Im going to be looking at each prospect bowl game and grading my performance in each game. I know the play in the prospect bowl does nothing for draft stock or anything like that but its still fun to talk about my dot player. Especially if i do pretty well. Ill give myself a grade for the game, and then at the end im going to include the full prospect bowl running back stats to see where I place among my peers. Also im leaving out the final match because A. I dont want to scrub thorugh the video to find all the stats and B. It means that myself and the other backs in that game have an extra game of stats than the others. Also I am excluding Glover from my rakings because there were less than 50 carries and only 1 single game with more than 10 carries in the game. Just not enough volume.
Xander Creed - Edinburgh Unicorns
Game one - Game one was probably my best game overall. Most of my carries came in the first half where I managed 3 scores. My first touchdown was a 14 yard scamper in the first quarter. My next two scores came in the second quarter once from 5 yards and the other from 3 yards to end the half. I didnt reach the endzone again but I had a helluva game total and set a high standard for myself in the future. 25 carries in the game, the Creed train kept on chugging for 121 yards and 4.8 yards per carry. Did I mention 3 touchdowns? I havent seen my dot playing since i was a waiver in minnesota and played against london in the playoffs so im a little bit excited about my performance here.
Grade - A+
25 carries, 121 yards, 4.8 yards per carry, 14 yard long, 3 touchdowns.
Game two - I took a bit of a backseat in this game, with less carries and yards than my week one performance, and ill probably never score three touchdowns in a game again, i didnt score any here in fact. I still ran pretty well throughout the game, finishing with 4.7 yards per carry. With more carries though I may have been able to break big and add soem more yards. Still 85 yards on 18 carries isnt bad and I cant be too dissapointed with it. Im actually pleased with it, but that game one performance leaves a pretty big shadow.
Grade - B-
18 carries, 85 yards, 4.7 yards per carry, 11 yard long, 0 touchdowns
Game three - Another Big game for me here. Im really happy with this one, and I know the prospect bowl doesnt mean very much in terms of league achievements, but its a personal thing and its exciting to see your dot on the field playing well no matter what level it is at. I had a big 5.3 yard per carry kind of game here. 23 carries for 123 yards. Not too bad. Pretty damn good actually. Not touchdowns again, but hey, low scoring games not everyone makes it to the endzone. I ran really well all game and showcased my ability to be a workhorse in the backfield. We had a dominant run game in Edinburgh with both of us running the ball extremely well in almost every game. But I had the team on my back in this one. Just a shame we couldnt get the win.
Grade - A-
23 carries, 123 yards, 5.3 yards per carry, 14 yard long, 0 touchdowns.
Game four - Another solid day, over 100 yards on the ground, yet no touchdowns again. But you cant score everygame thats a given, despite not scoring im happy with this game. 22 carries for 105 yards is nothing to scoff at. 4.8 yards per carry puts me at or above 4.7 ypc in every game. Thats a staline im proud of. My time in minnesota I had low volume of carries but i was generally pretty efficient when i did get the ball. No different here in the prospect bowl. Im hoping to keep that efficiency up for whoever drafts me.
Grade - B
22 carries, 105 yards, 4.8 yards per carry, 18 yard long, 0 touchowns
Total Prospect Bowl Stats (minus the championship)

Overall it was a great time watching the prospect bowl and seeing how we all play in preparation for our drafts and rookie debut in the DSFL. I am extremely proud of how well I played throughout the prospect bowl and now that I can take my weights off and not play with 50 TPE i think ill do much better. I also want to say good luck to my fellow prospects, both in the draft and in the upcoming season. Its gonna be a good one.
