) but is just some fun to prepare for the final games. Tell me your predictions in the replies and Go Grey Ducks!
