Ladies and gentlemen welcome back to the International Simulation Wrestling League, aka the ISWL! I know it has been quite a while since we have gone over the world of Simulation Wrestling but I am excited to bring you an episode of ISWL TV! Basically I will be going over a few matches from an ISWL TV taping including a world championship match between Froggy Asui and the ISWL world champion Swanty Jones! Froggy surprised everyone by winning an over the top rope battle royale by last eliminating The Big Edd by kicking him to the ropes and out of the ring with his weight and being off-balance made he get out. Froggy is a huge underdog but we will see what happens. But let's get started!
The first match of the night is Brando being accompanied to the ring by his business partner Blorgl vs the master of the spear Wasrabi Gleel. Gleel had challenged Brando before but Blorgl cost him the match by giving him a low blow behind the referee's back. Because of this the stipulation is now that Blorgl will be handcuffed to the barrier so he cannot interfere. The match begins with a feeling out process with both of the large wrestlers giving out clotheslines that nether of them react to. Action starts to pick up as Brqndo catches Gleel with a big boot and picked him up and gave him a scoop slam.
Brando would work over Gleel's back as Blorgl yelled instructions to him. Gleel took the advantage by kicking him in the gut and Irish whipping him across the ropes to a big clothesline. He then hit over the back with big clubbing blows and stomping on his hand. He then hits him with a knee drop. The action would spill to the outside where Blorgl would sneak Brando a chair. But when Brando got back into the ring and lifted the chair up high he us immediately hit by a big spear from Gleel for the three count pin. Afterwards Gleel grabbed a mic and challenged Brando to a no dq match at the next tv taping with Blorgl not being allowed at ringside, which they accept. This clearly isn't over between them.
Next up we have a match for the newly made TV Championship between Raylan Crowder and Matt Cross. They have been fighting in a tournament that also included Videl and Big Edd to crown the first champion. With Raylan being a member of the Four Horsemen and Cross trying to prove his worth by winning his first championship this has got to be a good match between two hot up and comers. The match starts out with some technical skills as they give out arm drags and take downs. The crowd definitely seems to enjoy this exchange as they give out a quick ovation as they come to a stop facing each other. The match continues with some great chain wrestling and even includes Cross doing a huge dive to Crowder to the outside.
But unfortunately this would prove to be Matt's undoing as he hurts his knee doing the dive and is easy prey for Crowders Ankle Lock. Cross tries to get out of it but eventually is forced to Tao when Crowder lays down and grapevines his legs around Cross's legs leaving him unable to escape. Cross is forced to tap and Crowder is the new TV champion. Rusty Rucker who is another member of the Four Horsemen comes out and celebrates with Crowder as Cross sits and sulks near the barricade. But is this over between those two? Only time will tell.
Next up Videl Valor comes out and cuts a promo talking about how she wants to prove herself and challenges anyone from the ISWL roster to face her in a match. Unfortunately for her The Big Edd, who has been in a very angry mood due to his recent slump, cones out amd accepts the challenge. Edd has lost both the battle royale and lost via roll-up to Crowder in the TV title tournament so he is looking for someone to take his frustrations out on. The match itself begins with Videl using her quickness to get around Big Edd's offense. She even gets quite a few kicks to his face in.
As the match progresses Edd gets more and more frustrated with Videl. Eventually he manages to catch her neck from her trying to jump at hi no and she manages to kick her way out of the big chokeslam. She isn't able to get out of the next one tho, as Edd finally catches her and power slams her down before giving her a huge chokeslam for the 3 count. He then cuts a promo saying that no matter who wins the world title match he is putting them officially on notice. He then storms off leaving Videl laying on the floor.
The next match up before the big world title match is between one half of the Tag Team Champions Murder Moose with Baby Yoda at ringside going up against Rich Triplett. Rich had been looking to challenge for the Tag Team championship for a while now and if he wins this match he gets a title match and gets to pick his partner. The match itself isn't exactly a technical mat classic with Rich mostly avoid the charges of Mooae before grabbing him by the horns the third time and giving him a piledriver for the three count. Not a long match but Moose doesn't usually have long matches. Now Rich just needs to find a partner.
Now it's time for the Word Title March with Swanty defending his championship against Froggy Asui. Before the match Swanty approached Froggy backstage and told her good luck because "you will need it". Froggy did not seem intimidated in the slightest however. The match is a huge contrast of styles with Froggy's high flying going up against Swanty's power game. The match begins with them both shaking hands in respect because both of them are babyfaces. Froggy gets the advantage early on with some quick forearm strikes before Swanty pushes her off and clotheslines her.
Swanty tries to pick her up for a slam but she kicks him in the face in the middle of it and then gives him a picture perfect drop kick. Eventually she knocks Swanty out of the ring and dives onto him before dragging him back into the ring to avoid a count-out victory where the title would not change hands. Swanty eventually gets the advantage back with some quick and painful slams and suplexes. Froggy in turn would hit him with a diving clothesline from the ropes and eventually goes up to the top rope to jump onto him but he runs up to meet her and tries to suplex her from there.
She manages to kick him off the top rope and goes for her patented Frog Splash. Unfortunately Swanty would get out of the way and Froggy would crash and burn right onto her gut. Swanty would not waste anymore time in giving her his Justice Served Power Bomb for the 3 count. He would then help her get back up and say how gutsy she is. Big Edd then appeared on stage and challenged Swanty to a world title match the following week. Swanty accepted it and said he didn't think Edd would get as close as Froggy did. She seemed to appreciate him saying that.
