Welcome to NSFL for those of you who are still new and figuring things out. I really hope you're enjoying the experience for itself. If you're having any questions on that front I'm at AdamS on discord and I will talk to you about it That said we have a pretty sizeable little community where people with similar interests have found each other. Over time some things have developed that add to the experience and I wanted to touch on those today. Now there are also other leagues in the sim sports pantheon but that's not what I'm talking about right now. There are plenty of people who can help you look into those though if you're curious. Let's move on to the NSFL specific side activities though.
Werwolf
The longest running and most popular side activity is a world of its own. If you've never played the game, a quick breakdown goes like this. There's a village. Within the village are a small number of hidden bad guys aka werewolves. The rest of the village is trying to find them while the werewolves are eating the village. The village will try to hang people they think are wolves. It works on a scheduled day/night cycle, no one is allowed to chat about it outside the game, some people have powers, and basically you can't trust anyone at any time. It's stressful and fun. Games typically have between 20-30 people and take a few weeks. Signups just started but unless you've played one of these type games before I'd generally recommend observing a game first. They can get VERY involved as people are actively calling each other liars for all hours of the day. If you're feeling adventurous or just want to come watch first, pop into the server. Also of note, you can go read back through the 30+ previous games to get an idea of what you're getting into.

Cards Against Humanity
It was popular enough in several teams' servers (you're welcome GMs) that I started a league wide version along with Laser and Rradum. And it's run by ASFC GMs so you know it's good. Come on in and play. Rules and how you play are pinned in every channel. If you've a kehoq never heard of CAH, it's a prompt game. You get a series of cards with responses to prompts and a rotating judge picks the winner. Usually quickly turns to dirty and dark humor. Lots of silliness though. We typically prefer our games to be max 7 people.

Jackbox
A new collective that popped up recently. As I understand it you can play on your phone so long as some person playing has the games, which is Handy and fun. If you're unfamiliar with the You Don't Know Jack franchise it's generally trivia and other fun stuff with a snarky and sometimes silly twist.

Gaming

Fantasy Sports
Have trouble getting people for leagues? Well..you don't now. We don't have any official leagues set up but we have a wide range of sports fans who can fill up or fill out your league and there will be leagues to join as well. Will organize a list for people down the line as needed.
There you go. Some extra side benefits of being a part of NSFL. People to do other fun shit with. And if you know something I missed, feel free to let me know and I'll update the list as I see fit!
