Robby Rainey is experiencing something special on this year's Yellowknife Wriaths squad, having gone 8-0 for the first time in his football career. Rainey had the following to say when approached by reporters. "Yeah, its sure is something special isn't it? My college team managed 7-0 before those Ole Miss bastards screwed up our perfect season, but so far nobody has been able to slow down Yellowknife for long. I'm a part of that, but everyone on this offense puts in so much work, you should see Akselsen out there with Cook and Kennedy running through route trees after practice is over near every day. Then you got myself and Glenn who go do some blocking shed and Oklahoma drills during that space of time. All of this is before you even touch the defense, every one of those guys is going at it day in and day out. They've come up with the notion that they want to average 7 sacks a game over the season. Before you call em crazy take a look at the stat sheet though, through 8 games they have 53 which by my rudimentary math skills is only 3 sacks off that average. Overall its been a helluva ride and I'm proud everyday to have been traded to this team in order to be a part of it. Looking forward to playing an incredible team in the Philadelphia Liberty next week and even more so looking forward to hopefully beating an incredible team in the Philadelphia liberty next week".
