6) Next Year
Written: If your team didn’t win the title this year, why do you believe they can win the next year (or the year after that)?
The London Royals had a tough year, ending the season at the bottom of the NFC North, and tied for worst record in the whole league, with a disappointing five wins and nine losses. However, a rough first season was expected. After all, the London Royals are an expansion franchise, and going through their first season ever in the DSFL. Growing pains were expected, especially as the team was reliant exclusively on first year, underdeveloped players who haven’t had the time to develop their skills. However, despite rough team performances, the Royals still have some clear bright spots that should translate easily to future success assuming they are able to rely on many of their top end talent being sent down and spending another season grinding away in the development league. The Defense is already full of monsters, and the Offense will be working hard to rise to the occasion. Running Back Acura Skyline is the stand out talent on offense, and an offseason to spend some time in the gym and sharpen his skills will only translate into further wins come Season 22 in the DSFL. Additionally, Wide Receiver Nick Kaepercolin, Wide Receiver Sue Cash Jr., Tight End Donatello Arrabiata, and Quarterback Colby Jack are all expected to spend some serious time this offseason training, and are equally as committed to bringing the Royals to the playoffs for the first time in franchise history this coming year.

16) Scouting Report

Undoubtedly, the top Running Back prospect in the DSFL this season is Acura Skyline. The 6-1 Speed Back did his best Derrick Henry impression this season rattling off major runs, including two 70+ yard rushing touchdowns, one of which came in the form of a walk-off overtime victory (one of the Royal’s admittedly few victories in their inaugural season). While the National Simulation Football League is admittedly in a good place currently when it comes to Running Back talent, Acura Skyline still deserves attention due to both his league leading rushing abilities (averaging a blazing 5 yards per carry in addition to his number one in the league 1761 rushing yards) and his advanced leadership skills. His leadership skills were on clear display both on and off the field as the Offensive captain for the Royals.
But really, when it comes down to it, Skyline has that special intangible that makes a star. He has a winning smile, Dwight Howard esque boulder shoulders, and a commitment to excellence and hard work. His horrible diet has already been extensively reported upon, but he is certain to overcome it while trucking, juking, spinning, and stiff arming any fool defensive back who tries to test him in the open field. He’s like a god damn Dothraki.

Written: You’ve been contacted to appear in a company’s ad airing during the Ultimus. What is the ad about?
The camera opens on an empty classroom. Everything appears in order, and it is brightly lit. Acura Skyline, wearing his London Royals jersey, enters the frame.
Skyline: “Education. Achieving at school is important. For many, it’s the pathway to a brighter future full of promise, comfort, and satisfaction. However, for others, school is bad. It might even be said that school is for bitches.”
The curtain, on which it is revealed the classroom scene is painted upon, drops. This reveals that Acura Skyline is actually standing in front of a bathroom that is in the process of being constructed. There is a toilet sitting on it’s side on the concrete floor. The drywall is partially installed, revealing support beams and insulation.
Skyline: “School sucks. And it’s hard. And if you go to it, you need to go do at least four more years to make any kind of reasonable money. Instead of school, I have been asked to come here and endorse another way of living. Another pathway to success. Instead of school, live in properties under development by contestants on Love It or List It! For the low low price of exactly zero dollars and all of your self respect, you can choose to live illegally in properties that are currently not being inhabited by their owner because they are being renovated. This idea sucks, but it’s brought to you by some dude with too much money and no good ideas. Live in development properties!”

What a stupid ad. I thought it was going to be funny and then got too deep in the concept and don’t have the energy to write something else. Well, they can’t all be winners.
20) Nostalgia
Written: What is your happiest memory in this league?
Acura Skyline, starting Running Back for the London Royals and leading DSFL Rusher in Season 21, has a mixture of happy and sad memories (the sad memories are mostly disappointing losses on the field, but also when he watched Cheer and Sherbs broke her arm falling from the pyramid while preparing for Daytona) from his first season as a professional football player. On the happy side, he made some tremendous friendships in the locker room, got a chance to develop his leadership skills as a team captain, and further established himself as a figure in the league by participating on the awards committee. Additionally, Skyline has a lot of happy memories around his on the field performances, with ten touchdowns and 1761 yards under his belt in his rookie season. However, one moment stands head and shoulders above the rest. A moment of historic, legacy strengthening greatness. His “I’ve arrived” moment. In Week 6, the Royals hosted the visiting Minnesota Grey Ducks. This game was circled on the calendar, as many believed that the Grey Ducks were one of the premiere contenders for the Ultimini this season, and a real challenge for the struggling and young London Royals. The game turned out to be a real nail biter, going to overtime with a score of 21-21. A few possessions past, both teams exhausted and stifled by high quality defense. But then: Acura Skyline broke through. 74 yards to the house. His burst unmatchable, burning every defensive player on the field. Walk off TD. Incredible.
