Well, the Season 31 Draft Class has arrived into existence, and with it comes 11 receivers looking to make a name for themselves in the ISFL. As one of them, I am going to look at who is in my position and see what kind of person they are as a user, if they are new or a recrate, their build, and maybe some other facts. So let's go on right ahead into this article!
Name: Kotoni Staggs
User: @.emfaith
Archetype: Slot Receiver
TPE as of 7/1/21: 96
Ems is easily one of the best people I've interacted with in sim leagues. Coming over from the PBE, Ems decided with little football knowledge to join the ISFL, and so far it looks to be a good decision! With the most TPE in the S31 Class, I have no doubt Staggs could become a top receiver in this league, and a top selection in this upcoming DSFL draft is also very likely. The current build has a lot of TPE into Speed, Hands, and Agility already, each being above 70! If I am a DSFL GM, Staggs is likely the top receiver on my draft board. Active in discord too, this player could become a locker room favorite with just some chatting.
Name: Ken Oath
User: @Thor
Archetype: Slot Receiver
TPE as of 7/1/21: 83
Thor I learned is a current rookie mentor and is also a former long time GM of the Bondi Beach Buccaneers! I had a good chat with the user and I can't wait to compete with Oath. A user since February of 2020, Thor is likely to be a top pick with the active GM past and with the wide receiver position being how flexible it is, maybe even a reunion in Bondi Beach is possible! The archetype slot seems to be popular, and that 83 TPE is helping the case on being one of the better ones. Currently, Oath's build has 75 agility, 70 speed, and 65 hands. Not bad for a recreate at all.
Name: Rodka Raskolnikov
User: @Vikain
Archetype: Possession Receiver
TPE as of 7/4/21: 78
The Central Florida product out of Moscow seems to be a good player to add to DSFL draft boards! A recreate (who by the way has an amazing pfp) who hasn't had a player since SEASON ELEVEN is ready to return and make a splash in the league. Appearing to have a Season One create, it's safe to say Vikain is an OG member. I also think Raskolnikov will be taken higher for the possession receiver build they have currently, added on to the amount of speed that Rodka already has, I think we can see this recreate go in the top areas of the draft! 75 speed, 70 hands, and 61 agility ain't bad for someone like this.
Name: Jaycee Higgins
User: @"Netlandic"
Archetype: Slot Receiver
TPE as of 7/4/21: 75
Time to review myself! A recreate as Netlandic was previously Oliver Sloan of the Chicago Butchers, he looks to come back with an offensive minded player with Higgins. I am yet another slot receiver, so I think I will be overshadowed by Oath and Staggs, but still will be drafted at a reasonable area probably. I have one unique aspect to my build...adding intelligence to my game will maybe help my player? I'm not sure, tell me if it does. But yeah, I have 70+ agility, hands, and speed and I'm looking to make an impact for any team I go to. So that's my review on myself! Scout me
Name: Amari Springer
User: @Dagumpa
Archetype: Slot Receiver
TPE as of 7/4/21: 75
I am gonna get a little biased for my man Dag here. Me and him were teammates in the PBE and it kinda drifted over to the ISFL with our new recreates. Love the name, same archetype, same DSFL waiver team, same amount of TPE as of right now, it just clicks. I'm very happy with this guy and hope he succeeds. A recreate as previously was Dex Kennedy (who looks like a beast from what I can tell), Springer could be the same on the offensive side of the ball. Mainly focusing on well, you guessed it, speed hands and agility, Springer looks to become a nice Minneapolis product and provide for any squad.
Name: Eleven Kendrick-Wotts
User: @124716
Archetype: Slot Receiver
TPE as 7/4/21: 57
I'm 99% sure this is a spinoff of Eleven Kendrick-Watts and the user @124715, but back to the article. This is a first gen user, as Kendrick-Wotts is this users first player in the ISFL. Not sure if this user is in another sim league but I'm too bored for research right now. Currently on the Luchadores, Kendrick-Wotts was able to experience some playoff experience as a waiver pickup! How cool is that! 71 speed, 70 hands and 65 agility, I think EKW will be in that big slot receiver group that could go anywhere, maybe that playoff experience might help.
Name: Malcador "The Hero"
User: @SnowyWolfz
Archetype: Speed Receiver
TPE as of 7/4/21: 54
Our final non 50 TPE user is Malcador "The Hero"! What a name first of all, second of all this looks like the users 3rd player since they joined in February of 2020? Hey maybe third time is the charm! But so far, it looks like our first speed threat is gonna look to make some defenders toast! Everything from speed to hands to agility to intelligence has some TPE added to the build, so not a bad start to the creation at all! I expect The Hero to go higher than some slot receivers due to the archetype purely, and maybe some plays in the backfield could happen to for Malcador!
Ok, now we are getting into the 50 TPE range, I'll do my best to do a report!
Name: Thomas Hollands
User: @danieldbook
Archetype: Slot Receiver
TPE as of 7/4/21: 50
Another Luchadores product in the draft, Hollands (not to be confused with Spiderman actor Tom Holland!) seems like a nice new user to give a chance on! Doing the task needed, updates, made a wiki, all adding up together to make a nice user! The first update should go in soon so that 50 will change. So far, the user has put TPE into Hands mostly, as that's at 72 already! 63 speed, 55 endurance (nice change), and 55 intelligence. Nice unique build should create some nice stock added to Hollands.
Name: Paul Monitor
User: @Hallmonitor_20
Archetype: Speed Receiver
TPE as of 7/4/21: 50
A recreate and also in the PBE, Monitor is a GM of the Baltimore Hawks, who have the first pick I think? Anyways, likely top choice with the GM background, and that 76 speed is great for the build start, should make defenders wish they never guarded you. Hoping for only good results and I expect this player to go in the first 10 picks.
Name: Jalen Hopkins
User: @Cool Kid
Archetype: Speed Receiver
TPE as of 7/4/21: 50
Recruited by the one and only @negs, Hopkins could one day become a target for Negs if he can get that updating in. Only 3 post so far, however it's been only a week since they created, so no disrespect at all. TPE has been distributed to Hands (70), Endurance (55), and Agility (60), with none surprisingly to Speed which for a speed receiver is a bit odd. Who knows, maybe the build is a nice one we can be surprised with.
Name: Devin Boateng
User: @dev
Archetype: Speed Receiver
TPE as of 7/4/21: 50
Our second to final prospect is a speedy receiver out of Boston. The Norfolk waiver pick up should be a nice addition to any roster, bringing good speed, good hands, and even some competitiveness added to the pot. The former Michigan Wolverine turned into a Seawolf for the remainder of the season and hey, maybe they impressed enough to return, only time can tell. Anyways, nice speed target for any quarterback.
Name: Dumais Wells
User: @Sopath
Archetype: Possession Receiver
TPE as of 7/4/21: 50
I've gotten a chance to talk with this user actually, seems very underrated and very cool. A very balanced build and as only the second possession receiver in this class, I think we can see the former S6 create go higher in the draft then some other players. I like this player a lot and I think wherever they go, an impact will be made positively.
A very nice class for receivers we have here. For GMs, this is a chance to look at some dudes who can make a nice impact. For QBs, this is a chance to see your future targets. And for other positions, your future locker room teammates. Hope you enjoyed, and also, happy July 4th everybody.
