Two seasons, two teams, two championships. These past two seasons made all my hard work worth it. I feel good about calling it quits after season 9, hopefully with my third championship, but whatever happens I'm happy with what I have accomplished in my career. I'm sure I could play longer, I still feel good, but I want to retire while I'm still in good health and be able to spend more time with my family. I'm really proud to have been part of two fantastic organizations during my career and to have helped bring championships to two amazing fanbases.

At this time I'll be taking any questions with regards to my impending retirement, my career, the Ultimus game, hotdogs, whatever.

Are you planning on recreating? What do you plan to recreate as?

Yes, recreate will be coming later on this week so stay tuned. I mean don't get too excited though. I want to be part of the league still but probably won't ever return to my peak levels of activity.

What are you proudest of in your career?

I'm most proud of winning the championship with Philadelphia. When I was first drafted, people weren't giving us much of a chance to do anything and especially the Legion were vicious rivals towards us. So, it feels good to have seen all our hard work and efforts pay off and I loved the guys we had on that team. Not to mention we were the first NSFC team to win it all which was a huge accomplishment as well.

How does it feel to help the Wraiths overcome their curse?

It feels really good. Like the Liberty, I think a championship for the Wraiths was a long time coming. Despite the rivalry between Philadelphia and Yellowknife over the years, it was always an organization that I respected. I don't think there were many other teams I would have been more happy to be traded to, so I'm glad that I was able to help another great organization make it all the way to the top.

I think that my impact is never going to really show up in the history books, but I hope that I will be remembered by the Liberty as one of their first drafted players and a cornerstone of the franchise as we won our first championship. I don't think a spot in the Hall of Fame is in my future and that's fine with me. I love the game and I am blessed that I have been able to play it at the highest level and come away with multiple championships. Really, I think the league will end up leaving a bigger mark on me than I did on it and at the end of the day that's fine with me. I've enjoyed my career and don't think I could have asked for a lot more than how it turned out.

I'm not completely settled on what I want to do yet, but I know that it will be related to football in some capacity. My wife is a personal trainer so I may look to get into that more but my father has been my agent during my time as a player so I may join his agency as well. I think either of those routes would be appealing to me because I would be able to work with players and help to improve their careers and lifestyles. Coaching isn't something I have considered at this time. I'm not opposed to it, but I don't know if I necessarily have the aptitude for it.
